  1. In the late 70's/early 80's my cousin and his friends (attendees at USF) used to do the brewery tour once a day.
  2. ^Well then, just pretend that Ben is Jacob and that Widmore is the Smoke Monster.
  3. I'd be happy with a half-priced cheese on a stick from Knoebels!
  4. ^^Are you sure it's not a leprechaun. Or it "could be a crackhead that got's ahold of some bad stuff"
  5. His ex wife is a better guess, since Kate is on the run from the law in the flash sideways. I had a feeling that Smoke Monster would be Claire's friend. Did anyone else notice that the Jack's name on the wheel at the lighthouse looked funny. I looked like it was written in different handwriting than the other names and Shepard was written over someone else's name. I could be wrong but that's how it looked to me. So who is Jacob trying to get to come to the island. I say Widmore!
  6. Marcell - Köszönöm I edited your post to help you with the translation from Hungarian to English. We hope that when you visit Mesepark you will be able to post pictures on Theme Park Review.
  7. My apologies - I have corrected the credits!
  8. Infected Claire kicks ass They did a good job moving the story along only creating one new question, who is coming? I say Widmore! The above is written white pen to remain hidden. I think if you highlight it , it will appear.
  9. ^Some crappy place called The Venetian! BooYah!
  10. I have to go to Vegas for business for a couple of days and I'm going to try to get pictures from the backstage garage area of the NASCAR track and put together a PTR.
  11. I just don't undersatnd what any of this has to do with the Dalia Lama or Gandhi's Salt March.
  12. For the record, this is how the Funatics program was implemented at SFGAdv last year. First redemption was a "Skip the Line Pass". I beleive the voucher code was e-mailed to me within 24 hours. Then you had to enter the voucher code at the Six Flags online store and print the voucher. The voucher gave specific instructions where you needed to present your season pass and voucher (there was one central location) to receive the Skip the Line Pass that was good for 2 people. 13. It has levels of meaning that you can not even begin to comprehend.
  14. ^That is truly frightening!
  15. Quite a few reasons: Treatment of animals became a hot topic in the past 25 years. It costs a lot of money to maintain a qualified animal staff (trainers and vets). Quite a bit of room is necessary to house animals and the American public keeps demanding more rides. Many parks can't expand there boundaries so the repurpose the existing land.
  16. ^Exactly Not to oversimplify the situation, but I would bet the contract states that permanent structures/rides are the property of the farigrounds and that Six Flags is saying that if they can take a structure/ride apart and move it, then it is not permanent. And now it is up to the lawyers the defend their definition of "permanent"
  17. FYI - The State of Kentucky has filed suit to prevent Six Flags from removing any rides. DOVER, Del. (AP) -- Kentucky officials are suing bankrupt theme park operator Six Flags Inc. over ownership of rides and equipment at a shuttered amusement park in Louisville. State officials contend that the rides are considered fixtures to the land on which Kentucky Kingdom sits, much of which is owned by the Kentucky State Fair Board. In a Delaware bankruptcy court filing, Kentucky officials are seeking a declaration that the state owns the rides, and an order preventing Six Flags from removing them. The state filed the lawsuit late last week after learning that Six Flags had positioned trucks to begin removing equipment. It preceded the lawsuit with a letter to Six Flags instructing the company not to remove the rides. Six Flags has filed a countersuit, claiming that it owns the rides and that the lawsuit by Kentucky is prohibited by the bankruptcy code. Six Flags is seeking court permission to remove the rides and a permanent restraining order prohibiting the state from trying to take possession. A pretrial conference in the dispute is scheduled for April 14. Kentucky officials have said at least four companies have expressed interest in taking over Kentucky Kingdom, and that a new operator could be in place by summer.
  18. QFT - I always said I wouldn't let this happen to me, but the day 5 years ago that I limped off of the Coney Island Cyclone with a Charlie Horse and a deep thigh bruise I knew the rough coasters would win out over my body in the end.
  19. I hear you, as I've been hit by choose change on El Toro, and it didn't fly out of someone's pocket. The person threw the change in the air because he thought it was cool.
  20. No 1 or 2 months are not realistic, unless crews were to work 48 hours a day, but there are only 24 hours in a day. Having the park closed could increase productivity by 50% at most, but not by the 300% which would be necessary for completion of this vast of a project in 2 months.
  21. It was an awesome show! But then one of the main 'characters' died and they pretty much gave up. I REALLY liked that show a lot. I watched a couple of episodes and liked it (especially the buffoons they had in marketing/PR trying to work on a shoestring budget). I did not realize one of the character died.
  22. ^As if you remember that day.
  23. I have no trouble with the removal of air gates and minimal restraints as stupidity will only help the stupid people. Provided we also get rid of all lawyers. However, keeping lose items off of rides is necessary because stupid people bringing unsecured items on to rides could hurt others and ruin their day.
  24. ^^I also think it is Jacob as a kid, but some people I work with say it is one of the two kids from Oceanic 815, but why would the kid leave the temple to taunt someone he is a threat.
