The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread
larrygator replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^I heard that the layout won't fit in the park. Makes you wonder why if DelGrosso's is moving or taking out rides, why aren't they doing this to fit in the Revolution coaster. Also, what wooden coaster do they have on site waiting to be built? Just sounds very odd. -

I had to stop there on 3 different occasions before I found Speedway Draft operating. -

FYI - 355 of the 638 USA coasters listed on rcdb.com are 30 feet or taller. But some adult coasters don't have heights listed. I estimate 25 adult coaster in the USA don't have heights listed. Therefore, about 40% of the US coasters are under 30 feet in height. -

These are great! I just linked them to the Park Index -
A lot of what happens at the US hotels is dependent on if the hotel has a bar. If it has a bar, many that are over 21 will gather and hang out, some people drink and some don't. Otherwise people will congregate in the lobby. Some people will venture out to a 7-11, if in walking distance for some beverage, it all just depends on the hotel and location. As was just stated, the price includes two people to a room in separate beds, unless a couple requests different arrangements. Single rooms will cost more. As far as being cramped, everyone has their own seat on the bus, but the bus will be full. Someone will be sitting next to you, but not on your lap (unless you work out a different arrangement). Sometimes it gets cramped in the elevators at the hotels when a selfish person tries to cram in instead of waiting for the next one. And the hotel bar will get cramped if it is very small.

Paul - thanks. I've been away for a couple of days meeting up with the Middle America trip and taking some photos for the Park Index myself. I'll add you photos tonight. -

Great news! I hope the locals become as excited about a wooden coaster as the enthusiast community. This provides more variety to an already awesome park. I will return to Stockholm in the future. -
Unfortunately, it is a really bad time to contact Robb and Elissa as they are 5 days into a 3 week trip. They do have e-mail access but they are EXTREMELY busy focusing on making the current trips a success. Knowing Elissa, I know she would be able to speak with your mom on the phone after she returns to California, sooner might be tough. The initial deposit is fully refundable for a couple of months, I strongly suggest you get the deposit in ASAP and if your mom is not happy after speaking with Elissa, the money can be refunded. This trip is selling out fast, if you wait to talk to Elissa the trip you might get shut out.

R&E planned the trip perfectly by hitting SDC on a Sunday instead the day prior. It was a mad house at the park on Saturday. -
