  1. I imagine the TGI Friday's at Breakers may have televisions too.
  2. ^ That's a bummer. Because groups then sit out at SFNE which causes the ride to run at less than full capacity.
  3. Just curious, if you removed Fury's helix wouldn't it be about the length of this ride? By all accounts, that helix is the weakest part of Fury.
  4. Yeah Fury feels so different from the other B&M hypers out there and it catches you off guard.
  5. Does this one just release everyone into the ride in a giant free-for-all like New England's? I really liked how the one at Over Texas gave you an assigned number so you were guaranteed to ride with your group.
  6. They 100% had tvs in the Melt, but for my visit they were all showing the Disney Channel. I'm sure they'd put the game on if you ask.
  7. I have no shame. You'll find me eating my pizza fried dough from Villains Cafe.
  8. ^ I thought so too until I saw an ACE glasses strap. At least there's a chance the person at Cedar Point is your average Joe Schmo and just really wants to wear your glasses. There's 0 chance a non-enthusiast would have a strap for the American Coaster Enthusiasts.
  9. I'd rather see them close Crackaxle Canyon and open DC Heroes in its place. Now that's of course me dreaming for Superman in December.
  10. I love the Liseberg flume for the back-to-back large drops at the end.
  11. Phoenix's queue will spill onto the midway but since they dispatch trains in 15 seconds, that queue only takes 15 minutes (if that). The longest lines you'll see are for Flying Turns and Impulse. Everything else eats through people quickly thanks to their operations.
  12. Out of curiosity has anyone heard anything about Kersplash at Edaville? It appears to be assembled and was supposed to open in 2017 but it didn't. 2018 came and went and it still didn't open. I've seen a lot of sites list it as opening this year, but I haven't been able to find anything official from the park. I've never been to Edaville even though it's just an hour from me since I keep putting it off until Kersplash opens. I know it's just a small Miler water coaster, but it's a huge addition for a park like Edaville.
  13. Also I had no idea the Rangers were getting a new ballpark. Those poor taxpayers.
  14. Great report! I'm glad you finally got on Mr. Freeze and (more importantly) the original log flume. Now you just need to tick off the flume at Knott's.
  15. To their defense, their ride lineup isn't quite as large, but it's still worth noting. Waldameer is awesome. Just make sure you spend like 90% of your time there compared to Conneaut.
  16. ^ Yeah the day went so smoothly! I'm thankful I didn't get the traditional Fuji-Q experience thanks to Robb and Elissa's planning.
  17. I just recommend visiting on $10 days. The difference in crowds I've seen on $5 is ginormous. Tumble bugs are neat rides. After the Blue Streak, I'd say it was the park's most popular ride.
  18. I'd only notice it in the very back row in 2017, but it didn't seem to be there in April.
  19. I tempt fate every time I drive into Boston. The Blue Streak is child's play by comparison. It's not like the coaster chucks pieces of its structure into the queue like that abomination at Clementon.
  20. If I went back, Blue Streak would be the unquestioned reason. The airtime in the back row is spectacular.
  21. I agree it's location is a bummer for HITP, but it'll still be nice on the chilly days in Fright Fest.
  22. ^ I mean they were the 5th friendliest park on the Golden Ticket Awards a few years ago.
  23. We could have very easily spent the whole day pointing out everything wrong with the place, but the classic ride collection is a redeeming quality of the place. That being said, I feel like people should know just what they're walking into.
