^ I could go for a verified issue that was beyond the guest's control being accommodated. I would however like to see some sort of system implemented that provided CM verification of the issue, rather than just going on the guest's say-so. For example: If the guest was delayed beyond a reasonable expectation at a dining or shopping venue, then have a timed validation stamp applied by a CM. It could be as simple as having a parking ticket stub validated. If left to the word of the guest there are far too many people willing to lie. And amen to fixing the guest assistance pass problem. As someone who would legimately qualify for such a system but still refuses to use it, it burns me up to see it abused.

With the exception of extending the FP window to account for a ride that was down during the window you happened to have, I don't have an issue with enforcing the return window. Personally, I would prefer that there were no CM latitude other than the above stated case. If CMs are allowed to make exceptions then it won't be long before all the DLR regulars learn the key words or phrases that give them a better chance of the CM making an exception in their favor while everyone else following the rules would get denied. When you add a grey area to something like this it opens the door for abuse of the system. A specific time removes all doubt. If you're there on time then your FP is honored, if not then shame on you for not planning better. I'm sure I could probably be persuaded to include maybe a couple of other unforeseeable circumstances that might be reasonable cause to extend your window, but not any that include the guest(s) having made a conscious decision that may have the result of them arriving late for their window. Decisions have consequences. People need to learn to deal with that and plan accordingly.

They could still turn Full Throttle into something more along the lines of Project Helix by simply adding the rest of the ride that is currently missing after the top hat. Then they could get rid of the gimmicky and unnecessary backwards launch. Too many rides at SFMM end up falling into the "What could have been.." category, particularly when considering the awesome terrain they have to work with, but seem to ignore.

Didn't the developer have until September to get this ball rolling? September has come and gone and we've heard nothing. I'm guessing that's what we'll continue to hear. -

I was on a Jungle Cruise boat that jumped the rail back in the late 80s. It only took a few minutes of fishing around under the boat to get it back on the rail. They lifted up the cover over the center part near the engine to get down into the water from there. A friend and I actually assisted. It was pretty fun. They gave everyone on the boat exit passes due to the minor delay. We used them on Space Mountain since it had an insane line and FastPasses were yet to be thought of.

By the way, Lex Luthor was awesome. I was lucky enough to get a ride during which they launched both sides of Superman just a few seconds apart during our ascent. The tower shaking and swaying is seriously freaky when you're that high up. The drop itself was cool and all, but I personally thought the shaking made the ride stand out from other towers. On a different note, I doubt I'll be riding Green Lantern again. I found it pointless and painful. We spent the majority of the ride facing the ground with the restraints biting into our shoulders and the seat bump attempting to sterilze us. We finally got a flip at the very end, but it came with a gut punch. It seems to me that to get a good ride on this coaster you'd want to be on the lighter side of an unbalanced car. That's not likely to happen for me unless I rode alone, or with a very light person, while there were two heavier than usual people on the other side. With that being fairly unlikely I think I'll just notch the credit and call it good.
