  1. This looks just like my local park Water Safari in Old Forge, NY, They have the same mat slides and they have the same rubber slides and There Called Bombay Blasters they must have been built by the same people. Also they have one of those crazy rapids rides down the side of a hill. http://www.watersafari.com/attractions/index.cfm?content_id=230
  2. I just went to Great America for the first time ever last week, here is a little recap of what I thought of the park. Iron Wolf-Hurt like hell I bashed my ears so much, I cant imagine riding this if I had earings. American Eagle-One of the surprises of my trip I had always heard about the roughness of this ride so I wasent expecting much out of it but honestly I loved it the only part that was kinda rough was at the bottom of the first hill. Great Ride but it takes forever to walk through it's massive line. Demon- The other surprise of my trip, I absolutely loved it and I thought it was smooth as Glass, call me crazy but I thought it was the smoothest ride in the park. Batman-It was my first Batman Invert but overall it was okay it was smooth like every other B&M but I felt it was over very quickly and was not as forcefull as i heard it would be. Out of the four B&M inverts i've been on this was the worst. Ragin Bull- Biggest dissapointment I have ever had on a coaster, While it was still a good ride it did not thrill me at all and was just overall boring. I guess i was expecting too much out of it because I have been spoiled by my local hypers, Bizzaro and Ros. Also it did not help that I watied 2 hours for it when the sign only said one.
  3. Its Goliath, thats why I said it was funny they where singing the song about debt on a Six Flags Coaster. And to the kid that said I got that remark from screamscape your wrong I dont belive screamscape ever even posted about the commercial. I actualy got it from comment a youtube user left on the video, I just tweaked it a little to make it sound better.
  4. I find it to be smoother then flashback, and it is about the same as ME but insteed of the head banging you get on ME you get thrown around on Cyclone
  5. The Free Credit Report Band is back with a new jingle, this one was filmed on Goliath at La Ronde http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvDe8eH7040 PS. Its kinda funny there singing a song about debt at a Six Flags park
  6. From what I have heard Millie is not very good after the first drop if you want to see a great forcefull ride, go to SFNE and ride Bizzaro
  7. Being from a very big Italian area with many great family owned pizza places, it is considered a sin to go to Dominos or Pizza Hut, they are also much more expensive then the local places, while a large at Pizza Hut or Dominos may be the same price as a local place it is the size of a local large.
  8. The purpose of this topic is to discuss and debate both of the different manufacturers Mega Coasters and to see which one preferred by TPR members. Personally I would have to say Intamin but I have only been on one B&M, Raging Bull, which is there first one and I know they have been getting better ever since. I have also been on two Intamins, Ride Of Steel (DL) and SROS (Bizzaro), both of which I found to be more forcefull and have more airtime then Bull.
  9. ^ You should ride Cyclone at SFNE if you have already dealt with the parks two worst rides (Flashback and ME)
  10. I would have to say mine would be Predator (DL) It should be burned or tossed into Darien Lake Iron Wolf (SFGAM) Headrest have no padding Cyclone (SFNE) I still like it though Mean Streak (CP) Terrible and not very fun after first drop Wildcat (LC) It's most likley so bad because they had Dinn refurb it Steamin Demon (TGE) I love Arrow but this ride is unrideable Any SLC or Boomerang, Also I dont understand how people think American Eagle is a rough coaster, Because it feels like glass compared to Preadator, or just about any Dinn creation.
  11. I guess my homepark would be Sylvan Beach (about 30 min away from me). But the Parks I Visit the most are, The Great Escape, SFNE, Darien Lake and Seabreeze. I am happy with my location, because I have three great coasters at my local parks, SROS (Bizarro), The Comet and ROS.
  12. the worst park i have ever been too has to be The Great Escape
  13. Since there are discussion fourms for a lot of parks out there, I wanted to make one for Darien Lake. So here is a place where you can talk about the rides, future attractions and park improvements you would like to see and just about anything else that has to do with Darien Lake.
  14. This great ride at The Great Escape
  15. My worst steel is the wonderful Canyon Blaster at the Great Escape. Not painful just boring. http://www.gecentral.com/P6160050.JPG And my worst wooden is the Predator at Darien Lake. Very painful would be a good ride with some re-tracking and new trains http://www.darienlakecentral.com/DLCPhotos/PredatorGood.jpg
