  1. ^ It's a complete clone of the DL version. Just a smaller (way smaller) station. Dispatch intervals, I believe, would be the same. On a sidenote, the SM Cast Members do a helluva job. The ride has possibly the fastest dispatch intervals I've ever seen, and yet every train is full!
  2. As a proud SmartCar owner, I can tell you that it is NOT, in fact, the best car in the world...but I love it anyway.
  3. Looks like the PR guys are doing their jobs a little too well...color me confused.
  4. ^ Oh no, there's a waiting list! -orgiastic scream -dabbled by water -LSHoF and I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting some...
  5. Probably because the exit is so far removed from the entrance; people may get confused: Guest: excuse me, where's the SR line? CM: well, you have to go all the way back, take a left at Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, then take another right, go past the Starcade, go straight, then take another right, head past the photo booth, and the line starts there. Guest: *head explodes*
  6. Thank you, Six Flags, for not being like your Ohio-based cousin and actually making financial decisions with some sense.
  7. You've improved a helluva lot from your first TR...but I'm still waiting on the turnstile photo!
  8. ^ On a B&M flying coaster, I mean.
  9. You probably won't need FP; chances are, the park will be dead.
  10. The whole point is that the cars can tilt, and you get the sensation of falling out of the car and into the air below.
  11. A little off-topic, but I'd like to point out that the ACE Classic designation is NOT to point out great wooden roller coasters, but to designate those rare coasters running as they have been run for its entire existence. Yes, most of the coasters on the list aren't the best...but that wasn't the point of the designation in the first place. We now return to our scheduled discussion...
  12. ^ No one was insinuating that...it's just that many of us might feel a little sad if someone removed all the old school charm from Little Dipper.
  13. NO, I WOULD NOT!!! JJ Yeah, Jeff wouldn't count it as one credit, there are two seats so it would be TWO credits! Nice pics Mike. I could do the "coaster" but not the walk. He wouldn't count it as two credits! Don't forget the wheel assemblies!
  14. This has passed the realms of reality and now is something out of the Twilight Zone...
  15. The thing is, will SFGAM maintain its ACE Coaster Classic status? Something tells me they won't...
  16. On a different note, Has anyone seen land grading behind Johnny Rockets? Unless the new coaster's a terrain, ground prep should be starting pretty soon...
  17. A loop and a double corkscrew on a flying coaster?
  18. Xcelerator is definitely going to be down. As to crowds, I don't it'll be that bad; families usually tend to take their vacation away from their homes. But it won't be empty, either.
  19. Okay, but just because a ride is featured on a website doesn't mean that it's going to be the one that's going to be installed. How long was the pic up there, do you know? It if was recent (i.e. after announcement) then maybe it ties in with the new coaster.
  20. Hopefully. I like that ride quite a bit, and sometimes I splurge and take it for a spin.
  21. ^ I don't think Coastersaurus is made by Premier; according to RCDB, it's made by Gerstlauer.
  22. Oh, thank god Demon Drop was scuttled. I was absolutely horrified when I heard the news in the first place. Now, hopefully, Cedar Fair will put something thematically appropriate, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, longer than thirty seconds, fun, and good for the entire family. /dreaming...
  23. If they make it as half as good as Soarin' is, I'll be one happy coaster fan come 50th anniversary.
