I wouldnt exactly be suprised if they shipped the track to another park, Cedar Fair is know to spen a lot of money to theme things to concrete and pavement .

Anything Vekoma really, besides that Wildcat at Cedar Point is terrible, the ride ops actually tell you to hold on so you dont get hurt, i love the ride .

The trick track on Shivering Timbers is prety messed up, kinda hurt in the back too. But still awsome. X-Flight is just plain messed up and sickening, i couldnt walk straight for 15 minuets getting off the ride. Heres pics from my recent trip last weekend, a photo tr is comming, its finals at school so it might be the weekend. And if anyone was wondering, yes the holes in the wall are there for a "sneak peak" of the ride Another angle, near the exit of Thunder Canyon ??? ok the fun wore off, heres an xtreme close up of some random footer on the lake OMG THERES MORE!!!! Why didn't i know this? OMG ITS A FOOTER!!!!

They must of had some problems durring pre-season testing because on opening day it was broken for most of the time, then opened for like 2 hours right at sunset.

The track does look a little like X-Car track, which i wouldn't mind. They could take largest inversion away from the one that was just built in the U.S.

Well now that they put up the wall that means i have exclusive construction shots . I have thought about the track going somewhere else, and now that i really think about it it makes sense. When the infamous blue tarp showed up in the Gemini parking lot some people thought that it could be going to another park, but that went to Cedar Point. This track is in the Breakers Express lot, big difference. Remember Cedar Point is the HQ for Cedar Fair.

Very nice Photo TR and how did you get so lcuky that no one was there. The only time i have seen a park that empty is when i went to Marineland on the last day of the rides being open!

Not bad at all, TTD was about an hour, with two break downs. MF was about a half hour, Raptor 5 min, magnum 5 min, WT about 15.

Well heres my first Photo TR ever. This was a very spontanious trip, litterally i came down from my room and told my parents i wanted to go to Cedar Point as a joke, and we went with one of my friends. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to get there, so we got there about 2:00. We were going to go on Raptor first, but the line was an hour so we decided to come back to it and hit Dragster first. The line said an hour, so my friend and I decided to wait. The line would have been a half hour, but it broke down right after we got in line so we waited about an hour, and had a great ride. But i was very dissapointed with their "It will be ready for opening day". Next we went over to Millennium, it was broken. We talked to the ride op and he said he didn't know when it would open. So after having bad luck with rides, we went back to ride Skyhawk and OMG it's way better then i thought. It's extremly fun and has really good air time, my friend and i were laughing our heads off the whole time, really . We waited a half hour for it and it was worth it. If you go to Cedar Point this summer you have to get on this ride. When we got off we saw Millennium was open so we haulled ass over there and got on it in a half hour. It was great as always, nothing new about it except the changed the lap bars and some of the seat belts were shorter . Next we had dinner at the buffet place by Raptor(sorry i forgot what its called). It was good, great for park food standards. After that we walked out to try to get my friends season pass, the line for pictures was 4 hours earlier, this time it was 2 1/2. So after my mom complaining to them, we went back in and went on Raptor. I still love that ride even if it is old. By then it was 9:30 and the fireworks were going to start soon so we went out to the parking lot and watched them from the car. Overall it was a great day at Cedar Point, just a little cold. The launch, enough said. The train literally launched 5 seconds after my dad took this. Im in the orange. I got lucky with the timing on this one. I love how it swings straight up over the queue. Now for the construction photos the real reason you looked at this thread. I have more construction photos, i will update them in the Cedar Point 07 thread. Hmm i wonder what this means... Skyhawk at full swing. I love the logo on Skyhawk If you look closely, there 2 trains on Iron Dragon, one on Mantis, and one on Power Tower. mmmm... Millennium. Last ride of the day, Raptor (taken earlier obviously). And last the fireworks, hoped you like the Photo TR

Their past 3 coasters have been Intamin, the first being Millennium Force. So that means the past 6 years, nothing but Intamin.

It was down for a while, then the whole cable shredding 2 years ago i think.
