Valleyfair would definitely benefit from this scenario. Adter getting a coaster from Dorney it's highly unlikely that VF will get another one soon after that.

Why would CF sell a ride to a rival operator such as six flags? If CGA closes then the rides would be sent to other CF parks....at least the rides they want to relocate.

True,keep in mind the site that's hosting the poll is geared towards the average joe GP'er & not toward the enthusiast crowd that know about the existance of the other rides. One month till opening day!!! so who here's planning on attending? I plan to be there with my camcorder to get some decent opening day footage between rides.

G-Forces is not a problem at all! if you just make a gentle accelleration, the G-Forces will not be that extreme. I think the problem is in the launching system, they will need to be more durable and strong. Also the tracks needs to be stronger as well as the train and the trainwheels! And i think we are gonna break both the speed, - and height record some day! Just use a steep cable lift as opposed to a launch,granted both MF & I305 use a 45 degree lift I don't think it's be practical to use a vertical lift ala feranheit at HP for most installations though.Just for reference how steep is the lift angle on the B&M dive coasters?

I posted this when Invertigos removal was a rumor . now that its confirmed, I said it once and I'll say it again. THIS PARK IS DEAD. Sorry guys, no Maverick clone (that idea must have started while sleeping, farting and sneezing while on magic mushrooms...at the same time!) Why doesn't anyone get it? Sad to say that it looks like the writing's on the wall & CGA is destined to go the way of GL & SFAW...CF is in debt & needs the rides so they can relocate them to other parks for pennies on the dollar compared to buying new.I mean look at the invertigo relocation,seems like they're borrowing a page from the old SFI platbook & starting up their own version of the ride rotation program. If CGA does go under I call dibs on flight deck for KD.

Looks like they're using a new wheel compound as the road wheels are gray rather than blue like on 305.

Speaking of Grizz I was watching the Nova rollercoaster episode on youtube & noticed the ride had a black train in the video....now in all my years of riding this coaster the trains have always been yellow & orange.

More like can't they just rotate an older ride from another SF park? ohh wait they tried that before & failed cough ultra twister cough.

I second that as on none of my rides on 305 produced the slightest greyout/blackout sensation & I've ridden in several different rows(including the front) with no problems but backlot does kinda mess me up in the first helix...and that's running at a far lower speed than 305. Now I still say the extreme heat we had during the height of the 2010 season played more of a factor in wheel wear than the design of the ride layout.

Perhaps SOMEONE will bring up the question of why the park has been passed over for a coaster time & time again over the last decade & given an answer as to when the next major addition will be made at the park?

Anyone notice that the catwalks for the trims that once were on the camelback next to the lift have been removed?

True but CF didn't look around & say "ohh we can't have this ride in KI anymore when we have it at CP" it just doesn't work that way & if the ride is bringing in the crowds then that's what matters. Remember this is the chain that intends to move invertigo to a park that already has an invert & an impulse so stranger things can & have happened.

Anything's possible & CF seems pleased with KD's performance thus far,that & the park can use a few flats to round out their collection. About that whole "rising through the trees" bit dosen't space surfer(I refuse to call it flying aces) already fill that role?

Kings Dominion 2012 - Windseeker! Oh and this situation with sending Invertigo to Dorney Park (in my opinion) is just another stupid Cedar Fair decision... What makes you think KD will get a windseeker in 2012? it would make a great addition to their flat ride collection should it come to pass however.

Sounds like DP will get invertigo....which means if KD get's something new in 2012 it won't be that ride.

Well keep in mind that this is just what SFA was forced to do for years with JJ,they couldn't run it in october due to the noise...which was reduced during the summer months by the foliage on the surrounding trees.

So far nothing & darn it they removed the webcam completely from the site.
