  1. If a trip does go to a lottery, and we don't get in, then will we get our deposits back, or will you hold them so if people do drop out then we can get in?
  2. LOL. Fantastic report Natalie. I love the photo captions. Even the ones which are just pure cheese, I still laugh at. I want to go back in time.
  3. 1- Boulder Dash, Lake Compounce 2- Phoenix, Knoebels 3- Lightning Racer, Hersheypark 4- Goliath, SF Magic Mountain 5- Terminator Salvation, SF Magic Mountain 6- Talon, Dorney Park 7- Apollo’s Chariot, Busch Gardens Europe 8- Alpengeist, Busch Gardens Europe 9- Kingda Ka, SF Great Adventure 10- Xcelerator, Knott's Berry Farm Woop. Oh, and El Toro and SFNE's Superman weren't that great.
  4. Does nobody else think the sad clown picture is the funniest of the lot? And eugh at the pictures of me, especially in the pool. I'm really gonna need to brave up and use some kind of hair gel/products some day.
  5. Same here. What the hell's Kinley? Sounds like a good start to the trip. Not long to go now 'til the West Coast trip starts!
  6. That's pretty much exactly the reason why I've asked for longer shorts for the West Coast trip. Also, Rob, why aren't you leaning to the outside? Did you not hear the man who said it about a thouand times?
  7. My home park is technically Old Mcdonalds Park, which I've never been to.
  8. As much as you laugh, you've just got to feel sorry for her/him! Or should that be the other way around?
  9. Do you even know what Stealth looks like? Stealth is more like a miniature version of Kingda Ka. Xcelerator looks nothing like it: Xcelerator- http://www.rcdb.com/ig1574.htm?picture=7 Stealth- http://www.rcdb.com/ig3081.htm?picture=29
  10. Both of the pens I picked up on the ECT dried up a few months ago. Not long to go now until the WCT, so I'm looking to pick up plenty of pens then.
  11. Good stuff Robb... That CoasterBoy person didn't have a clue what to do! How old is he anyway?
  12. I don't see what how the question has anyhting to do with the Nash, but, mainly because I've too much time on my hand, I've decided to try it! My results where: After the first cut- One longer Moebius loop. After second cut- A small moebius loop with a long strip of paper no longer attached. Amazing stuff.
  13. I saw McFly at Alton Towers when they were doing their promotion thingy a few years back. Otherwise...Errrrrm... does Robert Alvey count as a "celebrity"?
  14. Edit: I should read to the bottom of the page. I reckon you're at home.
  15. En-ger-land na na! 23? 2 new rides opening in one weekend (Thorpe and Paultons Park). 3 new rides opening in the year. (Extra one being at Flamingoland). My guess is that Robb and Elissa have looked at the next CoasterForce-Live event, seen that their [least] favourite TPR-trip-participant ever is going to both Thorpe and Paulton on their new-ride-opening weekend, and couldn't resist a trip.
  16. I heard that Robb was going to take this challenge, get to the last few bites, but then pretend that he couldn't finish the challenge just so he can wear the small pink shirt!
  17. This doesn't surprise me at all. Even when I visited just after Knightmare opened (for the CF-Live), everything was all extremely tacky and poor, and in all honesty, I didn't even think it would last this long.
  18. Hercules, you'ld make a quality comedian!... I'm still kolding my hopes high for this to go to Alton Towers!
  19. -2g sounds like a pretty low gravitational force to me though...?
  20. In my opinion, SFA have a hell of a lot else to sort out before they should even consider investing in a new coaster of any sort, especially a B&M. SFA have about as much chance of getting this coaster as Blackpool has at getting that launched coaster that people have been going on about for years...
  21. "Some enthusaists claim that Steel Hawg's drop is steeper. Here's how Nick Buckley, Flamingoland's Operations Director, counters the claim: "Answer on the 120º issue is that Steel Hawg is actually 111º - the 120 was an early design, and the S&S marketing people weren't quite as up to date with the engineering people when that coaster was launched. Ours will be 1º steeper than Indiana beach."" Taken from: http://www.coasterforce.com/home/p2_articleid/645 There's also an explanation for the name on there, as well as images of the trains and layout. [/plug]
  22. Or it could stand for Surrey Central, meaning it's going to Thorpe Park!
  23. You've got less chance at winning the Lottery, but somebody nearly always does, so my hopes are still sky-high at Alton getting this B&M Mega/whatever coaster!
