Those few moments in the station, felt like minutes, and I swear to Buddha, I had the BIGGEST panic attack in my life! I honestly began to hyperventilate trying to fasten my seatbelt...NO JOKE AT ALL! It was so intense...thank goodness, Robb said "CALM DOWN!" I was about to give up! Chris is right though...the moment my seatbelt fastened, and everyone in the station cheered, the trip was 10 times better. I am now on the Dr. Robb Alvey's SEX and WATER diet. SERIOUSLY!!! That was the ONLY time on the trip that I got scared! Even Top Thrill didnt scare me as much as that stupid pink waterslide! I saw my life flash before my eyes, and I thought "Really?! I'm gonna die on a pink waterslide...how fitting!?" But then when I was done...I was like HELL YEAH!!! Mind you...this trip was the first time that I have ever been to a water park...and it rocked! Rode Sierra Sidewinder on Wednesday May 30th, and had the pleasure of experiencing a downtime! I was sitting in the last row of the train, staring down the lift for 20 minutes! I must admit it was a bit scary. A Knott's Employee came to talk to us on the lift...he told us that this was the first Downtime they have had involving guests...we then asked if they were going to try and evacuate us...which BTW...was kinda of freaking me out! The angle combined with the direction we were facing would make an evac difficult and in my opinion dangerous. Needless to say we finally made it over the lift hill and experienced the ride...it was a fun ride. I would totally do it again!

YAY! Minnie's is the best CM event we have at the DLR! It is such a blast! The best thing about it is the fact that we get to share the experience with our family and friends too! I am soooo glad that you had the opportunity to experience it, because I knew you of all people, would appreciate it! How dare you?!?!? Too Cool?! I think that is impossible with how much of a Disney dork I am...NARF! My team always consists of family members, and they get sooo stoked to be involved. I was honestly jealous when I heard who was going to be on your team...and then I thought...they are totally going to beat us...but I remembered it was all about fun for my family! YEAH!!! I found TPR several years ago, because I was a dork and I was looking for videos of Roller Coasters. At the time I had been spending lots of time on thrillride.com looking at pictures and stuff, and reading Ride Reports...my hunger for coasters grew, and I wanted to see videos of coasters in operation...so I googled Roller Coaster Videos....and luckily found TPR. I lurked forever! When I started working at Screamin', I realized that it wouldn't be long before I saw Robb and Elissa in the park. One day I was working the unload position when I looked over at the queue and I recognized Wes. I thought "Hey, thats Wes!" and then I noticed Robb, Jeff and Derek (Elissa was sick ) ...and I thought "Holy Sh*t!, they're here!" I realized I had 36 seconds to figure out some way to say hi! So, the train came into the station everyone loaded and as I checked Robb's restraint(Like a big dork!) I said "Have a good ride Mr. Alvey!" Robb gave me this really confused look, and I continued on and dispatched the train. I felt really dumb, and my co-workers were like who was that guy...and after explanation of who Robb was, and a glimpse into my coaster dorkiness...they were like "You're weird Chuck!" What was worse, is that I had 3 minutes before the train returned to the station...What was I gonna say then!? Robb actually approached me and said "Hey, Are you a member of the site!?" I said "Yes! I am a huge fan!" The rest was history! That happened in November of 2005. Needless to say, I am no longer a lurker! And I still heart TPR!
