  3. ^ I'm willing to bet that some families were equally displeased.
  4. Yes Are you a people person?
  5. I'll Sue Ya - Weird Al
  6. I've noticed the Elissa bingo sheets in the East Coast / Behemoth trip thread. I remember seeing them on past trip reports, and I just really want to know when it was made up and who came up with the idea. Thanks.
  7. What about something similar to Gravity Max. A Vekoma Tilt coaster is vertical without being a B&M Dive Machine, so I'm not going to rule it out.
  8. It's not really spam in this thread. He's got to have done something wrong in the past if the Title Fairy picked up on it.
  9. They shrink and become miniature Black Holes. http://www.walken2008.com - What's the worst that could happen?
  10. Shockwave at Drayton Manor. For saying it's an Intamin, this thing really gets you during the Corkscrews / Zero G Roll.
  11. It just seems to me that Intamin's coaster types aren't for the most part, all that different. Hypers and Gigas are different coasters and I'll give you that, but like I said they're not really changing anything except for height and scale. Their Launched coasters main difference is car design, (except of course their "accelerator coasters"). They have a great selection of coasters, the World still needs more complete circuit Intamin suspended coasters. I just really have more faith in B&M's ingenuity. It took a lot of research and dedication to come up with the Inverted Coaster and the Dive Machine. They had to redesign track structure and trains for both ideas. They both do have lots of designs but B&M's are really quite different to each other, whereas Intamin's can be similar with some small difference or gimmick added on. That's just my opinion anyway.
  12. Congrats, I guess. I'm just posting to comment on the irony of that last post.
  13. ^ Couldn't agree more. POV's are great because you need them to get a full idea of the ride. They can't put perspective on feeling though, a few seconds drop on a POV looks kind of dull when the real drop is breathtaking for all you know. Offride footage definately gives a sense of scale to the ride. I do not prefer On or Offride footage but both together make an interesting and fun video.
  14. I like some of the very exotic sounding names like Sheikra and Kingda Ka. Even though Kingda Ka doesn't mean anything it's a very unique sound. PS: Oh and yes Laser Snake Horse on Fire would be good. But to live up to that, sections of track would have to be soaked with petrol and ignited every ten minutes or so and their would have to belasers shooting from the Snake-Horse shaped cars. Give it ten to twenty years.
  15. I'm gonna be boring and say they're even, but for different reasons. B&M: Innovative always trying new concepts that pay off and look as great as they ride (It's hard not to watch a dive machine car topple). Great reliability, great riders per hour and like Intamin, really smooth. Intamin: Willing to break records but not design. As a different way of phrasing, if they were chefs they'd bake bigger cakes but wouldn't change the recipe, not that it's flawed. They're just not as experimental, although the ball coasters might mean this can change. Really smooth, good reliability, not so much with their launches, which may be why B&M stay away from that area. Intamin gain a lot of extra points for building rides that aren't coasters too. Their flat rides are second to none, their Giant Drops, Gyro Swings and Mega Splashes are equally awesome.
  16. ^ Yeah, the advert on youtube has the coaster builders finding a box that contains ghosts or anthrax or something nasty. Not too similar to the Saw franchise.
  17. I didn't know we were a team.

  19. By ferry What happens when an Unstoppable Force meets an Immovable object?
  20. I was really surprised at Drayton Manor when I saw that the Human Drier (Infra-red warming booth) had a longer line than some small flat rides.
  21. That sentence is one of the best things you can hear in connection to a new coaster.
