I don´t think that this would be your opinion if you would have to pay the price for gas, the average european has to pay! Example: Today´s gas price in Munich: 1 Liter Premium unleaded= 1,21 Euros, that means: 1 Gallon Premium unleaded = 1,21 Euros x 3,78 = 4,57 Euros, that means: 1 Gallon Premium unleaded = 4,57 Euros x 1,32 = 6. 03 US $!!! -

My dear Title-Fairy, Thank you so much for the custom Title! By the way, I love your sarcastic sense of humor! Greetings from out of the hot kitchen office in foggy and frosty Germany, Gerd

Hell´s Kitchen is a really amazing enter- (or edu-) tainment format. Also it´s ashaming, when you can have a look in professional kitchens that look like never have seen a cleaning before or you see all this rotten food stuff they have in their fridges, you can even see how hard it is to work as a chef and to run a restaurant, to work at the hospitality at all! About Gordon Ramsay himself, I can only say: CHAPEAU!!! That man had a dream of being a professional football player, was very sucessful in the beginning but his football-career took a sudden end caused by a knee-injure. Then he paid fullest attention to his culinary education, after being chef in several High Class restaurants, Ramsay opened his own restaurant in Chelsea, Gordon Ramsay at Royal Hospital Road in 1998. The restaurant gained its third Michelin star in 2001, making Ramsay the first Scot to achieve that feat. Imagine that: Three Michelin Stars in only three years!!! AMAZING!!!!! ...and Gordon once said some true words in his Magazine "The F-word": "It's enough to make anyone turn f...... vegetarian, for God's sake. And I've always sort of knocked vegetarians and vegans for missing out on the most amazing flavour you can get from meat."

That´s a very mean way to tell somebody those news. Isn´t there the possibility to submit judicial steps? Here in Germany, a dismissal is not final until it´s pronounced personally or in formal writing by registered letter. I´m awfully sorry for both of you. Gerd

That´s no guilty pleasure, that´s TOTALLY AWESOMENESS!!!! Spanish Flea is cult on Student-Night-Partys at our local University! When you are just a little offense and you hear that song, you have to dance. The same is with "Whipped Cream Whipped Cream" and "Green Peppers".

Great TR, great pics, thanks for posting. The new Camaro really looks kick-a$$. Why do you have such an aversion towards the Smart, it´s a really good concept, and they sell quite good here in Germany, mostly as a familia´s second car for the moms or for students. They are very agile, don´t need much parking space, don´t need much fuel and have a very low insurance. I bought two as company cars two years ago, put a big ad on its side and everybody loves them to drive, they are the perfect downtown-car! -
Oh, believe me, that TR would´nt be so fabulous as you think! That´s a average day in the life of Gerd M.: 7.00 am - Get´s up, takes a shower, needs a gallon of espresso, dresses for the company. 8.15 am - He (or his wife) brings the kids to the kindergarten (after a half hour debate with his 4 yr. old daughter why Kindergarten ISN`T a boring piece of sh..! (I wonder who teaches her all that bad language!) 9.00 am - Arrives at the restaurant, has another gallon of coffee, hides behind the garbage-containers to have his first cigarette of the day. 10.00 am - Is ready with all that administratively stuff like signing checks, ordering grocery and beverages, tablecloths and uniforms, listen to the stories of the waitress who is been left by her boy for the 3rd time this week..., and goes to the kitchen, where he´s preparing lunch until 2.00 pm. 2.15 pm - Returns home, has a snack with his family has a little sleep or enjoys his 2 hours off. 4.30 pm - Is at the restaurant again! Has a nervous breakdown because of: a: - The booked DJ for tonight missed his flight and he needs a new DJ within the next 2 hours. b: - His sous-chef is soooo sick! (That means double work for Gerd, Horray!) c: - His parents are at the restaurant and, oh wonder, complain about why he doesn´t give them more visit´s... d: - The afternoon-concierge gave ONE table for TWO reservations at the same time for some very special and important guests! e: - The stuff he ordered in the morning because he needs it ´VERY URGENT for the Dinner-service hasn´t been delivered. f: = a + b + c + d + e !!! 5.00 pm ´til round Midnight: Works his ass off in the hot kitchen and dreams of a cold drink at a cozy beach! Monday to Thursday: Midnight: Rushes home, takes a shower and falls asleep (I must admit, in summer, I take my little black toy and enjoy the empty Autobahn at night before I go to bed!) Friday & Saturday: Midnight `till 6 am: Changes his Outfit, heads over to his Club where he has to smile and gives Compliments to guest, even if he already can fall asleep while standing! 6.15 am: Is nearly half dead and just falls into his bed! ...and on Sunday, he´s just a Family-man who tries to spend the whole day with his wonderful wife and his two children, that he loves more than all words in the world could ever express! ...Coaster enthusiasts, car enthusiasts and food enthusiasts!! Horray! I´m Finally at home !!!

^ + ^^ Thanks for the moral support, guys. I was a bit down after that, because you have to know, I´m not a boss who fires his employes because of every little piece of shit that happens. Nobody is perfect, we are all just humans. But I could´t life with the fact, that somebody messes with the health of my children, that was really a bit to heavy to be tolerated! ...so, but now I should better rush back into the kitchen and prepare myself for the Dinner-service!

Thank you! really great stuff. Just downloaded Tonic´s "Lemon Parade" ("If You Could Only See" is awesome, my wife enjoys it too, even she´s more in electronic music!) and "Vertical Horizon - Everything You Want" is just awesome! ...oh my god, I really should start working again instead of downloading music-stuff! Thanks again! -

I must admit, here in Germany Sister Hazel is VERY, VERY unknown, so I just had a first look on at "Youtube" and I have to say: That´s really good music. After a short look at "Amazon.DE" then the heavy trhuth: You can´t get those CD´s at Germany, only via extremely overpriced import. ...I just have the Itunes download running.
