YES!! My computer is okay!!!!!! It died this afternoon and literally EVERYTHING disappeared from it, I was a total mess! But it's back, it's working, everything's fine except it's making weird noises... But I didn't lose everything!! This weekend I'm actually gonna start backing up so I don't have to panic so much if this happens again.

One thing I've noticed that's only been happening since the new posting box experiment... When I click the little orangey page symbol that takes you to the newest post in a thread, instead of taking me to the specific post, it takes me to the top of the page that the newest post is on, if that makes sense. It actually doesn't bother me seeing as I always read a few posts up to refresh my memory anyway, but I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing?

I never think of Britain as being expensive until I actually look at/hear people talking about the price of things overseas. I guess because we're just used to paying what we do for things, it doesn't seem a big deal until you actually start comparing things. As for it being difficult to get around... Local public transport here (as in Manchester, I can't speak for other areas) is very good, it rarely bothers me that I can't drive as I can always get where I need to go on a daily basis with no problems. However, getting to out-of-the-way places can be very tough, and often expensive, hence my limited experience of many of our theme parks, it's just too pricey and complicated to get to a lot of places. Hence my being on the trip in June... I do kinda think comparing coasters/parks in different countries is slightly pointless, as was discussed in a USA vs Europe thread fairly recently, as there are good and bad parks on both sides of the pond. I personally think that in a lot of cases, the grass is always greener, things always seem more attractive from a distance. It's gone from this thread now, but it appeared in another one before and then went away again. Did you see it before I edited? I'm now getting this one on a couple of other threads: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: bbencode_second_pass() in /home2/themepar/public_html/forum/includes/functions_calendar.php on line 431 I'm also getting a lot of "Cannot open page, no data available to load from that location" errors (sorry, didn't copy and paste that one so I'm paraphrasing) when I try and post. Seems to be fairly random, it'll be there, then I'll go look at a different thread and come back, and it's gone, and the thread works fine. *shrug* Not a big deal, just wondered if it was related to the problems you mentioned in this thread.
