  13. You have to go to SDC. The whole park just feels so completely themed, the rides are awesome, and it has a cave. Oh yeah, the food is great too. Just make sure to ride PK a few times. Wait. I haven't been to DW. I shouldn't even be advising you.
  14. I rode it like a month ago, but never got around to reviewing it, so here goes: Maverick is sort of like a buffet. You get nearly EVERYTHING on the ride. The two best parts of the ride are speed and airtime. The coaster feels quite fast, from the lift hill (I actually consider this coaster's lift to be an element) all the way to last banked turn. The airtime is excellent, and the first drop gives you a lot of it. The canyon transitions and stengels are good and bad at the same time. They're fun, but your head will get knocked around in the restraints a little bit. My main problem with this was ear discomfort, though some people will probably have neck trouble. The tunnel launch is strange. The acceleration isn't forceful like TTD, but you feel very exposed. There are two Elements full of heavy positive G's, and although it might not be enough for some people, it was enough for me. Overall, a great ride, with lots of airtime, speed, and general fun. (Not withstanding the earbanging, however)
  15. Punk, pop-punk, alt-metal, alt-rock, industrial rock (just one band for the industrial rock, and I think you know which one). Band examples: Rage Against the Machine Fall Out Boy 30 Seconds to Mars Nine Inch Nails Sublime Rise Against
  16. Silver Dollar City. I rode wildfire 10 times in a row once, and Powder Keg was my first coaster with a 100+ foot drop.
  17. Meh. I'm 13, I can't exactly go buy a plane ticket, or theme park admission by myself, can I? done: Cedar Point x2 coming:Six Flags St. Louis.
  18. The only scary piece of TTD is the launch. After you get used to the launch and are coasting up, it isn't scary anymore. It just goes too fast to be, and the curves are too wide. And if you're worried about the drop, my dad thought mf was too intense, because the airtime on the drop made the blood rush to his head, and he loved TTD. Trust me, a good run on MF is way scarier.
  19. Hi, ikari. ... Now...To the TR... Abismo looks awesome. How's its heartline roll? Wait...a spinning coaster and an intamin invert as well? This park looks worth visiting...
  20. Good TR. Very informative. Maverick's awesome, of course, but I noticed the earbanging (if I may coin the term) as well.
  21. Yah, I love Powder Keg. It was my first coaster that was 100+ feet tall. The first drop is topped (in my small experience) only by Maverick and Millenium force. The airtime on PK is also great, but easier to feel than Maverick's, cause of the lap bars.
