The Official "Animal Crossing: Wild World" Thread!
Lord Turbine replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
w00t! Robb and Elissa are on my friends list! I just got this game yesturday, can't get enough. I have nothing to do in the town, but it doesn't get boring, strangely. *runs to town gate, remarks how easy it is to do stuff with touch screen* Name: Turbine Friend Code: 2835-2973-0112 Town: Vegas Check out the NES Controller Flag! And my NES controller shirt... and hat. I got 3D glasses from the Able Sisters just a couple minutes back... they're awesome. *looks for more bells* OH! By the way, I'll be officially on once I get my USB connector, at which point, I'll say so. -
Eh... could care less. Did you get what gifts you wanted?

It basically is. It's built on all reclaimed land and there isn't really any "outside world" that can be seen from inside the park. It's kind of nice..... --Robb Yeah, that's what I thought. I love how Walt was trying to build a "land of imagination" but now, the "imagination" is limited to "How come the castle's so small?" or "Why are there so many buildings here?" or "What's with that hole in the roof?" I have to get to an Orlando park one of these days. I lived in FL for 2 years, never went to WDW. Stupid, stupid, stupid... but I was a kid... but stupid, stupid, stupid...

So that's it! Heck, even that light dwarfs it! Very very small castle. In fact, I haven't been to DLR since I was much smaller, so I thought it was okay size back then. Last time I was there was in '98, so maybe when I go back in February I'll finally realize how damned small it is. For now, all I have are pictures.

If Robb and Elissa ever actually have a baby, it'll be when I actually get a date, my brother stops being an idiot, and Six Flags destroys Psyclone. All 3 of those things are just as unlikely.
-
^*hugs iPod nano* ...yes. Do you play online games?
-
Is it just me, or is the castle smaller than ours, ours meaning DLR... I'm serious. Freakin' small. But anyway... WEEE, ASIA FUN TIME! Personally, I would love to go to Asia, just to see the oddities... and the cool vending machines. Probably after I finish my road trip around America, I'll head there.... in fact, ironically, my friend's in Bejing right now. He's there for the holidays.

It sucks that he quit, man. Sure, Mind of Mencia is good, but it's definately nothing compared to Chappelle's Show. Until he does something else, I have the DVDs and the enjoyable commentary tracks they hold. I'm a big fan of commentaries. That's why I hated the Team America DVD. What pissed me off was, they had that avertising last summer, and I was looking forward to the release of the new episodes and then nothing. Then they delayed it until February '06. If they delay it again, the only reason should be to make an actual 3rd season... but I don't think that's happening. I blame Viacom.

Pick N Mix Video #1 Contest Top 20!
Lord Turbine replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I voted. There was one in particlar I really liked. I was surprised, however, that I didn't see as many prank ones that I thought I would see. -
Definately I have. I'd have to say a couple of times. My first ride on X was the biggest. I wanted to go on that coaster so bad, yet I was freaked out about the rotating cars. Sure, I love the ride now, but I was scared the first ride. Also, my first ride on Viper was pretty bad, only because I was haunted by stories of whiplash and memories of Windsurfer. Third, my first ride on Xcelerator. I was strapped in and was scared of the launch. The way they make you wait there is awesome now, but I just wanted it to be over. Those are the only times. After those 3 experiences, I now am a more experienced coaster rider, therefore, I am not scared, nay, excited by new challenges.

Lord Turbine replied to coasterboi's topic in Random, Random, Random
^...excellent signature... anyway, that wasn't on the list, but a kick ass game none the less. I agree. But out of the list, COD:2. That is one Hell of a quality game. Go for it, dude. Plus, it's slightly related to Robb's game, Call of Duty: Big Red One, making it automatically awesome. -
No, but I did as a child. Are Oompa Loompas (the orange ones) kinda creepy?
-
Mmm... Fufu Berrry. Yes, I make gingerbread house. Last year, I did make one. Then I ate it. Then I drew tears on the gingerpeople out of frosting. Then I ate them. Then I baked a gingerbaby. Then I drew it crying. Then I ate off its leg. I baked an older version of the gingerbaby, now called Tom, an adult. I bit adult Tom's leg off because baby Tom didn't have a leg. I bit off Tom's other leg then I baked a gingerwheelchair. Then I had them roll into a mysterious cup. Then a milk tidal wave happened. Then I drank Tom. And the gingerwheelchair. And the milk sea water. Delicious, milky sea water. Was that story awesome?

Good pictures, but why does everything look like it was taken in the 1970s? How old is that camera?
-
No, because you didn't ask a question. Is Jones Soda awesome?
