  1. It's also worth noting that Magic Mountain has an all day flash pass (not electronic) in addition to the 4 ride flash pass which may speed things up there.
  2. ^Crikey, there's a "what would rides be like on the moon thread", I am so bumping that. I like sleep, and I love lamp.
  3. ^^Gee, we are being bitchy today, not worth a response.
  4. ^That would involve reducing your post tally by one a day right?
  5. Horizontal dancing. How many coaster geeks does it take to screw a lightbulb?
  6. No, I only do that at work, I hardly go on TPR at home. I was just thinking about how much you inspire me, Wes, to be a better man and make something of myself.
  7. 1994, I was back in Orlando in 2004 but I had limited time (1.5 days) so I did IOA/USH/Seaworld. When was the last time you went to a waterpark?
  8. Don't worry, TPR trips will still be on, and Tom Cruise will finally come out of the closet ("you can't ctach me gay thoughts!").
  9. I got about 6, wanted to go earlier but I got tied up with things.
  10. Crocs, these disgusting "shoes" should be banned, and anyone who wears them after that ban is implemented should have their feet cut off, with a blunt butter knife.
  11. Yes - cats, spring, commitment. Do you have a fear that can cripple you?
  12. You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC
  13. Rugby owns soccer downunder, played it, watched it, not my cup of tea.
  14. Dcody you rock, congrats. Looking forward to the sequel, Juno Versus Aliens and Predators.
  15. This makes me wish Robb was a Jedi so he could do the Jedi mind trick - hand gesture "you will get an Intamin pre-fab in 2009." You never know they might atcually get one, but my bet is probably another Dull Knight, er I mean Dark Knight coaster. On the whole I was really impressed, and hopefully things will keep on the up.
  16. What is your level of comfort with where Six Flags is financially as a corporation at the moment? Will Magic Mountain get electronic flash passes (like Great Adventure etc) in the future? What is the minumum percentage return on capital that parks need to have to continue to justify their existence or to at least fit your minimum profitability model? Where do you see the main areas that your competitors in the industry will be seeking to stand out in the market in the next 10 years and what are six flags plans?
  17. I did, a couple of midwest newbies made my top ten.
  18. Please don't rape and pillage the Indiana Beach I fell in love with last year, there's a lot of old school charm there so I hope they don't take that away.
  19. I just base my assessment on what I want to achieve at a park, typically I would have travelled at least 10,000 miles to get to a park, so I am happy to pay extra to achieve in a day what may have taken several days. It winds up saving me because I don't have to spend as much time on holidays and the attached expenses like accomodation or I cxan cram in more things on a holiday. I'm 100% for, it turned what would have been a typically hideous day at Great Adventure into a decent one, gold q-bot - worth every cent.
  20. Radio Nowhere - Bruce Springsteen
  21. Because Karma is jealous. Why is rap spelt with a silent c, as in ©rap?
  22. EBL wrote: This is the only forum I read, I'm not like a coaster geek. I must say Six Flags were great to us on the midwest trip last year. And to think on my first full day in the USA in 1992 I went straight to SFMM and was in awe of Psychlone, Flashback, and Freefall - oh wow, you go straight down. Viper was just huge back then, and Colossus actually was a colossus. I really hope this transformation goes well for them.
  23. Wow, awesome update Robb. X2 and Viper are looking rather spiffy these days. They do look like they are cleaning up their act, soon we'll be talking about Cedar Fair like they are Six Flags. Now if only SFMM would get an Intamin Prefab woodie and an SROS style hyper and then I'd never have to go to the east coast again.
  24. The illness you now have. What does ACE stand for, other than American Coaster Enthusiasts?
  25. People who cite an exception like it's the rule.
