Thanks! There's really no set timeline, it's loosely tied to our history, but right now the park is in the late 70s, early 80s. -

It's a good storyline, I just think the accident and sale happened too early in the story, I would've liked to see it grow as a family park and then transform into a corporate venture. The park still looks good though! -

I'll get on that then, I wish NF fountain's could be changed to red, but I tried using his blood fountain instead. Oh well, I'll adjust it and see how it looks for the second update! Thanks for the comments! -

Park Manager Roger Bryant helped plan out the entire even, moving last year's successful attractions around and adding a new walkthrough to scare guests. Mr. Illum praised Mr. Bryant for his work on the Haunted House, "Horror at the Hills". He commented "Last year all we had was a haunted walkway and some fog, this year the event was even better as the haunted house added even more fright to the night!." Mr Bryant added "We took many of the props from last year and out them into this temporary structure that we constructed quickly after the removal of the teacups, it came out better than I thought it would!" Both men hope to continue the even for years to come, making it bigger and better every year so it will become the premiere Halloween event in the area. Here is the photo update from the Fall! Looks good. I find taking the signs off at the front of the queues look much better and Dragonfly has such a good sign above the station, it renders it kinda pointless. Otherwise I think the park is coming along nicely! -

Thanks! Breaking the updates up into seasons helps me tell the story of the park better and gives it a little more realism. Like in the Spring update, the water rides won't be open and in the Fall I can do a Halloween update. I love making little changes in between updates because it makes it feel like I'm creating something more than just a game simulation. It's a lot of fun! I hope people will follow the story closely and watch what is said and what actually happens! -

Thanks, I was first hesitant to add the letters to the entrance, but now I'm glad I did! Park News: Mr. Illum has announced the return of Fall Fest. This time he promises an even scarier experience as he has built a temporary Haunted House called "Horror at the Hills". A facade has begun to be constructed for the walk through attraction that will run until the end of Fall Fest which begins September 14th and ends November 3rd. "I'm making sure that your day will be filled with thrill and your night full of fright!" added Mr. Illum. When asked whether this temporary attraction could become permanent, he replied "I don't have the necessary permits and such to keep it as a year round thing. In the future I may look into building one, but on a grander scale, I love haunted houses!" Here is a promotional picture courtesy of Mr. Illum. -

Illum Hills: Summer, Year 2 Sun:12pm-10pm Mon:10am-10pm Tues:10am-10pm Wed:10am-10pm Thurs:10am-10pm Fri:10am-11pm Sat:10am-12am Ticket Prices: Adult General Admission: $15.00 Child General Admission:$8.00 Spectator:$7.00 Under 3: Free Season Pass: $40.00 Attractions: Eagle's Nest Pioneer Super Swinger Wonder Wheel Galaxy Teacups (Removed End of Summer) Grand Carousel Double Take Dino Run Scramble Animal Exhibit(Year 2 only) Lumberjack Falls Park News: A strong start to the season was strengthened by an even busier Summer season. Attendance increased dramatically and extra staff was hired to handle the crowds. Lumberjack Falls garnered positive reviews from everyone that rode it and lines sometimes were in excess of an hour for the flume. The expansion of the park has gone over great as Dino Run and Scramble have been very well received by parents and families alike. The Animal Exhibit has also proved very popular with parkgoers. Mr. Illum was asked whether he was considering making it a permanent part of the park, he responded with "Even though I love the Animals and the crowds enjoy watching them, they are too costly to keep and maintain with permits and groups doing surprise inspections all the time." In other news, Mr. Illum said he was looking for investors in the park to keep up with the costs. He has advertised across many state papers and has brochures circulating around the state. "Attendance is great, but the revenue still hasn't broke even with the expenses. I really don't want to have to sell the park, I want to keep it in the family." When asked whether any big park operators had approached him with any offers, he replied "I have had some, I won't reveal any of the details of their offers, but right now I'm not interested in selling the park at this time." At the end of the Summer season, Mr Illum announced the departure of the park's Teacups ride. When asked why, he replied "I love the TeaCups, but it was starting to have some operational problems and the ridership was very low compared to other attractions in the park. The ride is in a high traffic area but inthe month of June, it had no riders whatsoever. I feel that we should put a better ride that appeals to more people." Here is the Photo Update from the Summer! The entrance building received large letters with the Park Name Looking down toward's the Lumberjack Falls area The TeaCups sit empty in the busy Summer season Looking out from Pioneer's control Panel The Animal Exhibit is very popular Even when the Animals are sleeping Artsy shot of Wonder Wheel Walking in the park TeaCups closed off and landscaping removed Scramble is a hit with crowds Skyview is getting its interior redone for next season according to Mr. Illum TeaCups totally removed with a concrete slab left Looking towards Double Take from the Carousel A construction wall is put in place around the TeaCups, what will go there? Fall Year 2 is coming soon! -

No! I welcome the suggestion, I even tried to see if I could put some custom supports onto the wooden coaster tonight, but trying to remove the old supports was such a pain that I gave up! Props to you for having the patience to do so! I'm going to practice at that though for my future park projects though I'm very happy with the response to the park so far and please, if you have a comment or criticism, don't be afraid to say it! I'm always looking for ways to improve! On another site, someone asked if this would be downloadable at some point. I've thought this over and decided to make a download available at the end of Season 3. Most of the park is built with custom scenery, so I will list the necessary sets that are needed to display all of the buildings. Again, thanks for the responses and I look forward to continuing this park and watch it grow and change over time! -

I know, I know. But I don't have as much time as I used to. I have Steelworx and other supports sets, but I just don't have the time to use them as much as I'd like. I will be custom supporting my steel coasters though , so no worry there -

Thanks everyone, your support makes me keep going! I used to be an RCT2 person too, but I slowly worked with RCT3 starting in the Fall and I started out with a wooden coaster and it grew into this park! Here's an exclusive look at the park's newest attraction, Lumberjack Falls! Layout and theming After the first lift the boats travel through this building Then go through a turnaround inside another large building At the top of the drop! A big splash soaks everyone! And returning into the station. A curious public waits for their first ride! -

Seems like you two are the only ones interested in the park! Steffen, thanks for the suggestion, I know exactly how I can work that into the park's storyline! I've found what makes the pics load so slow, they were saved in PNG and the new batch I saved in JPG, so they'll load much faster. I may replace the older ones later tonight, but that may take too much time. Thanks! -

Illum Hills: Spring, Year 2 Park Owner: David Illum and Family Park Manager: Roger Bryant Park Opening Date: April 1st, Year 2 Park Hours (Spring): Sun:10am-7pm Mon: Closed Tues:Closed Wed:Closed Thurs:Closed Fri:4pm-9pm Sat:10am-10pm Ticket Prices: Adult General Admission: $15.00 Child General Admission:$8.00 Spectator:$7.00 Under 3: Free Season Pass: $40.00 Attractions: Eagle's Nest Pioneer Super Swinger Wonder Wheel Galaxy Teacups Grand Carousel Double Take New Attractions for Year 2: Dino Run Scramble Animal Exhibit(Year 2 only) Lumberjack Falls(Opens Memorial Day, Year 2) Park News: After a great first season, Illum Hills has opened back up for it's second season! A whole new park section has opened up complete with a kiddie ride, a Scrambler ride, a new gift shop with bathrooms to replace the old ones, an Animal Exhibit for the season, and the new Log Flume! Construction went smoothly and was completed by the third week of March. The staff was enthusiastic in training for the anticipated larger crowds and the papers ran articles about the small little park's opening for the spring season. Mr. Illum said in an interview "Thank you to everyone that made our first season a success, we are happy to reopen and provide thrills and excitement for our 2nd season! Our biggest new attraction will not be ready until Memorial Day, but I assure you that the wait will be worth it! The summer is shaping up to be very busy, so I'm hiring more and more staff to deal with the crowds. Unfortunately I had to take out another loan to pay for the additions and maitenance, but with how popular the park has become, I'm sure I can keep up with the debt." Spring in Review The spring season went remarkably well. Park attendance was very high, seeing an average of 1500 guests a day. Many of the rides performed well and didn't break down often. Double Take was having some trouble on April 26th, when the brakes wouldn't released, but the skilled mechanics fixed it quickly and the ride was back open for the evening hours. Pioneer has been holding up well, but it will need retracking in the offseason to combat roughness in some spots. Lumberjack Falls was testing when the park was closed, but no photos were provided by the park. The grand opening is on Memorial Day and already advance tickets for it are coming close to selling out. The Animal Exhibit has been very popular, drawing long lines every day the park was open. Mr. Illum said he may keep it for next season, but the land it sits on is reserved for next year's attraction, but the planning stages are early so it may change. Here is the photo update from the Spring! The line to get in for opening day was long! Good to see Double Take again A nice view of the park from DT's entrance ramp (I am aware of disappearing walls!) Yeah! We're all going to die! The swings weren't too busy The entrance into the new section Landscaped to the max More landscaping and parts of Lumberjack Falls visible The new section with Dino Run and Scramble, the Animal Exhibit is off to the right The section is very striking when night falls Lumberjack Falls awaits its Memorial Day opening Lining up for an evening ride on Pioneer The public loves it! Summer Year 2 is coming soon! -
I know Dubai seems like a great idea to build a park because of it's big economic boom, but I really wish Six Flags would concentrate on it's parks in the U.S. instead of building a new park. However, I do see Dubai as a possible good source of income for Six Flags but with so many other companies opening parks there, I'm just not sure.

The public show space is small, but they can get their exercise out back! I'd rather not get a letter from PeTA, even if they are virtual animals -

This park is awesome! It has such a nice charm to it that it reminds me of Knoebel's in a way. I can't wait to see more, just keep everything spread out, that's what makes it look so good to me!
