For those of you who got a flyer from Great America in the mail today know that there is going to be a new thrill ride for next year. It looks like yet another flat ride. Great America NEEDS coasters desperately! I won't be going back until they put in another coaster or 2 to make up for Stealth & Greased Lightnin. What are your opinions?

Probabably SFDK this year, if not then SFMM or Cedar Point next year.

Stealth in 2000 & Invertigo in 1998 at Great America.

I love them both. Theyre both equally fun! 2 of the most high tech coasters out there you CAN'T miss! They certinally top my list.

It was a real fun ride. I miss it, but you can ride it on youtube whenever you want!

Big Thunder, Disneyland. I love it. Its one awsome mime train!

For me: NONE. How pathetic. I refuse to go to Great America because it sucks. Hopefully in December I'll get to SFDK otherwise I'll have to wait until next summer. I'm going crazy since I haven't been on a coaster this year.

I can't decide between Medusa & V2 at SFDK. Theyre both my favorite. All the ones at Great America suck.

Can someone describe it?

Has anyone stayed in a cottage at Lighthouse Point? I'm thinking of staying there.

Is the weather good end of June? & how are the crowds end of June on a Tues & Wed? & which coaster should I go on first Maverick or Millenium Force or Top Thrill Dragster?

GA could put something where Greased Lightnin used to be or in the Imax building. I REALLY hope Cedar Fair sees the kind of coasters GA has & will do something about it since GA lost the two best rides in the park Stealth & Greased Lightnin. I'm not going back until GA adds at least a couple good coasters.

I will be going to Cedar Point for the first time next summer. I plan on going during the week & spending 2 days there. Any suggestions? - where to stay (on property), ect. THANKS!

NO WAY! The most painful ride EVER. I don't miss it at all. I'm glad its gone. They need to bury GAs Grizzly on top of Physclone.

Does anyone here think Great America is booring? I certinally think so. The roller coasters are so small its pathetic. Compare them to Magic Mountain. I'm that tired of going to Great America that I didn't go at all this season. In fact I haven't even been on a roller coaster yet this year. Maybe I'll call it the worst park in the chain.

What are the two new family rides in Thomas Town? Just what SFDK needed. Yet another kiddie section when its already got Looney Tunes Seaport, and Tavas Jungleland. How about another thrilling SFMM type of coaster? Medusa, V2 and Boomerang are the only good coasters at SFDK. Kong is AWFLE. Roar is not very good. I'd rather ride the Grizzly at GA.

Islands Of Adventure is turning The Lost Continent into a Harry Potter land for either this year or next year. Where are the new coasters/flat rides? When will IOA get the rumored Jurassic Park flying coaster? IOA doesn't need new lands/shows. What it needs is RIDES! After all its been open since 1999 and nothing new has been added. All the rides are state of the art, but I'd like to see more!

What is the most memorable coaster ride you've ever experienced? Mine was at Disneyland last Summer when I went on the new Space Mountain for the first time. I got to sit in the front row. You can see everything and it feels faster up front. It was unforgetable. Plus its the best ride picture I have!

So as of now X is currently not running? I hope it will be when I go there in July or August because I was going to ride Tatsu first, but will X still have short lines if I go on Tatsu first thing?

Do you think SFMM is getting a new coaster in 2008 since they took out Physclone and Flashback? What was Flashback like anyway? I never got to go on it. It looked fun.

The new V2 colors clash with Kong. I think I liked the old colors better. They have got to get rid of Kong! Along with Grizzly at GA. I would rather have Zonga than Kong. Kong has got to be the worst inverted coaster ever. Instead of adding another new kiddie land Thomas Town Discovery Kingdom should invest in coasters which it really needs along with Great America. But, the new signs look nice. I'll probabably go at least once because I like V2 and Medusa oh and the 2 water rides and Boomerang.

67 times??!! Without getting off? That must be a world record! The most I ever rode Greased Lightnin was 8 times in a row. I felt sick! I sure do miss it though, but I suppose V2 at Discovery Kingdom is just as good even though they had to modify one of the spikes because of the hight limit. I'm sure the other one at SFGA is better because both spikes go straight up.

My all time favorite is Full House. I've watched it until it got canceled in 1995, reruns on various stations, and today I buy the DVD's and still watch it.
