In the United States YES! Thats the only one left along with the SFKK Greazed Lightnin that are both Tidal Waves from GA & SFGA.

I so agree about those 49ers. They have a perfectly fine stadium where they are now. Think of all the traffic problems it would cause if they move next to Great America & they would take up all the space for future coasters!!! Back to Tidal Wave-theres some great pictures over at greatamericaparks.com that brings back all the great memories of a great coaster that once stood that we all miss.

I would so rather have Tidal Wave/Greased Lightnin instead of Survivor. It makes Survivor look like nothing. I miss it too much. I was shocked to see it gone. My favorite ride in the park. I rode it 8 times in a row w/o getting off. Anyone ride more times in a row?

I live in Burlingame, CA, so the closest city to me would be San Francisco.

They both scare me, but the rides could be better. There is a Jurassic Park 4 coming out for sure either next year or 09. I'm sure its next year. IOA might get a Jurassic Park flying coaster thats been a rumor at screamscape forever. I hope it comes true!

I've always liked the Beach Boys. I saw them in concert twice-both in Lake Tahoe. Once in 1992 & once in 1999 & I've seen them as guest stars on Full House.

It wouldn't be a boomerang. Why would GA put a boomerang in when they took out Greased Lightnin in 02 (The BEST coaster EVER along w/Stealth which are both greatly missed) & there is Invertigo & already a boomerang at SFDK. IF GA is getting a coaster for 09 & am soo excited already & plan to start going again in 09. Hopefully it will be something big!!!

Why can't GA be SFGA? Its sister park has alot of its original theme I think & rides: the Lobster(East River Crawler), Yankee Clipper(Ice Mountain Splash), the Wizzer, Triple Play, Fiddlers Fling, on & on! GA got totatally ruined! I believe SFGA is even getting yet another new coaster for next year. Oh no not GA!

That would be so cool if GA could get Batman & Robin: The Chiller from SFGA. (But different name of course). GA really needs it! They could put it where Greased Lightnin was. Maybe for 2009? I so hope so!

I can bet you SFMM won't be going anywhere. They know it will disappoint too many people including me since SFMM has many top roller coasters which most are the most thrilling of their kind & they are GIGANTIC! Plus it says over on Screamscape that Superman & Batman are getting new paint & SFMM is getting a Tony Hawk like SFDK (I think, but why would Six Flags put 2 Tony Hawks in 1 state?) PLUS SFMM is one of the top Six Flags parks & I read awhile ago that it got saved by the city.

I think its going to be a GREAT addition since SFDK lost Zonga, but SFDK keeps getting the different variations like V2 for instance they had to modify it because of the height limits. Doesn't SFDK have the best Medusa?

My first favorite is Popeye at IOA & my second favorite is the one at SFDK. I have been on Grizzly River Run at CA & I thought it wasn't very good. I didn't even get wet! I don't care for Grizzly River Run, but maybe it will be better when I go on it again.

I am 25 & my first coaster was the Matterhorn at Disneyland in May 1987.

Hey You at Carowinds give GA's Stealth back! GA needs it more than ever!

If I had to choose I would pick Six Flags because they really have some kick ass coasters at all their parks especially Magic Mountain!

I wish GA were SFGA instead. Maybe Cedar Fair will see GA's twin park & maybe hopefully someday bring GA back to like how it used to be or make it like SFGA or bring back all the great rides: Yankee Clipper, The Triple Wheel, The Edge, The Lobster, Greased Lightnin, Stealth. Or maybe Cedar Fair won't even care GA sucks & won't do anything about it but add rides GA doesn't need.

I don't care GA is getting a new ride. I didn't go at all this year & I'm not going back until they add 2 big coasters to make up for Stealth & Greased Lightnin. Come on Cedar Fair give us COASTERS! GA doesn't need anymore flat rides!!!

Could they be tricking us meaning it could turn out to be a coaster like Italian Stunt Job or Hypersonic or does thrill ride mean its really a flat?

Looked like an awsome coster. I've never even been to SFGA. I hope it goes to another park so I'll get to ride it! But is it a copy of Mr. Freeze?

I hate to say it looks like it will be a clone of Voodoo (at SFDK) based on the picture. I hate those kind of rides.
