  1. All I can say is, wow! Even the unfinished castle looks great. I like the blend of techniques in this park too. You have the generic feel in the rides, but you are giving them Disney quality. It sort of feels like what would happen if Disney were to buy out CF. I love it, keep up the good work!
  2. Ever since I've started working at Carowinds on Thunder Road, I have heard a lot, but I will just tell the best. Girl who has been riding both sides all day, "Does this ride go backwards now?" Yes, sure we turn the trains around halfway through the day. Guy looking at the track for Carolina Cobra, "That new coaster is a prototype." Woman looking at Flying Super Saturator after half of the track was removed and it was entirely fenced off, "Let's see if it's open!"
  3. ^ Actually, I like that idea. Maybe not have a roof over top of it, but have a wall behind it. Thanks! Update tonight, or tomorrow, don't know yet.
  4. ^ Trees are coming! I normally add trees last, just to keep things from getting too cluttered while I'm building the park. It just helps me lay everything out better. ^^ I know, Falling star's building is ugly. I knew that when I built it. I just couldn't think of anything else to do as I always have a certain amount I like to cover of the ride/ entrance to the ride, and with a ride like that I always like to have a hole in the roof for it to pop out of. I'll try to fix the building, if you have any suggestions about style for it, I'd love to hear it.
  5. Update! Thrill Zone received the addition of 3 new rides as well as an eatery and new landscaping on Explosion. This isn't much, but it's enough to hold you off for the next big addition! SCR15.BMP Of course, I end the update with a current overview. SCR13.BMP The awesome multicolored top of ETH. The different colors are supposed to represent different stages of flame. SCR12.BMP Here's the star of this update! A new 200 foot Intamin drop tower named, Elevator to Hell. Also pictured is the new eatery, Final Rest, selling pizza and drinks. SCR11.BMP The other new flat ride, Falling Star. not much to say here, moving on. SCR10.BMP Soar!, the new Hang Gliders. As a hint towards the next big addition, this won't be the only ride people will be flying on in the park. Also pictured are the new lake and fountain effects on Explosion.
  6. Interesting new train design. It might actually make for a good ride. Wish I could say that much about the ride's colors. Orange and light blue don't really go together. At least the logo is pretty cool.
  7. Thank you! The vending machines are actual attractions the guests can buy drinks from. I also have some that sell cookies.
  8. Wow, I guess I'm taking my time with this park. Here's a small update, not much but I'm still working on it. SCR9.BMP New overview! See you later! SCR8.BMP A better view at the nice, twisted layout. I've been told that the high speed turn against the ground will soon be over water. SCR7.BMP Wee, tophat! SCR4.BMP New Intamin launched coaster, Explosion! SCR3.BMP The new Top Scan, Shuriken. SCR2.BMP New vending machines as well as the new entrance to the first new area, Thrill Zone.
  9. Your parks are always so beautiful and realistic. I wish I had your skills with RCT3. Keep up the good work! To comment on the new coaster, looks really good. I especially like the small section you have over water, that's always a good thing.
  10. Oh wow, are you sure this is the same landscape you showed us a couple of weeks ago? Anyways, love the entry way! I can't wait to see how many rides you're going to try to cram on that little island. I love compact parks, and I seriously doubt this one will disappoint. Bring on the beautiful .
  11. Of course I'm going to post it for download. I have no clue where I've gotten all my cs from. When you download my park though, you should get all of what I use with it.
  12. ^^ The water tunnels are my thing. You will definitely be seeing some at the water rides once they are built. ^ I like my entry buildings being small because that allows you to pay more attention to the more important things such as when I build the theater in the park. Sometimes when you have a big entry building, it can make people overestimate you and get disappointed at what should be the bigger things. Well, here's update number 2! Please note, in the first area, I was going for conformity, but as you proceed on into the park you will see the transition from this conformity. Vibrant multicolored buildings will be coming . Anyways, onto the pictures! Before you say it, I know there needs to be more trees. SCR55.BMP Come back soon! SCR54.BMP Current overview. SCR53.BMP Please pardon our dust as we prepare to expand the park. SCR52.BMP Turn around. SCR51.BMP The rest of the track. SCR49.BMP It just looks like a lot of airtime . SCR48.BMP White Star! Following the tradition of having flashy PTC woodies at the entrance of the park, White Star does not disappoint. SCR47.BMP Or could it be The Burger Hut? No, it's... SCR46.BMP Is it the new Tilt-A-Whirl, or the new guest services building? SCR45.BMP Something's new here...
  13. It's been too long, so without further delay, I present Grand Central! Hi again! I've actually been hired by Razor now as official park photographer! Now let's get underway with what I'm payed to do. SCR44.BMP Okay, so that wasn't the last picture. I just wanted to show the amount of room available for construction. I can't wait to see how this park develops! SCR43.BMP Come back soon! SCR42.BMP That's a lot of water. SCR41.BMP Oh so pretty...
  14. That really sucks. I hope you recover soon. I've been in two accidents before, so I know what its like. I'll miss you being on almost every day. Get well soon.
  15. I'm going to go ahead and post my entry. Really a month is too long a time period to make one coaster. It makes you really anxious and could make you mess up and think about it too much. So, here is my entry- Night Shift! Challenge to End All Challenges.SV6 Night Shift SCR39.BMP One final overview.
  16. I have a little question, certain parts of my theming are right at the fence. Is it okay if some of the walls used on like my station take place of the fence or does the fence have to stay intact?
  17. Wow, I just love the level of detail you always put into your parks. I envy your skill in making everything so beautiful and realistic. Keep up the good work.
  18. Beautiful job well done on that theater! I can just see some old country hicks wearing suspenders and cowboy hats jumping out with a banjo and start belting out some bluegrass. Good job, can't wait to see the last 5 seasons.
  19. Well, I think I'm pretty much done with it. All I'm doing right now is playing around with the scenery a little. The layout is short and simple. The name of it is Night Shift. I can't think of a good story to put behind it, so as of now, it's just a ride through an abandoned factory. I can't decide if I should add custom supports or not. On one hand, they make the ride more realistic, on the other they take up a lot of extra space. SCR38.BMP Overveiw. SCR8.BMP Entrance.
  20. Hey, can I please join the competition? I know I'm sorta late, but this month's challenge I just can't refuse.
  21. It doesn't look like it's going to be too big, but of course I'm just guessing from that weird picture. How did you make that picture anyways? I like the large, what I'm guessing is a lake. It adds a neat element. You have my interest now. I just don't really know if you should do a real mountainous park again. What ideas do you have for theming? Good luck on the new park!
  22. Wow, I really wish I could do a trip like this, but there is no way I'd be able to afford it. Anyways, I really reccomend to not miss out on the Busch parks. They have great rides and great theming. BGE is one of my favorite parks. Also, do not forget about Sea World. Especially with them adding Manta next year, I'd make sure to use a day for SWO while you're down in Florida for WDW and Universal.
  23. Mine are Kraken, Kumba, and Montu with 7 each. I would list the elements, but I believe they have already been listed.
  24. Ok we were originally not going to do this trip and we were going to go to Niagara and stop at Cedar Point on the way. What made us change our minds was that we usually go to WDW every three years but before last year's trip it had been 5 so we made up for it this year. What drew me into the deal was the addition of BGA to our plans. First stop on our trip was Tampa. We stayed in town just about a mile from BGA in a really nice Embassy Suites. I could see Shiekra and Kumba from the hotel window. The best thing about the hotel was that they have a shuttle service that runs every morning from the hotel to the park. Overall opinion of the park: It is a very nice park. High quality as most of Anheuser Busch's parks are. The staff was very friendly and the crowds were very light. All of the coasters were walk on all day. The only thing that annoyed me was the weather, but hey it's Florida. I know you're tired of reading this by now, so onto the pictures! The next morning the shuttle picks us up from the hotel and takes us to the park. It's taking a while getting all these photos scaled down and uploaded so I'll stop here for now and focus on scaling them all down first. I'll try to have the big BGA update done later tonight. The veiw from our window. Shiekra and Kumba through-the-glare! Yay we're here! Welcome to the very nice and pretty Embassy Suites. Will it every stop? This quickly becomes the theme of any trip to Florida during the heat of the Summer. Yum, Florida's liquid sunshine... Wait, am I in the wrong state? Where's the sunshine? Yay, we're in Florida! The sunshine state!
  25. Good job with this, I really like how its going. Can't wait to see more. Keep up the good work!
