Since when is Oblivion noisy? I stood right next to it and it was pretty quiet. I think we need to give the old folks a trip to Universal and pitch them a tent near the Hulk coaster. Now that is pretty quiet!

I don't talk to people in line unless spoken to first. I can hear them in the background. I'm wearing a Florida Coaster Club t-shirt and they say stuff like, "Ohhh! He must like coasters" or "He must be a professional roller coaster rider!"

"Six Flags customer service" is an oxymoron. It should be "Six Flags customer dis-service!" When I go into a Six Flags park, I do lower my standards. I expect the employees' faces to look like they smelled a nasty fart! I think Six Flags Astroworld started to turn things around. The employees were pretty friendly and actually smiled! One reason why I enjoy going to Dollywood, Silver Dollar City, Universal Orlando, and Disney is not that they have a million foot high coaster or they have a gillion rides, but because the employees are friendly and want you to be there.

OK, why am I always picked on in these UK updates? Am I the Rodney Dangerfield of TPR?

I did two days at DLP, but I could have used an extra day. Disney Studios can be done in about a day. Disneyland Paris can be done in 1, but I felt like I was rushing through things. 2 might be give you a more lesiurely pace.

I was at Islands of Adventure yesterday to eat at Mythos. The Balsamic Chicken is back, but it tastes different (but it was still delicious). To my surprise, the bannana gooey cake was no longer offered as a desert! The server offered me desert shots, but they didn't look appetizing. I specifically asked if the bannana gooey cake was available and the server said it wasn't. I almost passed out! It's been on the menu since day one and now it's gone. *sniff* It was the best desert ever! *sniff* Like the Balsamic Chicken though, perhaps the bannana gooey cake will return in the future. The menu was good until July 1. I'm sure if someone mentioned this on the DIS Boards, there would be a sugar riot.

Great TR! It seems like you drank more beer than rode coasters! At the Cedar Fair parks I've visited (except for Cedar Point), the parks seem really dead on all other days except for Saturdays. I remember visiting Dorney Park on a Saturday in July and it was packed! Then I went on a Sunday and it was pretty dead. I went to Worlds of Fun on a Thursday and Knott's on a Sunday -- they were pretty dead too.
