Mega coaster trip 2017 help.
Philrad71 replied to thrillrider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
With all of the hassles and BS going on with airlines these days, I would prefer driving to destinations in the US, Canada and Mexico and save the airfare for the overseas trips (or for time savers in the US - only if I am running low on vacation days). That's one of the main reasons we bought a used RV last year. -

LOVE the Canadian-style theming of Soaring Timbers...looks really nice and kind of reminds of the great theming of the Pirate at Lake Compounce. -
I haven't been on Zum yet, but I would likely have to imbibe a little bit before I hit it as that sh%t is high...damn. I know CP has Power Tower, but I wonder if they would ever consider relocating PT somewhere else (or just keeping it) and putting one of these on the front of Dragster? Now that would be a pretty awesome view!

Most of us know that their log flume is good, but I feel that Dorney has a very underrated rapids ride. Crazy fast with lots of spinning and waterfalls - there is little doubt that you will get soaked on it. If you're into that sort of thing, I would highly recommend it...and you can hit it and the water park up at the same time before changing back into street clothes.

45 years is definitely something to be really proud of, that's for sure! Many people seem a little shocked & very congratulatory when Michael and I tell folks that we're coming up on 15 years this August (we mentioned this a lot to nurses and doctors while Michael was in the hospital). Apparently that's really long for a relationship these days?

Interesting stuff! I have heard of most of these attractions but have never visited them, so I look forward to seeing more! -

^ LOL....you know I was being the cynical devil that I am, Guy! Sometimes you just have to post the most non-sensical, ridiculous sh%t that you can think of just to ease the Saturday night evening mood...IE: before the next 20 pages of anti and pro metal detector discussions start. Oh well, even the anti and pro metal detector discussions might be better than reading through the last few pages in the Kings Dominion or Darien Lake threads. -
^ Yeah...me and my partner are doing the same thing with our British and European friends. Unfortunately, my partner was in Surgical ICU during the election and was unable to cast even an absentee, but I made sure to tell him after Trump won that I did go down to cast my vote. He would have killed me if I didn't vote!

^ Well that will come in handy when Dueling Streak Dragons (or is it going to be Dahhhhling Streak Dragons?) opens... Get the nets up around the loops ready to pair up with the ride entrance metal detectors & full body cavity inspection before riders get to ride. Then someone will take a cell phone to the head underneath TTD and CP will get sued for billions and CP will close forever and ever. The End. -
I think that I might try the dice roll too...sounds like it could be a lot of fun! Storm Crow certainly looks like a unique place - love the menu names!

^ Ahhhhh...beat me to it!

Bill - what is the alignment thing all about? Staying within the 3 toppings/3 sauces, I would go with this for my first burger: Burger name: "Philrad's Burger of Steaming Hot Death" Brioche bun Beef burger Borgonzola (how is this different from gorgonzola?) Bacon Jalapeno Mushrooms Red onions Sriracha mayo Sriracha ketchup Salsa

Count me in as one who can never get enough of the retro video games. I think that anyone in their 40's can appreciate them because it reminds them so much of their childhood. Definitely some rare ones at that place like LadyBug....I used to own that game on Coleco Vision along with Donkey Kong and Zaxxon. Great start to the report...looking forward to seeing more!
