To be honest I am not familiar with the coaster well enough to notice that much of a difference from the last time I rode a few year ago. It seemed like it was running the best of the three woodies, however. Raven was running unfortunately pretty rough and I didn't ride Voyage this visit. I've never been a huge Voyage fan and after I heard comments like "I might need to go to the hospital" after one of our people rode, I felt it was best to skip it this time around! Personally my favorite three attractions at Holiday World are Raven, Mammoth, and Wildebeest. Even though Raven was not running as well as in previous visits, I did ride it multiple times (mostly in the very front though.)

I have to be honest your question isn't totally clear and I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. I haven't been to Lagunasia in 12 years and I don't exactly remember the theme. There are quite a few "ocean" theme parks. SeaWorld, Ocean Kingdom, etc...

Right. But my point is these people live among us.

Our next stop was Holiday World! We also did a split night/next day here at this park which helped get some night rides in, do some filming in the early morning on some coasters and at the water park, but then head out so we didn't have a long open to close day. It was a very nice relaxing visit to the park! We actually spent more time in the water park this time around and if there is one thing I have to say as a ProTip for this water park (and really all water parks) is GET THE CABANA!!! I seriously do not think I can do a water park visit without doing one anymore. It's just so nice to have a place to relax, put your stuff, and have food brought to you all in a nice little private area. It's the only way to fly! Anyway, here's some photos & video... TPR has just arrived at Holiday World! Time for some Raven Voyage Legend Thunderbird fun!!! Time for a front seat ride on The Voyage! Obligatory Santa photo! Sun has set and night rides on Voyage will be had soon! Night ride on Legend... Still my personal favorite coaster at Holiday World! The holidays of Holiday World! Halloween is my personal favorite! It's been a great water park day so far here! I love how well even simple flat rides are themed to fit the lands they are located in! As a personal tradition, I always take the last ride of my at Holiday World visit on Raven and that's exactly what I did... TWICE! Had another wonderful visit to Holiday World! Ever think that maybe instead of becoming part of the problem you can do something productive and resourceful with your time when you get bored?

^ This is exactly what I do. When someone asks me "What is your favorite coaster?" I am actually unable to answer them. Instead I find myself rattling off a list of like 10 really good coasters that I'd be perfectly happy riding at that moment if I could. I don't see the point in having to decide which one is better than the other.

Don't forget about those Tomb Raider rides that Paramount made and Cedar Fair scrapped or re-themed.

I'm having a really tough time with where I would place Lightning Rod. While I think that quad-down is quite possibly the best section of any coaster I've ever ridden, I feel like the rest of the ride, while really really good, doesn't quite live up to other RMC's, and I have to be honest, I think I actually really missed having an inversion on that ride. Having just ridden Lightning Rod and then Outlaw Run back to back was certainly interesting. While I felt that Lightning Rod may have a better "moment" I actually felt that Outlaw Run packs more into each foot of track than Lightning Rod does. Basically what it comes down to is this is exactly why I have chosen to not rank or count coasters anymore. I mean, I personally feel that Lightning Rod, Outlaw Run, Wildfire, Medusa, Wicked Cyclone, and Texas Giant are quite possibly some of the best roller coasters I've ever been on. Why is it important to put one over the other?

See! THIS is why I like to ask people. Personally, I'm sort of "meh" about them also, but knowing that there may be at least 40% of the people who would really like them makes me at least want to look at our 360 footage more carefully and see if any photos stand out (I actually like the cropped tiny planet ones I did focusing on certain key features, like the Patriot one with the shadow) and it also gives a bit more variety in our updates. Please continue with your thoughts and musings on these types of photos. It is greatly appreciated!

I think it's completely fair game to "discuss" what has been seen as it is all over the internet, but out of respect for the park and the hard work that I'm sure has been put into the official announcement, we will keep any of the leaked images off the forum.

Let me make something VERY VERY clear - Larry is doing work to clean up this thread. If you have posted ANYTHING regarding the drama he is trying to clean up AFTER his post, you will be banned. The other reality is this - Maelstrom was a quick 4:30 minute ride so doing something silly for 4 minutes while you're on an empty boat makes sense. Both Energy and GMR are MUCH longer rides filled with tons of people. Energy being a 27 minute attraction and there is no way in hell I'm going to cover that entire length of time! GMR you also have the cast member spieling through the show so it would be obnoxious to be talking over that. Really, what it comes down to, if it would make sense and actually "be funny" to do something like what I did from Maelstrom, I would do it, but it doesn't, so sadly I won't. And just because I personally find it funny...
