Coaster Credit

Because he has a VERY small penis and needs to overcompensate for that by showing the world he's been on lots of roller coasters. -
Hey everyone! So to wrap up our IAAPA coverage here are 50 more totally random images and one video from the show! I apologize that there aren't any captions for them as we are in the middle of going from IAAPA to Free Play Florida (Retrogaming expo here in Orlando) to Las Vegas! It's been a crazy week and I'd rather post these photos without captions than not, so here goes... If you have any questions about them, just ask! [fbvideonew] [/fbvideonew]

Tonight we attended the media event for the "Flurry of Fun" holiday offerings at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Now I know there are those of you who will miss the Osborne Lights but I'm happy to report that thanks to the NEW holiday event at the Studios, this park is back to being one of the premiere spots to enjoy Christmas cheer at Walt Disney World! Tonight we got to check some of the highlights including: - Sunset Seasons Greetings - This is the new show for this year which includes projections on Tower of Terror set to music and this was incredible! There are four different shows that will run throughout the night and we recommend seeing ALL of them! - Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam! - This fireworks/projection show is BACK to updated effects and more fireworks! It's a lot of Christmas fun to help make the night even more amazing! - Jingle Bam! Dessert Party - Want to enjoy the show with some amazing desserts and some adult hot chocolate? This is the way to do it! Here's some photos & video from the event! The highlight of tonight was the new Tower of Terror projection show. Here's the Toy Story and Frozen segments: The Muppets segment was also a lot of fun and very vibrant! I love how they change the name of Tower of Terror and it's all done in projections! Here's the ending of the Frozen segment! The projections are just so sharp and crisp that you can almost not even tell it's Tower of Terror anymore! Who wants to unwrap Tower of Terror for Christmas? I love that the Swedish Chef makes an appearance! Some scenes from the new Olaf short that will be in front of Coco! We checked into the event and like always got a nicely made lanyard. Here's the Christmas tree right in the middle of Echo Lake. Going to start our night off with some food at Sci-Fi Dine In! Hey look! Walt Disney himself has welcomed us to the restaurant! In the media preview area we got a sneak peek at what we were going to see tonight and I'm pleased to know that Chip N Dale will be featured later in the evening! "Drunken Meatballs" is certainly a concept I could certainly get behind! Yay for Olaf themed desserts! Santa Goofy made an appearance! Here's some of the new Christmas merchandise coming to the park... ...and more fun stuff to buy. Yes, that says "Let it Glow." I personally think that's awesome, but I'm also a punny guy! The new projection show gets a thumbs up from Banks "don't you DARE touch my Tower of Terror" Lee! Heading over to the dessert party now to watch Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam! Pumpkin what? Oh, it doesn't matter I'll take some! Oh, this was godly! Alcoholic hot chocolate? Oh yes, yes, YESSSSSSS PLEASE!!!! This had a lot of alcohol in it! lol Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! was great! Lots of new fireworks in the show this year. And the lasers looks great! Makes for a great ending to a wonderful Christmas themed evening at Hollywood Studios. And yes, once again it is snowing on Hollywood Blvd! That wraps up another night at Hollywood Studios. And now, it's your turn... POST YOUR COMMENTS!

100% agree! Academy of Villains is AWESOME and I'm so happy they brought that show back! I haven't been a fan of Bill & Ted for years and especially last year when the crowd cheered for Trump and booed Hillary that was not an environment I needed to be around anymore. I actually didn't see Bill & Ted this year as I stopped finding the show funny years ago and I didn't want to spend the hour+ to bother with the show this year. Good riddance. I personally feel it was long overdue to be retired.

Oh, I do have a piece of NYC advice for you: So many tourists love to go up to the top of the Empire State Building because it's iconic and everyone does it. BUT... most "locals" will tell you that the "Top of the Rock" is the better view of NYC if you're interested in an observation tower. From Top of the Rock you can get a great view of Empire State Building as well as things like Central Park. It's also usually much less crowded than ESB as well. Just something to think about if you're considering doing touristy stuff. What shows are you interested in seeing on Broadway? It's a very different experience that the West End and ticket prices are usually much higher. As someone who is very much into theater, I can probably help in some ways with that if you have an idea of what you want to see. -

I'm going to move this thread into the main forum so that others may add their input as well. Personally I feel your schedule is very good and if you're worried about having a balance of park days versus rest days, I wouldn't add any more park days to your itinerary, even if just for a few hours, as any additional park days, even short ones, can turn a relaxing trip into a death march. As for cheaper hotel options, it is very rare that we would stay at anything less than a Holiday Inn Express, Baymont Inn, or Drury Inn (all very nice and affordable, IMO) and if a park has an on-property hotel that you can walk to from the park we will almost always stay there. There are others on the forum who may have other suggestions as well that may not getting added to this thread since it's in this forum. Best of luck on your trip. Sounds like fun! -

I would second this. I know it is costly, but once we stayed at Hotel Breakers on property I could never think of doing another Cedar Point trip staying anywhere else. I'm not a "marathon rider" and being able to get in a few hours in the morning to early to mid-afternoon, then WALK back to your hotel and rest for a couple of hours, and then go back to the park for the final few hours of the night is worth the extra cost to me. We will usually have dinner at one of the restaurants at the hotel also. This strategy combined with a Fast Lane Plus makes for the most relaxing and memorable stay at Cedar Point! -

Yesterday we shot our very first 4K 60FPS video out at Fun Spot America on Mine Blower: Recommended watching it on a 4k supported browser like Chrome or Firefox. -
We actually saw a few people do this earlier in the year. The thing about it, though, stuff like that is usually done by people who are bitter and angry over "closed" attractions, and I sort of like to keep things moving forward and positive. Like I remember one of the guys was wearing a tombstone for "Wishes" and I was like "Do you really miss it with the new fireworks show being so good?" and he was just all crazy and angry saying back "YES! THE NEW FIREWORKS SHOW IS AWFUL. AWFUL!!!! I HATE IT! AND I HATE THAT EVERYONE ELSE LOVES IT!!!!" I was all "Ooooookaaaaaay! You need therapy!" lol

Thor: Ragnarok Review I will try to do this without many (if at all) spoilers for the film. First of all, I really liked this movie *A LOT!* As someone who wasn't a huge fan of the original two Thor films, Thor: Ragnarok was a complete departure from those. The original two movies were much more "dry" but this film brings the Thor stand-alone franchise more in line with the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's funny, it's witty, full of crazy action, but most of all it's super fun! I'm a fan of just about every character in this film. Thor and Loki are fantastic once again as the "brothers who constantly fight like they are still ten years old" and I love that Bruce Banner/Hulk are in this movie as well. I love Banner's dry wit and he has some fantastic one-liners in this film. Mark Ruffalo plays him so well! New to the team is Valkrie, which is a wonderful strong female character (the world needs more like her!) and "Korg," a gladiator who becomes friends with Thor that, while a minor character, steals the scene every time he's on screen! I think the only character I wasn't super fond of was Jeff Goldblum's Grand Master character. He felt a little awkward as he's a "leader" of sorts, but with all these strange insecurities. Not that I minded him, but I actually really like Jeff Goldblum and I was hoping his character would be a bit more likable. I'm also a fan of introducing other members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe crossing over into all these films. It really does help tie them all together. As I mentioned before, Hulk/Banner was a wonderful addition, but I can't help but thinking that Doctor Strange being in the movie seemed a bit out of place. He was just kind of there...and then he wasn't. But it didn't take away from the movie at all, so that was fine as well. In a way, the movie ends up feeling more like a "Guardians" film because by the end of it, you wind up with four characters who you kind of didn't expect to end up working together as a team towards a common goal. I actually thought the movie was just as funny and overall "fun" as a Guardians movie as well. I'm not sure exactly what my expectations were going into it, other than I felt that the Thor stand-alone films up until this point were my least favorite of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but now, after seeing Ragnarok, I can't wait until the next one! We highly recommend it! Be sure to go out and see it! Here's the official trailer and some stills from the movie:

I will say this summed up my thoughts on Taron as well. Although since so many of the German fanboys & even some of our TPR friends kept bragging that this was a "Maverick killer" I went into it with higher expectations, which was a mistake. For me I would put Taron slightly *slightly* below Cheetah Hunt and Cheetah Hunt only gets the nod because I really do like the inversion on that coaster. I felt that Taron just kept doing the same things over and over again and could have used an inversion or something different to mix things up a bit more.
