  1. Definitely go to Hershey. As mentioned above the atmosphere is better & there is much more to do. The selection of coasters is great & the waits aren't that bad even on a weekend in the summer.

  4. Thanks for the info Big Mike! Yeah it is a pay one price admission. $17.95 for adults which is not bad.

  6. I've been on Steel Force 19x this year & really enjoy it. If you sit in the back seat the airtime is great & the front has some good hang time. The break run doesn't stop the airtime over the bunny hills but the last one hurts your spine.
  7. Nice TR! I visited Seabreeze with TRP & had a great time. Whirlwind is a lot of fun!
  8. Hint! Hint! The Park Index needs Bowcraft ride photos. Some of the flats are quite good and the pizza there is excellent. In my book only Delgrosso's has better amusement park pizza than Bowcraft. I guess I know what park I am spending the most time at & eating lunch! So is Bowcraft one of those fun little parks like Idlewild where you just do everything!?
  9. I went to Dorney last Wednesday & rode Steel Force, Talon, Hydra, Thunderhawk, & possessed all 10x each for a total of 50 coaster rides! If you go during the week you should be fine!
  10. Here is my advice. Skip summer & plan a weekend trip in the middle of September. I did that in 2007 & got on everything at least twice in one day including 3x on Maverick on it's debuting year.
  11. I was thinking about asking him Thanks guys. I will hopefully make the credit run to North NJ early next week & OCMD the following week. I will film & take pics of my trip & post it in my thread.

  13. Sometime next week on my day off from work I plan to make a credit run up in North Jersey. I plan on driving about 1 HR & 40 min to Bowcraft Amusement Park first, then about 50 minutes to Keansburg Amusement Park, & finally about 40 minutes to Jenkinson's Boardwalk. Each of these parks has 2 coasters. One big one & one kiddie. Being the credit whore that I am I want to ride all 6 credits to get me up to 229. I plan on doing this because on the West Coast trip we are riding at least 64 coasters. I hope to hit 300 on that trip & I need 13 credits before the trip to make it happen. 223+13=236+64=300. I am getting the other 7 credits on my day off after that by going to Ocean City, MD & I am pretty sure I can ride the kiddies there. I just would just like to make sure if I can definitely ride the kiddies at Bowcraft, Keansburg, & Jenkinson's so I don't waist my time driving all the way up there. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
  14. I chose mine because I really like Kingda Ka & speed. Also 'Waking the Demon' by Bullet for my Valentine is my favorite song. I also put the extra A in Demon because I am a bad speller Add it all together: speed+Kingda Ka+song+A=Speeddeamon128

  16. Could you add a way to maybe keep track of home many times you rode a coaster that day & the total number of coaster rides you got that day? I have a binder that I keep track of the theme parks I visited that year with the dates, the coasters I rode that year (new & old) in the order I rode them that year & how many times I rode them, & the flat rides, dark rides, & long flumes I rode in the order I rode them & how many times I rode them that year. This is an awesome idea!
  17. I've been lucky. No broken bones!
  18. It was sunny & 85F all day & I was working in it!
  19. ^No you don't Broad Street is crazy especially at night
  20. Possessed at Dorney park yesterday! It was my 200th roller coaster ride of the year
  21. I'm at a tie with Terminator & Diamondback. GCI woodies are my favorite type of coaster & B&M hypers are my favorite type of steel coaster. I rode Behemoth last year & it was AMAZING so I can't wait for Diamondback!
  22. This year I will be going to HHN Orlando for the first time & I am really excited! I am not a fan of Saw so I will probably freak out which is what I want to go there for since all I have done for Halloween events is crappy Frightfest at GADV & a decent Halloween Haunt at Dorney. This should be fun!
