I also can not wait to see this show! The technology driving this is amazing. WoC and the Electric Light Parade should allow DCA to stay open late and keep the crowds much better than it has. I have also heard the term "Fantasmic Killer", and think it has more to do with the technology than anything else. Fantasmic has moving objects all over the water and live actors. How do you beat a pirate ship with all the action going on with it! Of course Fantasmic will be getting a much needed upgrade to the water screens and some other updates after the new year. Needless to say all of us will be spoiled by having lots of evening excitement at the Disneyland Resort!

Six Flags Magic Mountain Terminator Salvation: The Ride

Got 3 rides in on 05/26. Overall I really like this attraction! The theming is great, and the ride is good. I didn't know about the fly by in the station and thought that was pretty cool. It was fun to see so many people get startled by this! I like the high speed banked corners on this ride and the fast pacing. On all 3 rides I got to see all 3 pre shows in their entirety. I hope I can make the TPR event! -

This is killing me!! This is the first media day I have missed since Riddlers Revenge. Looks like an awesome day out there and I can't wait to ride! -
I would pay $200 for an Extreme Play pass in a heart beat, it is well worth the money! $125 is an excellent value, too good in fact. I would rather both of the passes go up than be nickeled and dimed on everthing else in the park. I have always felt the passes were very affordable compared to other parks in the So Cal area. I realize the economy isn't the best right now, but when you figure a few visits with a season pass your entertainment value is pretty good. When you go 10+ times a year it is a bargain!

The park doesn't fully close down in rainy weather, or even normal thunderstorms. The nice thing is there are a couple of rides that you can do even when it is raining. I really like a couple of the dark attractions there: Pirate's Cove and Whacky Shack are both very cool traditional dark attractions. The dodgems, and carousel are both open during rain too. As for the Ravine Flyer II goes, GET ON IT!! It is an awesome ride, especially in the front seat!! -

Dragon Mountain @ Marineland - The pitch black downhill descent into the butterfly inversion. Awesome! Dragon Mountain gets my vote as well!! -
Favorite Arrow Coaster

Interesting to read all of the comments. I don't think too many people think about Arrow Coasters anymore, but back in the day they were the sh!t. There are still some really good rides out there, but most of them are getting old. For me, when Viper at SFMM first opened I was hooked. When X at SFMM first Opened I was hooked. Years from now we will probably see the same type of thread, but it will be B & M instead of Arrow.... -

Awesome pics! I really like the night time photos. As far as rides go, the LA County fair makes the Ventura County Fair look like a church fund raiser! Thanks for the post. -
Maybe something new is going into Psyclone's place and Deja Vu is getting re-themed/re-named to match the new area? That could explain why merchandise has been marked down.... I remember some have felt that when Flashback is removed they may expand HH, or maybe make it a one gate park. My guess is the 2008 passes will be made available after the announcement of next years addition(s).

When Psyclone first Opened it was a fun ride. When the train left the station and went in the tunnel there was the sound of laughing. The first drop was fun and turns were smooth. First half of the ride wasn't real fast, the hills were nice, but not much air time. The 2nd half of the ride was faster and fun. I never thought of Psyclone as major wood coaster, but it was worth riding. It didn't take too many years of them heavy trains, and SFMM's lack of maintenance to kill the ride.

^ Yeah those of us who have been around for a few years remember the park when it was in great shape! We have definately seen a lot of changes to the park over the years. Of course, the residents in the area have changed a lot as well. Used to be just about everyone drove a few miles to the park. Santa Clarita became a more in-expensive area to live in compared to the coast, or some of the more upscale areas in the San Fernando Valley, or LA. BTW, thanks Jahan for the update.
