I see how they're fitting in the Xcelerator maze. It looks pretty cool, but honestly, couldn't they have just put a maze in Johnny Rockets or coasters or something?

HALLOWEEN HAUNT at Worlds of Fun
Vffreak07 replied to Swoosh's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Good move for WOF! Do you guys think that other CF parks will start doing this? I mean, we're seeing it happen to Kings Island, and now WOF. Could we see it happen at other haunts? Also I don't see Dorney doing their haunt anymore after next year. They don't even have a site for theres. Also, can someone please explain to me what Camp Gonnagitcha is? I looked on the website, and I don't exactly get the description. -
HALLOWEEN HAUNT at Worlds of Fun

Valleyscare just announced Hellside Farms! That also sounds promising. I like the scary direction CF is going with for the halloween events. -
I have an SFMM viper shirt and that's it. I've never worn it, I just thought it was cool when I was 10.

Which park has the best haunt site?

Everytime I look for their site, I get re-directed to the knotts site (which sucks by the way). -

HAHAHAH. ^ So true. : ] Amazingly great coaster. I actually got lost waiting in line since it was not wait. =] I thought the trackwork was 90%. I thought a couple of parts were a little bit pumpy, but nothing major or even close, just a couple tiny parts. Scenery, AMAZING! I loved the tunnel launch. It actually had the effect of the room lighting up. That was awesome. From beginning to end, I just had a smile on my face thinking to myself. . . . =] Great job. What's next on the NL agenda? -
Celebration City at night PTR

Ahh man. That lazer show brings back to me the good memories of when Valleyfair had a lazer show at night. Oh well. Nice PTR! -
UPDATE! Okay, I just found out that on the website, although the page isn't up, the new scare zone will be called Hellside farm. It will be located around the log flume/hydroblaster, and is going to stretch around and through that area. Also, a rumor is that Carnage at Crimson Isle might be moved due to that it is too close to Hellside farms, so they're moving that back to thunder canyon/back of the park. Rumor though. <.

Later in life, I'd actually like to work with haunted houses/haunts. I think they're fascinating. As for HOS, this sounds very cool! How are the scare zones there? -

When I was in Cali, I saw the construction of the ferris wheel. Is it really that big? -
Last year the crowds were perfectly barable. The haunted house lines got up to about 15-30 mins max at night. The rides weren't bad at all. And, did you pre-order tickets for the wild game, cuz those are almost always sold out in advance. Also, I'd go on saturday rather than sunday, because 1. the park is open longer, so therefore, you'll get more out of your day, and 2. You'll be able to see the park/haunt at it's fullest.

Usually GCI has flyer trains, not GG.
