yes, but I believe they have a specific amount for online sale, and a specific amount for park sale...to make it fair. If you plan on getting there at opening, you shouldn't worry about them being sold out. FYI, they have raised the prices up by 5 dollars...so now weekdays they're 20 dollars and weekends 25 dollars. Also, it's not as bad as it seems. Before my first visit, I assumed the park to be packed and that I wouldn't get everything down. On my first visit, I only missed 5 coasters [X Tatsu, Revolution, Colossus, and Superman] all which I got on my next visit. If you visit during the week, X and Tatsu have the smallest lines later on in the day. Some coasters don't have two train operation immediately so they pack up the lines fairly quickly. The more staffing the better.

Maverick is not 500 ft. Terra coaster is just one of the fake buzz words that Cedar Points hype machine comes up with. Look at the spelling kids... Terra = short for terrain Tera = Next logical step from Giga strata, etc. THANK you. I was just going to say, I believe Terra has someting to do with ground; Maverick is basically a terrain like coaster [close to the ground and not going beyond 100 feet except the first drop. -
I think the park was proud to have changes done, but they weren't prepared for the summer chaos, which led to some of the demise. But ever since the later part of the summer season last year, to now, major improvements have taken place, and I believe this year, they will do much better in handling themselves. Rides [most of them] have been running on great capacity and the new single rider lines will greatly improve too. The addition of flashpass to Batman might or might not help. As for service, I hope they don't have hour long lines for Papa Johns or Johney Rockets, but once again it depends on staffing. Also, there was a rumor somewhere that "possibly" a few pieces of X's new trains were spotted, so it could be the trains would be ready before we suspected. Who know's everything can be speedy if you want it to. [we just witnessed that with Maverick this past 2 weeks] I'm also excited to see Flashback come down this (august?) or fall. Also all the painting is exciting too. I'm still not sure whether S:TE is being painted its original colors or the rumored Blue Red and yellow/white. Either way, it'll be an improvement. Go Six Flags Magic Mountain! Someone bring a park update! I love park updates.............

Alright, I got a few questions/statements. 1. I thought they were going to repaint Superman red blue and yellow/white not the colors it has now!?!?! 2. Now that Riddler has a single rider line, did they remove the flashpass line then, because single rider and flashpass are in the same line/place so it would be pointless..I'm guessing the flashpass was handed over to batman, even though Batman had some odd ride seating as well [i noticed that last summer...a few people every now and then came one from the exit, even tho the ride didn't offer flashpass. 3. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but on my last visit, On scream, I noticed on one of the trains, towards on of the middle rows, third seat entering the row, the OTSR had two seat belt buckles instead of one...making me wonder...anyone know more? Also keep in mind...flashback is only MAYBE staying. I've heard rumors from both sides, both being people that either work there or are close. I've heard it very well may come back, however, another story states too many of flashback's components have died and/or rusted away beyond repair giving it a one way pass straight to the junkyard...I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Heide Park Discussion Thread

I think a lot of it is terrible. 1. the fact that its a clone 2. the colors of the cars are weird as hell 3. the track and the supports don't mix, or have really anything to do with a desert (maybe the supports) 4. the helicopter? wtf? They can do better than that. Thats just weird. I think it will ruin the way the park looks even when all the scenery is comlete. Just looks odd IMO -
If every rollercoaster that had ops who talked on cell phones when they should have been working was riddened, I'd bet a good portion of all coasters would dissappear. Besides the near lawsuit complaints, I think after years of pain and agony, Six Flags finally got the hint that, hmmm maaaaaybe, they should take the ride out...also in response to person on the previous page...you must be new to the coaster world if you think flashback will operate this year...and who dares to hope X would be closed? then again, have you even been on X, or SFMM for that matter?

I actually wish they would have kept all of the coasters on their, even the defunct ones so it looks like a timeline, but nooo, that would be like promoting a cancelled tv show. If you look at the wall, its sort of random, theres no specific date it starts, they just sort of paint over it once a certain coaster closes...when did they start that anyways? -

Hmm I never knew Colossus used the "backwards" lane to go forwards. Imagine that. -
Right next to the regular queue. The entry area to X splits into two paths, don't know how anybody could miss that. Not very observant. They were working last summer. Oh, well I know that when I went on X last summer, the section of the line where it splits into two (where it either sends you to the right or left side of the coaster) is what i noticed...but i thought that was always like that. why did the flashpass people take the other side before?

well everyone whos going, take good pictures please. so what exactly are superman colors? Red, Blue, white/yellow? this should be interesting...no really, it should be....and was that a FULL TRAIN I saw on Ninja? Who ever new a paint job could attract so many people. I agree that this year so far for the mountain is going very well. I plan on getting my thrillshot credit in a couple weeks when I (hopefully) go, as well as freefall, if its actually working for once. Yay and getting to ride X again, how could I forget X...ok I'm done. have fun!

lol i think rct2 sfmm purposely left out the other coasters, like riddler, batman, etc. because they knew it was almost impossible to make it good with the RCT limitations. I've seen people do recreations with all the rides in the park, except tatsu. but unfortunatley my younger brother started making his own sfmm park [which totally effing sucks] and he saved over the orginal rct2 version so i can't even play that anymore unless someone has it saved on some website and that i can download it.

still no word of flashback. i thought it would be down before the spring break/summer season began, but it doesn't look like it now. when does Hurricane Harbor re-open? As far as Psyclone is concerned, it's gone and another coaster definetly isn't replacing it, unless SFMM decides to move Flashback, or whatever if will be called there in the future. Hey, for all we know Flashback might not stay. We are just used to assuming it will be, but that was just a maybe. Theres no confirmation that it absolutely will. So it could easily be that there will be 2 spots open, and I'm sure neither one of them will be to a coaster, (unless its a kiddy coaster)
