  1. I'm gay 100% Lol I've already come out to family and close friends so I'm fine, but there'll always be people at school that don't necessarily have to be homophobic, but that just act "shocked" when they find out, so I kinda keep it low. I mean if somebody I'm close to asks me, I'll probably tell them, but I'm not gonna go parading it around. I also think it's terrible that so many parents "dis-own" or question their kids because they come out of the closet...ummm hello? nobody CHOOSES to be homosexual. It can't get more simple than that. I know religion is big to some people and some people believe it is a choice, but really it's not. Regardless of what people think, ask any true gay person. They never woke up one day and said, Hey! I think I'll be gay today...I mean when did anybody choose to be straight?
  2. I can honestly say that right now, X is THE roughest coaster in the park...more so than Psyclone and Colossus combined. Half of the ride is just pain! It's literally like riding a wild broken mechanical bull on the most difficult setting, all while being restrained and forced to endure the pain. I try to look at it as positive as possible, but I'm not gonna lie, it hurts! I've found that Viper does't have specific good or bad days. I believe that it's a LOT smoother when A: The trian isn't full, or the more logical, B: when the trims aren't on. The trims before the corkscrews are bull and ughh. They ran both sides in one day of superman? Weird. One of the times I went last year, I saw them both sides launched, but they only ran one side. I guess they just test both sides daily (if nothing is wrong with one side). But I'd love to see a budget come in for Superman to get both sides running again. I think SFMM just basicallyneeds their own electricity source By the way, has ANYBODY, been to the mountain recently? Anything new? Since the summer season is carefully ending, we can prepare ourselves for quite a few things, those things including, 1. Goodbye Flashback, 2. Superman: The Paint Job, and 3. X's new trains.
  3. When I went on it back in december, I thought it was really uncomfortable. I just remember having my vertebral region hurt.
  4. No. they don't and can't run both sides at the same time...not anymore, and not without causing other problems. As for Deja, I believe that was one rumor gone bad. Sure it was on Screamscape, but the chance of all three Deja Vu's on the chopping block? Where exactly would they go instead? I'm sure some (other) park would just love to take it in! (sarcasm) moving them to other Six Flags locations would be pointless. I doubt they're going anywhere. At least just yet. If they were removed, I'm not sure that they would find a new home. Deja Vu is by far one of the better Vekoma creations and they should NOT be touched.
  5. SUE? you mean S:TE? And exactly what welding needs to take place?
  6. I see people walk underneath it normally all the time...i don't know how they do it because I always have to plug my ears. Anyways, has everybody seen the new pictures of superman being painted on screamscape? actually does anybody else have any more pics of it?
  7. if you're talking about monday 7/23, I was there that day as well, and I went straight in the mornign, waited maybe 20 or 25 minutes. I went again later and waited just as long if not shorter. I didn't look at the line at other times during the day but I did't see any ghost trains go around. Tatsu opened both stations that day, but each station only had one train, meaning that whichever line (for stations) you went into, you'd have to wait a bit for the train to do it's whole cycle. I went to the left station because the right one was longer (some people don't notice the line extends underneath the switch rail and then up, as opposed to the slightly shorter line. anyhoo, X was ROUGH AS HELL in quite a few places. bottom of the drop, raven turn or whater, and...basicaly any maneuver it made hurt. I felt like I was riding a WILD mechanical bull...ouch.
  8. I visited Magic Mountain on Monday. I actually just got back home to arizona a few hours ago. I'll have a detailed TR later, but a few points I noticed: For a Monday, the park was pretty crowded Scream still has odd vibrations in any seat that isn't in the front. Viper is a LOT better without the trims. X...OMG after the first drop, before the turn, and before the last twist (basically half of the coaster) the shaking was INSANE. I felt like I was riding a mechanical bull placed under the "extreme shaking" level. ouch. it hurt! I was suprised people used to file complains on Goliath...which I thoguh was one of the smoothest rides that day.
  9. Not necessarily. If it comes back, it will most likely be rethemed and given a new name. Yeah I too have wondered as to why they never made one for X or Deja Vu. But my guess it they added the two more recently built coasters...Who knows, maybe the other two will get a mural built too...or they'll have to take out 2 coasters to make room for their murals ;D.
  10. Haha seems the park beat us to it. Coasterrealm's update shows the painted over Psyclone and Flashback murals, and added a Scream and Tatsu picture instead. Here they are:
  11. I've noticed a lot of people calling it "furious" baco...don't be so american people. FURIUS Baco.
  12. pshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that's all I have to say. lol
  13. YAH! I just found this rare-ass Shockwave footage...so please nobody rain on my parade and tell me someone already found it, cuz it looks amazingly cool and I doubt anybody mention it yet. Perhaps if they can't decide on what to fill Psyclone's old spot with, they'll bring back their old Stand-Up for another run, to join Riddler in becoming the only park in the world with 2 standups! I kid, I kid. http://youtube.com/watch?v=TNBNAuiC6yo
  14. .............and how does that have ANYTHING to do with what is being discussed?
  15. Well that's definetly a change. Perhap X is starting to FINALLY die down with the crowds and excitement...after 5 years. I wonder how this is going to end up. I can see it being normal on weekdays, but weekends? X's last ride on a saturday could end up being at 2 A.M.
  16. I was thinking something VERY similar to that. Yes, they are very different coasters, but to me, it seems that a park [a major park] has either an Impulse, or a Giant Inverted Boomerang. Both coasters represent a similar layout and design concept. forward, then back. I also thought "how odd" when I realized both Deja Vu and V2 were in the same park... and look, the both have a "V" in their names!
  17. It probably is possible to run three trains with one stations, but it's useless...The time it takes one train to load, it takes the other to cycle the course, and yet that train still has to wait in the blocks...having three trains wouldn't do anything except cause the riders to wait longer to get off, as the stacking would just increase, and the speed of the ride would not differ.
  18. lmao... next thing you know, they're gonna keep it closed another year...just to re-add the loop again..
  19. Actually, if they ran 3 trains, they'd open the second station, which leads me to another question...why haven't they been using the other station very much this year? Things could go a LOT faster.
  20. Sweet. I'm also going next month. Sometime between the 20th and 27th, most likely the 24th [tuesday]. at least I know my way around and now what to expect. whoo hoo for season passes! i'll prob. head straight to X just to get it over with for the day, unless we end up getting there a bit late, then I'll just head over to the back of the park and get near walk ons for Deja Vu...that's how it was last time I went on a tuesday...although that was in October, but still, a tuesday is a lot less crowded. I'm excited. whoo hoo.
  21. yup yup. i saw that too...so are we still assuming flashback to go to psyclones former spot? i'd say so, cuz that area of land is kinda big, and i'm pretty sure thomas town could fit where flashback is...then again, maybe not...as i always say, time will tell.
  22. Since when does Tatsu open late? and how long has this been going on.
  23. currently, all the coasters are closed for major rehabs... obv. i was totally joking. you're now entering the summer season or "on" season. Even Six Flags will try to have as many things operating as possible with as many trains as possible. By the way...somebody PLEASE bring us a SFMM update...I've been dying to see one.
  24. Of course! We've all seen the new restraints...especially since the new trains haven't even been shown off yet... Any restraints you used on X were the same ones always used on it. We have no clue if X's new restraints will be any different, but if they are basing it off of Eejanaika, then they may be. Major weight is being taken off the trains, so we'll see.
  25. you sure about that? Superman was the biggest power hog when it opened...even if it only runs one side at a time, running it at the full 100 mph causes problems with the power and the LSMs.
