  1. Glad I wasn't the only one thinking of Hydro Thunder.
  2. Strickers Grove on the 9th. Then Indiana Beach for the coaster event the next weekend.
  3. KC would be second. Charlie Daniels would be first. I realy want to ride this now.
  4. Atleast your team is better than the local college football team where I live. My team has been perfect for two seasons. They haven't won a game in 2 adn 1/2 seasons. The college I went to was perfect in thier season too. They had never lost a game. Pretty easy when you don't have a team.
  5. I have heard it isn't as crowded as you would expect. Plus it sounds like rain all day.
  6. SoB makes Voyage seem like a Steel coaster in terms of Smoothness. SoB is my worst coaster ever, followed by Thunder Run and T2 at SFKK.
  7. Voyage worst coaster ever? Wow. I must have a high threshold of rough, because I never thought it was bad at all. Just courious, how many wooden coasters have you ridden? 40 Dollars a rip off? Go to any big chain park. Say, Six Flags St. Louis. First off, you will get hit right off the bat with a 15 dollars parking fee. Then 30 dollars discounted entry. Okay. Now onto food and drink prices. Drink prices at SFSTL if you bought all your drinks individually instead of a refillable bottle. 3.50 for water. Food prices are 6 bucks plus. A good meal is 11 dollars at the cheapest. So, if you spend the whole day at thepark, you might drink probably 6-7 bottles. Holiday World might not have the most rides, but HW is far from a rip off.
  8. The Voyage is different depending on the weather. If it has been raining, it is excellent. If it has been dry, it can be a bit rough, but not bad. The best ride I have ever had was at HWN 2009. ERT didn't start until about 10pm that night because of storms. Voyage was insane. I had my hands up the whole ride. IT was smooth and fast.
  9. I believe it is a Media/park staff only. I don't believe there is no "General admission" persay.
  10. Yesterday JoyFM had David Crowder (christian rock band) at Six Flags St. Louis. When he was talking about the park, he called it Six Flags Over Mid America. But first, lets talk about the park. I arrived around 4:30 park time and headed straight for Evel Knievel. Being June, a concert and a coaster event, I expected major crowds and lines. When I got to EK, there was no line visible. I had a "skip the line" pass and decided not to use it on there. So I went into the que and walked right into the station with a one train wait. It was great as usual and wasn't even squealing. I then decided with the 90's as the temp, it was a great day for water rides. I headed towards log flume and the line wasn't bad (10 minutes). I usually don't ride water rides when visiting other parks just for the day, but being hot and bringing extra clothes, it was worth getting wet. Log flume doesn't get you real wet, but it does cool you off a bit. While in line for the log flume, found out a family of three was trying to get tickets for the concert and couldn't get them, I had three extra so I gave my extras to them. After getting the concert tickets, I headed over to Tidal Wave as I was getting hot. TW really gets you wet. Since I was already soaked, I figured I would hit up thunder river. I started waiting in line, and after being line jumped by some people who thought they could have someone save their spot, I decided to line jump all of them. I used my skip the line pass and rode. I think TR gets the most wet of all three water rides. It was getting close to concert time so I went out to my car and got my dry clothes and changed and went into the concert. I have never been to a christian rock concert and loved the way he integrated with the audience. I think the fun things was seeing the families singing and having a good time because the music is something that is good for the whole family without having to worry about bad words, references to things you wouldn't want kids to hear so young. Another neat thing was that on top of playing the keytar, he also had a Wii Guitar Hero that was set up to play music with, and also had a button on the Wii controller set up for the Super Mario brothers sound for getting a coin, which he had one of his band members demonstrate. Anyway, since no one is really paying attention now, I will put up pictures. They did Rock Concert movement number 78 about 50 minutes in. Of course no one left because we all knew it was a fake, Concert lasted about an hour and a half. I was 12 rows up, not bad for free tickets. something with crowd participation. Electric Fiddle. i think they were playing "I will fly away". Banjo makes any song better to me. I want to play Banjo at some point. twittering during the concert. Guitar Hero controller. a gnome is protecting is someones water. Hey, a train...Hi Rapidsnerd...again. Hey, it is a Mac. At some point he did remembering the 80's. (Keytar), also had a band member play the Super Mario Brothers theme on a mini keyboard, jump like a coin sound is played, and a Bon Jovi overhead clap. That is right...Hi Rapidsnerd. You get two shout outs. Keytar...reminds me of something. any picture with a drummer is worth posting. David Crowder himself. Drummers Rock...of course I am a little biased. The rest of the band. This is most of the band. Concert time. Another old picture Hi Rapidsnerd. This is an old photo.
  11. *cough*Big Mike *cough*....joking, so don't take it seriously.
  12. Big Mike....I was directed at this site because it had coasters like Blue Too and Blue Flash on there. It also has traveling coasters. http://www.coaster-count.com/welcome.xhtml
  13. I wouldn't go that far... it is a fun ride.
  14. It is a new ride...expect issues to pop up. From my exp. at Holiwood Nights, the park tries it best to keep it up as much as possible (including the park President offering to drive to get the part they need at 5am in the morning just to open it up that day).
  15. I might head up also...if there isn't a race that weekend.
  16. Something is up. The State of Ohio is investigating.
  17. I guess I will finally post a picture with BMMC and me, sorry no pics of me findng it as my camera was in my car.
  18. Need more information....camera, ISO settings...etc. I have a Olymps Stylus 1010. I don't know much about 'ISO' but it can be set on Auto, High Auto, or between 80 to 1600. Chances are that those specs are from a high ISO setting. Most point and shoot cameras don't do well in low light. And the only way to not have them is to have a tripod and set the ISO on 80, chances are, those pictures won't turn out well either.
  19. Need more information....camera, ISO settings...etc.
  20. Have you ridden Son of Beast lately? YEs, I rode it on the 31st of May, it was rough (I never rode it in looping days), and the lift hill was one of the loudest I have heard. WAsn't very enjoyable.
  21. TEar it Down....Something of quality could go in there instead of that pile of firewood.
  22. He posted pictures in a thread a couple weeks ago.
