  1. Tony Hawks Big Spin @ six Flags in st. louis (home park one is Voyage last year, second coaster ever for m)
  2. YEah, people are so parnoid, I mean, since it happens to be a company that makes a bunch of these, it could be a design problem that they just discovered, but hey, lets not err on the side of caution and run all others and lets hope nothing else happens. [/end sarcasm] I think this was a smart move on six flags and cf part because it might be a design flaw that needs to be addressed, or just a freak accident.
  3. Some different employees for sure. I was in que for the other side of twisted sis...twins and the ride op at the controls decided to start singing. Then instead of loading that side, they loaded the opposite side from the side of hte que I wanted to ride. I jsut left.
  4. For those of you who think that since SFKK tower isn't on thier website that it is goin to be removed, I think it was this site, St. Louis' isn't listed either.
  5. http://www.11alive.com/news/article_news.aspx?storyid=99172 Still isn't comfirmed. I am not a wrestling fan, but this one sounds real, unlike the mcman(sp) one.
  6. Yes, that it is. Thank you.
  7. Breakers express gets you in faster? I plan on staying there in fall anyway, but that is a good thing.
  8. You drove through my town, probably just smelled it. Terre Haute.
  9. I had this turtle wax paste stuff, you know the kind you dad used, and hated waxing my car since it took forever. Well, Turtle wax came out with this Ice wax. It is a liquid and it is the best stuff ever. Took me about as long to wax half my car as it did my trunk earlier with paste. I may soon have to do a deep clean on my paint job though. Anyway, here is a couple pictures. I have a good side and a bad side. Good side. Bad side ^ was a result of sliding off into a ditch, bugs and hitting a car, will be getting fixed sometime in the next year.
  10. Beign the one ride today was my 18th ride since last sept., I will give you a hint on what I think of it. www.coastercounter.com/spaceace12 But raven is getting a nice little bump around the middle of the lake turn around.
  11. This was in this guys signature, a link to his photo gallery. The photos were from june 3rd.
  12. I clicked on a link to look at some coaster pictures and saw a current status of WG but have forgot who had it. Can anyone help me. It was in a signature.
  13. Going into the day, I knew it was going to be packed, but how much packed surprised me. I got there 30 minutes before opening, and had to park halfway out on raven lot. Had about 20 minutes for my dad showed up so I walked down to voyage to get a early morning ride, but atlast, it was opening late. So I rode the Turkey Whirl and met up with my dad and his new wife's family. It was about 10:30 and the food was being served at noon so I knew I wouldn't get many rides in before lunch. Went to raven and it was full all the way back to the entrance to switchbacks with all switchbacks being used. Took about 45 minutes and we got a back seat ride. We had about 30 minutes before we ate so I got in Liberty Launches Single rider line and got a ride almost immediately. And then we ate. After lunch we decided to hit up the water park. It was as bad as the dry park. Bakuli's line was all the way to the bridge that goes over the lazy river. All other lines were just as long. We were in the water park until about 5pm when there was a lightning shut down. So we decided to head up to the Thanksgiving section and ride the Gobbler Getaway. Took about 30 minutes to make it through, again all switchbacks being used. Then as we exited I heard the sound of Liberty Launch and knew the Weather shut down was done. So me and my dad headed over to the Voyage. Took about 20 minutes to get the opening procedures done. We were up to the deck that goes above the track and my dad chickened out! Said he was sick. So I got a back seat ride in and met up at Plymouth Rock Cafe. About this time I noticed dark clouds rolling in and waited for the ever happy announcement that there would be a weather shut down. We decided to grab some grubb and the clouds kept rolling in but no announcement. As we got done with eating, the PA announcer came on and said that "the storms are coming in with lightning and rain are coming in about 15 to 30 minutes and that the rain might last a while. So we finished eating and about 5 minutes after that announcement it started raining. So much for 15 to 30 minutes. We started walking up towards the entrance and about halfway up, they did the weather delay for Splashing Safari and some rides. By the time we got up to the entrance, all rides were shut down. And we got our stuff and waited for the rain to let up to leave. Rides: Raven, Legend, Bakuli, Zoombabwa, Gobler Getaway, Voyage, and Liberty Launch all once. So with the crowds and the weather, that was a pretty Descent day. I came in with just hope I could get a couple rides on coasters and some flats and water rides. Can't wait for September for crowds to lighten up and for me to goto to Cedar Point. I do plan on being the last public train on out Voyage on Closing day, I was the first public train out on opening day. And that will probably end my coaster year.
  14. They want the person doing the snow water devolopment to pay for the building.
  15. goto holiday world during the weekenday, monday's are the best.
  16. This ride was my first freefall tower. I have also ridden the tower at Six flags in st. louis. I prefer the Stl one because it randomly drops you. At SFKK is just drops all cars at once. Lets hope this person can get her feet reattached.
  17. Funny thing about the texas trip, I was planning a trip almost exactly like it with about that budget. except I would have to add in airfare to whatever airport you would go to down there.
  18. I am going Saturday, and they said to avoid saturday on hw's website, but my dad is going to his companies picnic and I invited myself and he said yes. So I am going to get a father son ride on voyage. As long as I get a ride on all three coasters, liberty launch, baukli, and the syper ride. The spider ride is the only ride I haven't done in the park I have doen. And as for food, I ate at PRC on opening day for it, and the food was so good. On my photo TR of HWN, Ihave a picture of my food. OF course, I would never say anything bad about HW, as it is my home park.
  19. Each time I've been to Holiday World, weekdays in June and July, the waterpark has been extremely busy, yet all of the coasters on the ride side were walk-on to 10min wait. Weekdays in June are less busy because work and school is still in session or just out. And in July, they suggest going in the week. Another thing is the weather, if it is 95 and 100% humidity, were will you be? Water park or riding dry rides. I personally would be on the coasters because the lines would be short. Also, this is a small park, some people would rather go to Six Flags or Cedar Point. LAst year was the biggest amount of people to visit the park, which was over a million for the first time. Most other parks get atleast that, if not more.
  20. Have you ever been to Holiday World during the summer peak season? May and June are slow months, July and August, they are packed. In fact, they are advising people not to visit this Saturday because of other picnics adn stuff. I know of one company picnic and probably a few others plus you got some people who might come because they don't want to go to the Con at Beach bend all day.
  21. What do I think of Voyage, Well, check out my top ten. www.coastercounter.com/spaceace12 I will be riding the Voyage this saturday with my dad who has never rode it. This will be the first time my dad has done anything with me in 10 years. Good thing I like coasters.
  22. I thought elissa did custom titles. oops. Sorry Wes.
