Overall, I was very impressed with this event. I actually got a few more "startle" scares than at HHN. The werewolf scarezone was hands down the best one. Although, I was one of the few in our group, I actually liked Taste of Blood the best. Nightshade Toy Factory was a close second.

Theme Park Review's "Halloween in Orlando" 2009

^Great to meet you Emily and thanks for helping out with Dylan! I also want to second what she just said. Thanks again to Robb and Elissa for setting up another amazing trip! -
Opryland U.S.A.

I always thought that if the park had remained open, they would eventually put a drop tower where Barnstormer was. Besides that, there really wasn't much else major that could of been added. The park was landlocked with the river on one side, Briley Parkway on the other, and the hotel eating up all the land to the north. They may have had room for a compact woodie behind the bumper cars and the Cannonball but I think that was made impossible by one of the hotel expansions. -

I loved Frankenstein! One of my top three houses of the night. Chuck (cfc) and I ended up going into it again at the end of the night. -
Expedition Geforce cable snaps...

This is worse than I thought! We stand no chance now that the Intamin cable has learned how to camouflage itself into items such as bed comforters! -

^^What makes his post even funnier was the failure to put a question mark after "HELLO!". Completely changes the context of his post and makes it comedy genius! -
The Official TPR 2010 Trips Thread

I really enjoyed having the live chat! Sometimes, in past trip chats, it has been difficult to follow the actual Q&A portion of the chat. (i.e. people cluttering the chat with off-topic stuff) But, with the live chat I was able to focus on Robb and Elissa's voice and get all the important information I needed over all the chat clutter. Thanks again for doing this and I am sure things will run smoother with each attempt! -
Trying to decide which PS3 to get

By the way, he already bought the PS3. Okay, now back to your pointless argument. -
Theme Park Review Hoodies are BACK!!!

Ordered!! -
Looks like that awful Rockit thread has taken over and merged with the HHN thread. Seriously, it is pretty simple. If you are visiting Florida and this may be your only chance in your lifetime to ride Rockit and missing it will ruin your life forever making everything else not matter, THEN BUY A TICKET TO THE PARK DURING REGULAR PARK HOURS WHEN IT IS OPEN. Thank you.

Erik & Misty's Smoky Mountain Adventures

So, it sounds like they didn't have any live actors when you went through? My brother and I went through close to Halloween and they actually had three live actors. (I have been several times in the past and seen one at the most and usually none) One of them was literally jumping from balcony to balcony like a monkey. As a result, he would pop out on us several times through the walkthrough. Still trying to figure out what was wrong with the clown that followed us through half the house without trying to scare us. Seemed like he wanted to take us on the tour. Anyways, great TR. Love me some Mysterious Mansion! -

How did I let this Flash Forward show slip by me? I will have to check this out.

http://horrornights.be/media/hhn19/hhn19_v.php There are videos at this site which show walkthroughs of both the Dracula and Frankenstein houses. Do not click if you do not want to be spoiled! These videos show off most if not all of both houses! Less than three weeks until I finally attend my first HHN!!!

The Official TPR "East Coast/Behemoth Trip" Update
ernierocker replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Whoops, looks like you snuck an update by me on Sunday morning. Busch Gardens was an amazing day. It was fairly crowded that day, but with the Quick Queue and ERT, we pretty much destroyed the park. (Kind of like Busch Gardens is destroying Big Bad Wolf ) The Rapids spray zone was amazing. Especially, the machines facing Apollo's Chariot. If you could man all the sprayers and with the right timing, you could own some people. -
Did you see a picture of the actual house facade somewhere, or are you just talking about the animated one on the website? Well, I am very excited now after the full website update. I can now see that the rumors of a Army of Darkness house came from the War of the Living Dead scarezone. There will technically be 7 scare zones, if you count the entrance to the park, where there will be roaming ushers similar to the Mirror People last year. Can't wait to see how the website ties all these houses together!
-
So, this leaves us with a tab for the Wolfman, Dracula, and Silver Scream/Universal Palace Theatre houses (if that isn't part of the big site reveal). I will have to admit, they have kind of lost my attention with the infrequent updates. I'm anxious to hear about the scare zones, as I am still not clear what they all will be.

Looking forward to checking the new version out on Labor Day weekend! This should also be the first ride for my son, he will be four months old when we are there.
