  1. This is the great thing about the Walt Disney Resort. No matter how many times you visit it, there is always something like this to do for the first time that makes the place so special.
  2. For most of us, the end of October marks the end of the Theme Park season. So, how do you spend those cold months without coasters or theme parks? What other hobbies do you have that help manage the withdraw? Post about them here!
  3. I agree. The stock for this trip is rising with every new construction picture released of this monster!
  4. I voted for Six Flags, DFW, and the Fort Worth Stockyards. I visit Dallas a lot, so we will definitely be checking this out when it opens!
  5. Holy crap, I haven't thought about that movie in years!! Looks like this is going to be a fun little ride!
  6. ^^Yeah, please explain. I didn't see anything wrong with the park during our visit in 2008, of course that was my only visit so I have nothing to compare it too. But, I'd say the Boulder Dash retrack was highly successful which was done under their watch.
  7. Here is the latest photo update of this monster from the GCI Facebook page! Be sure to check out the GCI Facebook Page for more photos!
  8. The map is still on there. This is just way too far-fetched to take them seriously even if it is just their master plan. 15 coasters?!?
  9. There have been a TON of reports about how rough Georgia Cyclone is on here, so I don't know how you could of missed everyone one of them??
  10. Why don't you head to the park next Wednesday and report back to us on that.
  11. It could be that Summers/Dinn didn't have the foresight to build long, sustaining coasters. Rather it was the trains they used or just the actual design, they didn't seem to have a way to prevent their coasters from tearing themselves apart. I think it took their mistakes for their predecessors to fix what they did wrong. The same thing holds true for Arrow as well. They build rides that everybody loved for the early years of operation but eventually got so rough that everyone made fun of them. (Except for Tennessee Tornado which must of been a result of Ron Toomer selling his soul to the devil!)
  12. I have to admit, I was expecting much for this announcement. This is actually a very cool addition for this park!
  13. ^Yeah, you are right. Six Flags Great America couldn't have a successful water park since it is so close to beaches on Lake Michigan. Or just about any major beach destination (like Destin) in the United States would have a reason to build a water park literally across the street from a beach. Oh wait...
  14. ^^This is a feature that is commonly used in haunts around the country. It's one drawback is it can cause a capacity issue. For instance, they used this on a house for HHN Orlando a couple of years ago and eventually had to stop using it because it caused huge backups and massive wait times. It is pretty intimidating especially when it is pitch dark and that claustrophobic feeling kicks in.
  15. The first drop reminds me of the one on Boulder Dash except a lot more visible.
  16. ^^I am not exactly sure what you are talking about?? Are you talking about a different message than this one: If you are talking about a different one than just copy and paste it over here because we would love to see it!
  17. Oh, I am sure the money will have already been "resourced" for the cause.
  18. Gotcha. I have pretty much ignored that area for a few years, so I had no clue they actually put a ride in that building. I completely agree that a good area for it would be in Gotham City.
  19. ^Pretty interesting opinion, but of course you are entitled to it.
  20. Somehow, I am not familiar with where Shake, Rattle, and Roll was exactly located. Was it in the building where they used to have shows (like the Chinese Acrobats) next to Freefall's old location?
  21. The actual restoration project is becoming more of a joke than the Prince Desmond thing. Wait...it already was.
  22. First of all, welcome to the site! Could you please re-read the TOS (specically Rule #9) that you agreed to upon signing up for your account. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=137
  23. I moved your topic into here. Since there hasn't been any official announcement on this ride, it really belongs in this rumor thread. Once, an official announcement is made, we can start an official thread concerning the ride. Thanks. -Eric
