  1. Went with them to Liseberg today, and all rides were running fine all day, just a stop on Balder that was less then a minute.
  2. Now this is a fun coincidence. I were at Tysenfryd yesterday and met up with Robb, Elisa and the rest of the people form TPR, and the fun coincidence was that I was on the last train that completed the circuit before it broke down. Too bad that they couldn't ride Speed Monster on the evening.
  3. Those are a part of the driving system of that coaster, not brakes. If you have them there to reduce G-forces, then you have to redesign that part of the track so that you get rid of those. Brakes should be mounted straight with no twist what so ever. It doesn't look professional to have them any other way.
  4. Use Fraps or any other screen capture program. It works pretty good but it also kill some framerate.
  5. In Sweden English is not a problem, most have studied it since 4:th grade and all programs and movies from another country is shown in it´s native language (except childrens stuff). If you don't want to fly To Oslo from Stockholm, it would be easier to get to Oslo from Gothenburg by train, bus, etc.
  6. I will meet those that comes to Tusenfryd and Liseberg. See you all there. Have a nice trip in the UK everyone. (I had it last year).
  7. I have one license of NL for my PC and one for my MAC. But I also got Nolimitsfairground which is also sold through element5. So yes I have bought from element5 3 times total.
  8. Yes. I have bought from them 3 times and I havn´t had any problems.
  9. Glad you liked your visit to Gothenburg. Nope, Max is better then both Burger King and McDonalds, too bad that they havn't opened a resturant inside Gothenburg.
  10. You have to bank the entrance of that turn to keep the lateral g-forces low, and you still hav to many supports, remove so that you keep every second or third and it will look so much better.
  11. I would have joined if there were better rules and if I had the time to do it. For instace: Come on how many modern steel-coasters have more then 1 g lateral, I try to design mine so that they dont go above 0.7 - 0.8 g.
  12. Just for you to know, some old Schwartzkopf uses that type of supports (ex Lisebergbanan). The segments for the lifthill looks much better, but I don´t think that you have to many supports for that piece of track.
  13. To me the middle picture looks like the newtype restrains from Vekoma. Because it doesn´t look like the restarins found on any B&M.
  14. Joined after I met you at Liseberg last year.
  15. I think that these tubes are to thin for this part of the track, I would have choosen a size bigger. Tunneltest. Add tunnels to all sections of the track. Ride/fly around the track to see if anything (support tubes, track, ground, other tunnels, etc.) intrudes into the tunnel. Remove or change the things that intrude so that they don´t anymore. It´s almost the same as they do in real life, thay have a template of the reach of the people and coaster trains and move around the track to check the clearance . E-stop test. press the emergency stop button in simulation (normally F12) and se that the trains stop at respective blockbrake and no crashes occur. For instace if you press F12 just after the simulation starts the blockbrakes lock and soon after the train at the top-hat crashes into the last train at the final brakerun.
  16. You need to fix so that it passes E-stop test, I didn´t check the tunnel-test but there is atleast one point that I suspect that might not pass. You have to work on your supporting skills, most of the track was undersupported (too thin tubes), on some other places there was to thick tubes. The Tophat supports are really bad. You shouldn´t have a transport segment in the middle of the track to increase speed, this isn´t the way it´s done in the real world. Too bad you used AHG on some sections, you should learn how to do the smoothing and banking by your self, and you get a better result.
  17. ^ It´s program for people that take the "easy" way out, but they can also destroy a track. It´s better to every thing yourself. About the track quite good, some rough spots with bad jerks. Don´t pass e-stop test. Quite realistic layout.
  18. ^How long have you used it? It´s pretty hard in the beginning but now I think its all childsplay, been using it for over 3 years now. It´s hard at first but then it gets easier.
  19. Have they done a pullthrough of the track already, thought that Intamin always did it before testing the track with a train. They usually take 2 cars and do that to check the clearance between the wheels and track.
  20. To complete what you translated earlier Chris. On the left it states that Eejanaika opens on the 19:th of july during the 18:th year of the current emperor. Underneath the circle thingy, it says "Eejanaika". On the right: top 3 kanjis "fujikyu", underneath side by side "Fuijyama" (left) and "Dodonpa" (right), bottom "third son" < I guess it refer to Eejanaika as the 3:rd big coaster. And at the bottom of the poster it says:"wonderfull, wonderfull" (or something like that). Looks like it´s going to be a really great coaster, and the colors of it just make it look fabulous. To bad that I wasn´t able to get to Japan this year as I was hoping to do.
  21. I really like my picture of Balder that I took on the Kanonen press-day.
  22. Or you could go here and download a file containing a placemark for every (almost) park in the world, so you don´t have to do it your self. http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php/Cat/0/Number/52647/page/
  23. calm down dude, i only built in, like, 20 minutes. That´s no exuse get a better rating for a mediocre job. To get right on to judging, I say: Good layout but it need some fixing. What to fix: some jerks here and there. to slow on the way back. there was massive pumping on the turn. fix the g-forces. you should have some more realistic breaking on the way back. you could improve you supports. som parts of the track need som straighten out
  24. Have there ever been a bad Schwartzkopf coaster. Anyway I havn´t been on any of them above, but my absolute favorite must be Lisebergbanan. And the best part of all is that I normally live about 30 minutes from Liseberg.
  25. If that is true then maby we will get the Flying Dutchman coaster from vekoma, and finally get a kind of flyer atleast. (Me is hoping)
