Update Index Day 1 & 2 - BonBon Land & Tivoli Gardens (Below) Day 3 - Bakken Day 4 - Hansa Park Day 5 - Sommerland Syd & Legoland Day 6 (Part 1) - Farup Sommerland Day 6 (Part 2) - Tivoli Friheden feat. SCAD Tower! Day 7 (Part 1) - Djurs Sommerland Day 7 (Part 2) & Day 8 - Karolinelund and Tusenfryd Day 9 - Liseberg Day 10 - Ikea and Grona Lund As some of you know this year TPR has gone High Def because its sexy. I have also gone high def along with TPR and have the same handheld camera as Robb. The Scandi trip was the first time me and Robb had used the new camera a great amount so we were learning what each function does and how the camera works. Then we stumbled across something called "Smile Capture". Basically what that means is while filming, if the camera detects a smile it automatically take a photo, and the photos that the camera took on the trip will be the ones you see in this trip report. This update features BonBon Land and Tivoli Gardens. Dave & Miles Take A Spin [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Spinner_Onride_Handheld_d0dw[/coastertube] Quiz Time. Question: Terry's expression is caused by: A) Seeing Robb naked B) Kiddie coaster sexual attack C) Both of the above. (That's it for this update, check back soon for more parks and video!) "Hey, I wanna go again. Lou and Robb are very good with levers. But not so much Turbo buttons." Lou: "I am the lever goddess, you lever is in my control" *evil laughs* Robb: "Hey, Lou can control my lever anytime" Hanno: "I can't belive im letting these 2 control my fate for the next 2 mins." Big Mike is ready for Vertigo! Robb: "Hey everyone check out me and my big lever" Brakeman: "He has a very good technique, he must have an object shaped like this in his hands alot." Big Mike: "Well done Rich you got the anwser correct. The smell was indeed Doughnuts" Rich: "I like doughnuts!!!" "Hey Big Mike readers. This is my good buddy Rich. In todays game Rich has to smell my finger and guess the smell" "Hi i'm Steve you will find me in the bar consuming alot of alcohol and still making it on time for the bus, unlike 2 certian people!" Everyone is looking at an amazing naked lady, but poor Jonathan missed out. Better luck next time Jonathan Happy riders on the world's first Eurofighter. Everyone is thinking "If I can't see the camera, it can't be filming me" It was not only filming, it was taking photos aswell. Dave: "OH MY GOD, It's SNACK TIME!" Miles: "I seem to have followed through" First ride of the trip is none other then the "Dog Fart Coaster", and as you can see everyone LOVED it

Thorpe Park Discussion Thread
StealthFan replied to Rooey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
23rd April 2009 Update Enjoy. I will end this park update with this from outside Saw's Single Rider Queue! Hope you all enjoyed this update. There will be another one soon, so keep an eye out! Rumba Rapids boats and Logger's Leaps boats that are out of service are stored on the old CCR route. This information sign isnt serving any real purpose as it has no screens inside it. This sign needs to be replaced still, as Saw isnt coming anymore, its already there! New chain waiting to be installed on the lift hill when needed. This is an example of a suttle sponsor ship. But even though its suttle it still works. This Queue Line TV is abit down. Tidal Wave is running well this year and is also one of the nicer sponsored rides as the sponsor is not shoved in your face! Head? Slammer is running strong this year! And is still a great ride. This is a Thorpe Park bin! Far superior to a Cedar Fair bin if you ask me! There are bears all around the track to be spotted! Can you spot them all? Logger's Leap has abit of a leak on the lift hill, but nothing to worry about, you will still get soaked when you ride. They have also added a few small touches to the ride such as this. Such as 70min Saw Queue! Through the trees! The CCR does allow you to get some great new shots of Saw! The trains do need some work. They still have the old park logo on. Personally I like the fact they are still there, but the inside of the carridges are a little worse for wear. Canada Creek Railway has now reopened with Saw being complete! Make a note! The Top Rockers will be Rocking again on May 2nd! Last time I saw them they were singing Queen's Dont Stop Me Now!!! This is how one of the rides peices of theming spent its last few years after the effect broke down. But all the ride systems are still in place. All ride signs have now been removed. For those of you that don't know Miss Hippos Fungle Safari has closed now and will not be re-opening. Poor X has a case of mistaken identity this year. Above the door it says X No Way out but on the signs X:/ No Way Out. And this crab, that sees all, but says nothing! Octopus' Garden also has this funky caged thing. Mr Pirate gives his thumbs up for Octopus' Garden It is very well looked after and the rides are always clean as a whistle. Also some what ignored and forgotten about is the Octopus' Gardens which is still a great places for the young ones. I think this was a great thing done by the staff. Also near Stealth is the much ignored but beautiful looking Sunken Garden. Stealth is still loved as much even with Saw's arrival. Stealth is now sponsored by Yorkie. And has stickers on the back of each seat on the ride. My personal favourite being "Stealth! Bricking It?" Neptune's Beach is open once again, minus the flumes. And of course Saw The Ride! Stealth This years signs over the bridge are. Colossus This is above the turnstyles and I dont think has been touched in years. All it needs is a lick of paint. Welcome to Thorpe Park. You would have thought that they would have removed Tussaud's from above the park logo by now. -
Okay this is basically the same as all the other park discussion threads but this is for Thorpe Park. I will be making several trips to the park this year so there will be plenty of park updates posted here, but please feel free if you make a trip out to put your own update here. This first post will be used to link all updates posted (First update below) __________________________________________________________ 2009 April 23rd - General Park Update

Great photos as usual Hanno. Gives me more reason (Not that I needed more reason) to go back to Europa Park. Heres hoping this is the type of coaster Alton Towers are getting for next year, but their version will obviously be without inversions. -Craig -

Today was Annual Pass Preview day at Chessington World Of Adventures today and I decided to head up to the park too see what work had been going on over the closed season. The park itself looks wonderful, alot of stuff has been cleaned up and painted and looks like new which was great too see. The parks operations were very good and there was only a few minor breakdowns throughout the day. A much much better show then Thorpe Park opening day. All staff are very friendly and a shout out to the guy at Guest Services whos name I didn't catch but recognized the TPR shirt! That does it for the rides side off things, if anyone wants too see the Zoo part then I will post it tomorrow. Expect new POV's to come very soon! And a whole lot of spinning! Abit of that. It does abit of this Next up was the best spinning coaster I have ever been on! Me filming the POV of Safari Skyway that you will see very soon! The very sexy Chessington Hotel! Backstage SeaLife center porn! Now I shall post a few photos my cousin took while I was filming. Now its time for Safari in the Sky! Which really was trying hard to kick my arse today! (Check out my Rattlesnake POV in the rain on CoasterTube: http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=Rattlesnake ) After lunch was time for the Rattlesnake! "Now which way to our next ride? Ah thats right, head out of the park, turn right and continue onto the M25 Northbound, follow the signs directed Thorpe Park and ask a member of staff where to go on from there!" 5 doughnuts and a large Coke obviousally! But no worries I did help this man with his 2 big bags while he carried a basket on his head before we made out decision for lunch, which was........ We had a choice of the parks 2 new eating establishments. The Pizza & Pasta Buffet or the Fried Chicken co, which I now realise I didnt take a photo off! On our travels to the land of fine dining we come across something I havent seen in a LONG time. Bash Street Bush was WORKING. This is unheard of in a long long time! Which is now "Private Parts" which only Staff have access to! As we decided to make our way too get something to eat we ecided to take the long route and came across the old railway route. and making abit of a splash! Entering the deep dark throat of this dragon who has had a nice new coat of paint on. Then we finnaly arrived at the Dragon Falls, which involves...... and having a go at trying too do the same lip thing the GIANT Budda does. After the Tomb we headed to Dragon Falls, but not before we paid a visit to our go friend Tom! Also this gave us no indication what so ever on what way to go to get in............ So as we were not very sure what way too go i decided to take a while guess and go that way! Who knew it would be the right way to go! We tried to follow this map to find a way too get in but it really didnt help. But not before a cuddle with my sphinx friend. Which made him very happy. After giving the Vampires bush a good kicking we went over to do some blasting in the tomb. The Vampire is still a very good ride but sadley the Vampire forgot to shave over the closed season and has a bad case of overgrown bush, which resulted in my hitting his bush alot with my feet. (Check out my Vampire POV on CoasterTube: http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=VampirePOV ) and a funny statue lady! Such as sexy new purple fences! Next up was the "Fangtastic" fright of the Vampire, which has had many "upgrades" over the closed season! They do now offer therapy for the Bubble workers who saw the horrific Bubble War, but that can be torture for some who are not ready for it! First stop of the day was Bubbleworks, where Bubbles are tourtured by listening to badley placed music, endless quacking and the thought that they all killed Proffesor Burp in a horrific Bubble war! First port of call was Guest Services to be serviced sexually because we are guests! Not really, but I bet I just made alot of people opinion of Chessington go up alot! We actually went there to pic up my Cousins disabled wristband and be informed of the new disabled policy they have. Today is an EXCLUSIVE EVENT ONLY and if you are not exclusive we will be forced to call the SAS and they will take you out! Welcome to Chessington World of Adventures!

TPR TV or CoasterTube
StealthFan replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have had this problem before when uploading. Its almost like CT is queuing the video up to be converted, thats why it is not redirecting. It only redirects to the home page once the video has finished converting and works. If the video was in a queue it will stay on the upload screen. I think this problem has been sent off to the programmer by Robb. -Craig -
