  1. Im under the impression that Deja Vu never reopened on Saturday when I was there (we left @ closing).
  2. ^^ not necessarily the best idea, if you go on X first thing in the day, you could possibly get really sick. When I went last summer (Saturday in June) the line was long (2-3 hours after opening) and only about an hour later in the day. It all depends on how many trains they are running. If there's two, go back later in the day, if only one train: FREAKIN RUN!!!
  3. Ok, im going to MM tomorrow and I have some questions (surprise!) - Can I assume not to see any sign of Deja Vu operating? - How many trains will most likely be on X? Goliath? any information that you have would be wonderful and helpful. Thanks!
  4. I was wondering when Fantasmic is supposed to reopen at Disneyland. Any info would be great!
  5. Does anyone know the current status of Deja Vu and whether or not it will be open on Saturday? I'm going with some friends who want to ride it.
  6. in response to the Riddler's Station thing posted earlier, it has been redone an extreme amount. The last time I was there, I was dumbfounded by the amount of work they had done on it. There was new paint, the trash was gone and the lights that have the question mark symbol where re-instated (they were just plain squares for the past two or so years. I was amazed. I'm going next weekend and I hope to have a full report on the stuff thats happening at the park.
  7. For that refurb list thingy at tatsu (there was a picture of it), is it going to be closed at all or will it remain open?
  8. Ninja + new paint job = VERY SEXAY!!! (sorry) I'm really happy to see that ride get the attention it needs and deserves. It's a very good family ride and the younger kids enjoy it alot (especially the ones who dont like loops and inversions) One question, how where the lines on saturday, were they terrible or were they decent? Some friends of mine want to know for the 24th when were going there with my school. We want to hit up most of the major stuff (X, Tatsu, Goliath, Scream, Batman, Riddlers, and Deja Vu if its open when they say its supposed to be)
  9. they check the seats really well on tatsu and if im not mistaken, they have sensors that tell when the ankle braces are closed. I'm really happy because my school announced that for Sadie Hawkins we are going to SFMM on the 24th of March (i've already been asked by a feminine type) and yeah, it makes me happy and im really looking forward to it.
  10. Ninja's Paint job is very well done. As for repainting X, it would be really hard to do because of the track, all they really need to do is give it a nice power wash and it should look really nice. As for the Tatsu thing, why exactly have they sent a train back? Is there something wrong with it or is it just because they want to keep it nice?
  11. I personally think that there is nothing wrong with the name "X" and its very appropriate for the ride because of its new technology. As for the whole "project X" thing, it would be cool but they already have a coaster in Black and Green and it would be extremely hard to paint X.
  12. The funniest thing about panda express in the park is that its in Baja Ridge. When I was there in the beginning of Febuary, a friend of mine asked me why they had the asian food place in the mexican area. I had no answer for once and he was happy he had stumped me. He said they should have placed a Baja fresh or something in there just to fit in.
  13. My school's CSF club went and took about 150 students and every one of them that I talked to said they hated the ride. With the lights turned on, they said it was slow and uneventful and the music was just kinda boring. I won't get the chance to ride it for myself... fortunately
  14. I know this is a little off topic but... On one of my past trips to SFMM, I noticed the "junk yard" under batman. Why dont they fix that up a little? I know its not supposed to look nice, but seriously, it looks terrible. The original batman at SFGAm has an amazing set up. The cop car that they have there supposedly ran into a fire hiedrant and the fire hydrant has water bubbling up from it. Thats cool scenery. Why doesnt SFMM's Batman have that? (I tried to find some pictures, but no one wants to take a picture of that dump under MM's Batman)
  15. Where the three bench trains really any better? It doesnt look like they would make that much of a change anyways and the ride really isnt that rough at all contrary to popular belief. Ghostrider on the other hand...
  16. That has to be one of the most amazing re-painting jobs Ive ever seen before! I love the wheel covers on that ride too, both the new and old ones.
  17. wouldn't it technically be to 2006? didn't Psyclone finally close in December?
  18. Colossus - there's supposedly a child in a striped shirt who occasionally can be seen at night running through the supports underneath Colossus. That, and sometimes at night the lift chain can be heard running and the clanking of the anti-rollbacks, despite the ride being shut down for the night Dude!!! I could swear Ive seen that kid! I went to one of those christian music nights and we were on the ride at two in the morning and we saw something out in the open area by the first turnaround and then all of a sudden, we saw it dash away when we went down the drop!
  19. Knotts isnt my favorite park to go to but Me and my friends just went to SFMM a couple of weekends ago
  20. After checking the Knotts website, I have begun to plan my trip to my original home park. Just a few questions because I havent been there in a while: - I have a day off on the 16th of March in which It would be nice to go but Xcelerator will be closed for rehab. Should I go anyways or plan for another date? (i have a friend thats dying to ride it) -Would a saturday such as the 3rd be very busy or would there be minimal crowds? Thanks for the help!
  21. I know this is off topic but do you think any other designer will ever attempt to create a 4-D coaster? (the one that doesnt spin at port adventura doesnt count)
  22. They tried the whole "replacing the wheels" thing on X already didnt they? As for Five Seat trains, I some how cant really see that happening at all. They would have to still change the station around. I doubt adding two more cars could do anything to the ride in terms of making it smooth.
  23. do you mean ankle Braces? that would just hurt your ankles too!
  24. fairly long list: -Put an Extra full rotation in on X in the first Raven turn like Eejanaika. -Remove OSTR's on Revolution -Put back in the Double Dip on Colossus (why did they remove it in the first place?) -Find a way to make Scream look better and smoothen it up a bit -Make Ghostrider Smoother -Make Supreme Scream taller -Replace the crappy new Perilous Plunge boats with new ones like the originals that were really comfy -Put a drop in on Big Foot Rapids -(dont know if this counts but) make a longer cycle for Riptide -Put a loop in on Top Thrill Dragster (just to make it interesting ) - Put in a Zero-g roll on Xcelerator right before the first Overbanked turn
