Great TR so far. I love the captions. Its amazing all the stuff you can do in Japan, but can't do in the US. The chairlifts are so cool, especially with the awesome no handle bar, and also how you have to turn the chairs in the train. I can't wait to see whats next! -

Hey peeps! Its CmplxAud here to bring you a brand new park... Paradisio - Theme Park is themed to a Mediterranean Town, hidden in the Napa Valley. Although it was originally designed to be a winery, the owners decided to take a new approach and turn Paradisio Winery into Paradisio Theme Park. Paradisio Theme Park is an escape from the reality, into fantasy. A fantasy where you can only view paradise. The hardships of life will fade away as you are plunged within the park. You will lose yourself, and with it, your preconceived notions. You will awaken from your slumber and view the world how it was meant to be. Will you find paradise within the gates? Only time will tell. Journey into Paradisio Theme Park. ____________________________________________________________________ Ok... so now that the intro is done, I'll get to the pics. Currently I only have the ticket booths, parts of the entrance, and a new ride. Enjoy, oh and major thanks to AngelorD for the awesome logo! ^Still need a name for the ride... Any suggestions... Comments/Suggestions are always appreciated, and thanks for looking!

Honestly, I like DCA better than Disneyland. Yeah Disneyland may have the e-ticket rides, but I just like the overall atmosphere of the park. It seems so different from Disneyland, so I'm surprised they're going to change the entrance. DCA is almost like Disneyland grown up, which is why it's not as memorable with guests, but I still like it. I'm surprised they're going to rip out the whole entrance including the letters. Smart move... not. Although the letters don't fit in with the theme they're going for, it is an icon of DCA. I have countless pics with my family, friends, band, school, and me on the letters. The entrance also seems like a poor choice. Come on, do we really need another MGM entrance or Disneyland main street? Is re-theming really the answer?

Yeah... I totally agree with you. I have no clue on how to use AHG despite the many tutorials I've found, and besides that I have a mac, so unless they make one for the mac I can't really use it. BTW, I really like NL coasters that are done by hand. It really adds more to the result, especially if you can perfect it! -

Awesome track! The coaster was really smooth, except the slight pumps here and there. The turnaround element was my favorite part. The layout was perfect, but I thought that section of 2-rail track should have continued as 3-rail. Just my opinion. The supports were amazing, and nicely crafted. The only flaw in this track that I think you could improve on are the slight pumps, which are near impossible to fix if its all done by hand, and without the use of AHG. Nice work once again, and I can't wait for your next! -

Wow, nice coaster... It was really intense, and packed with a wide variety of elements. The coaster had a really nice pace to it, however the downside was the occasional pumps. Also watch your g's, I noticed that one of them spiked into the red after the main drop. The supports were well laid out, but some of the flanges didn't match up with the coaster. Nice coaster, and I can't wait to see the layout for the next coaster. Great job!!! -

I used Adobe Photoshop 7.0 I'm still learning how to use it though, and probably should read the manual and tutorials. -

Wow... great TR. Too bad I didn't stumble on this earlier. It's like what TheRapidsNerd said, its hit or miss. I really like your hilarious comment, and nice work taking pictures of... the track... Keep posting, cause most will read the TR but not post anything... Great job, once again! -
^Yeah, not only that, but the quality would be horrendous on YouTube. Anyways, great work on the ride Fisherman. Just one question. How do riders get off of the ride at the end station? Is the wall on the right another one f your ride event walls? Anyways, besides that, great work with the soundtrack, and voice overs. It really added an extra umff to the ride, although it would've been fine without.

I think one of them is... Eric Clapton?... As for the rest, I'm lost... Had to resize from 1680/1050...

Hey... I remember this coaster now. It was honestly one of the best coasters I've ridden. The color scheme with the incredible supports, which were completed with a buttery smooth banking. The Heart-lining in this coaster was executed perfectly, and the banking on one of the inversions was done just right, so that it felt like you were in a jet plane, careening out of control! The only thing that was a let down was the final break run. It just seemed a little too steep, and that awkward turn into the next break run was also a let down, but hey, nothings perfect... right?! Anyways I can't wait to see what other works you'll be posting here... Great job, and Later! -

Nice Coaster... There were a ton of headchoppers, so you might want to tunnel test, but I kind of like how close the supports came to the trains! Make sure that all of your breakruns are straight (command I on the mac... control I on the pc... I think) You probably could've removed the last transfer if you positioned the last break run a bit higher, but it worked fine. The banking on the first roll was a little awkward, but worked, since it was taken at a slow speed. (I wouldn't mind to see what that would feel like in real life!) The banking on the first drop could've started a little earlier, before it turns... and the loop had some kind of banking... This coaster was pretty good and pretty much everything I stated could be left the same, and still work in real life. I hope to see another hyper from you! -
Hey... its CmplxAud, here to bring you a brand new spinning coaster created by Maurer & Sohne! Its an original terrain coaster called Gyration. This coaster is built for a small and upcoming park, so the capacity of the ride is fairly low. 3D's and supports are in progress... Here's the pics!!! Comments/Suggestions are always appreciated! Closeup of Turnaround... Return Lift Hill and Huge Drop/Turnaround... Switchback Portion... Layout Overview of Spinning Coaster...

I'm glad to hear that Discovery Kingdom is becoming more of a little kid park, but unfortunately no new roller coasters have been added recently. With the defunct Zonga that only ran for part of one year, and then was sold, you would think that Six Flags would of forked out the money for a wild mouse, or a Maurer Spinning Coaster like the one at Disney Paris or something, oh well. Having that said it is my local park, and a pretty nice one too, but its one of those parks that you only have to visit once to see the whole park... Great TR. Unfortunately the second post with pics... well no pics showed up, just jpg names. Too bad, I was reading your captions, and I just got a laugh reading them without the pics. I hope you can fix the pics soon! So whats the next SF park on the list?

Wow... This concept is truly stunning! Everything is themed and the ride and scenery is visually pleasing. I can't believe the work and planning used in this concept art. Now only if some park would build it... Great job, and awesome design on the trains, scenery, track layout, queue... I hope to see more of this amazing work! -

Well... I think the shield is only for the Sky Ride. You wouldn't want to be riding if someone dropped an ice cream cone right on your head... Anyways, Griffon looks really cool. I think the trains kind of look out of place, but oh well. Also the color of the splash pool kind of looks cheesy now, but oh well. Great TR, I hope to see more soon! -
Best Theme Park Show You Have Seen.
ComplexAudio99 replied to methos's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Lol^ - I love that fat singer in the back! Umm, lets see here: #1: WaterWorld @ USH - My all time favorite stunt show. Incredible show, especially at night when that huge sea plane is rocket towards the audience! #2: Lights, Motor, Action @ DMGM - Awesome stunts with the souped up cars... I wish I had one! #3: Fantasmic @ DL - The first and best Fantasmic out there. Amazing show, especially when they bring out the pirate ship, or the marionettes! #4: Illuminations @ Epcot - No other show can beat the soundtrack, or the fire barge ever... period. #5: Terminator 2:3D @ USH - One amazing show. From the peppy/slightly high Cyberdyne spokesperson, to the amazing architecture in and out of the building (not the boring version at USO)... this show kicks ass (well not really because donkeys are cool...!?) Anyways, there you have it. My top 5 favorite Theme Park Shows of all time! -
There is really no way to describe X. Its one of those rides where you have to ride it yourself to get the full experience. The videos of it just don't do it justice. X is an experience that is meant to feel uncontrolled, but controlled at the same time. As you ascend the lift hill, a nice view from X can be seen of Magic Mountain. When you reach the top it flips you face down, and plummets towards the ground. before you reach the bottom of the vertical lift it rotates back into the seated position. From there, it was all a blur to me, all I know is that it was a once in a lifetime experience, with incredible forces, especially that last raven turn. Oh, and over the past few years the ride has aged, creating jerky rotations on the seats. X is not free spinning. In fact two of the rails control the position or rotation of the seat. Depending on the distance of the two rails will be the angle of the seat. Using this technology you can feel as if you were flying, or riding a floorless coaster. I'm not really sure if it has an on-ride picture. Last time I rode it I didn't see a booth for any, but knowing that this is a six flags ride, it'll probably have one. Does anyone know?
