I got a really nice Q&A with one of the hear rides managers for Diamondback, and here's how it went. He basically told me about the ride, and really what I knew already...but I got to the things I wanted to know. Sorry, I forget his name. Me - "I see the lift hill's supports are different colored than the rest, what's up with that?" Guy - "The rest of the supports apart from the lift are more of a light brown so they won't clash with the woods too much." Me - "This is going to be a HUGE ride for Kings Island. I know lines for Firehawk were bad last year, and still are this year. Those B&M trains are great for capacity, but will there be a single rider line to improve that?" Guy - "Well, maaayyyybbbbeeee....-wink-" Me - "So far on the video, I've seen a mid course break run...any idea how that's going to effect the end of the ride?" Guy - "As far as I know, it will be next to nothing." Me - "I know B&M usually has trims to help control the ride's speed, and I know Behemoth up north had them on almost every hill...will Diamondback be any different?" Guy - "There's a possibility there will be one on the second or third hill, but like the MCBR, it should be hardly noticeable." Right now I'm having trouble with getting pictures up... But thanks to all the people I met and talked to today! I got to meet MANY, MANY TPR readers. You guys have no idea how many of them are out there! They asked what I thought, who we are, and where we're from. They only showed a small clip. Though, we got talked to by News Plus Notes, and some other park guys and reporters! Too bad they didn't show the shirts...

Well I don't think Wes meant that as an actual name, I say the "Laser snake horse on fire" thing was just a cheap shot on Cedar Fair's coaster names. Poppycock, my good lad. Wes obviously is in the know on this situation. Just add up the clues: 1. A teaser sign at the park mentions that "infrared detectors are in use," a sign that we are dealing with some spiffy technology. Score one point for "laser." 2. The media package mentions that "the park strikes back," and also has a bottle of "serum." We usually think of a snake as "striking" when it bites, and a serum would be used to prevent death from snake venom. Plus, eye of the creature in the crate definitely resembles the stereotypical snake eye. Score three points for "snake." 3. The email from Kings Island mentions "letting the horse out of the barn" and teaser signs around the park have said "Ride Sally Ride," an obvious reference to the song, Mustang Sally. Score two points for "horse." 4. It has already been revealed that the ride will end with a splashdown, which obviously would represent the laser snake horse's fire getting extinguished. Score one point for "fire." Add them up and what do you get? Laser Snake Horse on Fire! Cedar Fair is obviously trying to redeem themselves after creating embarrassing names such as Flight Deck, Drop Tower, and Night Hawk. Wes, thank you for leaking this insider information. This is the best post. I agree! People thought LSHOF was all fake and crap, but it's the most probable of them all! Can't wait for the shirt, Jared!

It's a Nikon D40. Time for some Disneyland pictures! Hm...which castle is really bigger? ....parade! Hiiiii everybody! Oh man...I thought this was a casual dress event! Grr....they said casual... It's okay, the lion king guys like to party. There were even crazy hats and tea! This guy showed up expecting a Mickey D's girl! And Mickey and Minnie finished up in their awesome castle! Hey they traffic is pushing us this way...let's check out Tomorrowland! Mm.....amazing food! After that there was a party up behind Thunder Mtn...so I can't find the pictures right now, but they had this Camp Rock thing going on, some awesome food, and VIP fireworks seating...I skipped that and went to ride Big Thunder, Splash Mtn, Space Mountain, and Indy! Well, the memory card messed up. I'll have to see if they even saved.. Now, we're back at the hotel! Reminded me of one of those pictures you see from the Travel Channel. Time for the best non coaster ride ever!!! Most ride times were to wait, get on, and get off. Awesome theming. "Snakes....you guys are on your own..." This....is the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Everyone I hear at the park says "Snake Bite" and "Snake Attack"

Well, I was coming out of the bank today and stopped to see a semi truck carrying out supports and what looked like a transfer track with tons of wheels underneath taken from the lot by FH to the construction. It was hilarious seeing them almost take out a few games after they needed to stop, back up, go foreword, then reverse to fit around everything. Can't wait for Wednesday! -JZ

Lucky! I've been wanting to get on one of those Mauhr (sp) Sohne (sp) spinners for soooo long. Maybe I'll get out to Spinning Dragons with my CF pass Can't wait for the Behemoth updates and reviews! Gotta love the TPR trip reports! -JZ

It wouldn't be so bad here in Ohio...humid, and it was 90 yesterday. Atleast 75-80ish last night! It was Delirium, Drop Zone, and Face/Off. Someone even put a "Face/Off" sign on Invertigo. Haha, I wish I had a pic.

(Take note all on ride pictures/videos were approved before riding) Yay, dark ride time! I liked this one. I think this will be our special transportation for the day. They even offered snacks before the ride! I was content with my churro, though. Monsters are so organized. NO STALKING, IT SAYS DON'T STALK! Hehehe. I like these guys. Mickey was outside! And he has a great pose, by the way. Meeper/Beeker was showing us how this contraption works before Muppets: 3D. Great guy, great guy... Incase you forgot what attraction we were at... Outside, there's an AMAZING barber shop quaret performing. Just great to listen to. GRRR! ANGRY FACE! But sweet melodies.. Amazing wieners. Under the bridge downtown, Is where I drew some blood. Aw, was everyone that upset I didn't go to Knott's? Here's more kickassery at Disney!!! Orange train seriously rocks. And that loop is really good! My first Intamin loop I liked it a lot. Oh yeah. So Disney believes in 36 second dispatches....I do too. It's just pretty, isn't it? Hehehehehe.....I'm in Disneyland. Mmm candy chorn. Yah! Look at meh, I'm a catipillar! A bunch of kiddie rides and over-sided objects...still a cool place! Oh, and a bunch of really pretty flowers. See! Everything's unusually large...what's that up there? Unusually large sign, oh. And I sense large amount of airtime. Oh, you can't get any prettier than that. I don't know, Robb wears blue pretty nice Enough sillyness, we have a check in time! Yup, at the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Close enough to Hollywood... But seriously, ToT is my favorite drop ride of all time. IMO, you just can't beat it! It's got a nice theme, great set up and Disney charm. And the ride...awesome effects and visual illusions, and the ride only has seat belts! The airtime is great, and it gives a taste of everything. Short drops, long drops, and space shot-esque launch and drops! Hope you all are enjoying! More updates to come!

How about....Laser Snake Horse on Fire ATTACK!?!

Here we go! I fought for the window seat....and won Ohh....rare view of Pacman Island! It's just pretty up in the sky. Oooh...even prettier! Beautiful entrance to the beautiful Grand Californian Hotel. Oooh...important stuff to help us have an amazing time! The main lobby. The views from our room! But it's already 12:30...and there's fun to be had! After settling down, we get some snacks and our tickets and head out to DCA! The entrance is right next to GRR and it takes less than 5 minutes to get from the room to the park....I wouldn't have it any other way the next time I come back! There's already fun being had over at GRR! What? A drop on a rapids ride?! Awesome! Start alll the way up there...and end way down here. Hm, they made a hotel after this place...it must be awesome! Woah, now that looks fun! Launch in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...!!!! Speeding at 55mph down that launch track! Duuude! Teens love it! As well as kids and adults! Smile! You're ad Disney's California Adventure! Oh, and watch your kids. The Sun Wheel gives a nice, relaxing ride.... As well as giving some nice views of the rides and attractions! I love that whole structure of Screamin' 3rd Row: "Hm...oh crap! 5 minutes until my fast pass expires!" "G Forces...messing with my watch!" "All this hairtime...it's getting to my eyes!" The Zephyr i......wait, is that a couch I see? Damn! That's how nice Disney is. Two icons of DCA in one. I win. And that's hardly the beginning! -JZ

I got drenched from head to toe 4/6 times. Waves of water splashing over, the 'leaks', and some geysers. The single rider line is awesome!!
