Banking transitions that are just wrong.
KrakenKing replied to nannerdw's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Um, wow... talk about feeling like you're going to get thrown out... I think Arrow coasters (Old) and Vekoma coasters (Old) have really bad transitions like that... where it banks on a straight away before the turn, and during the turn the banking stays the same until you come out of the turn... then it banks back to normal during a straight away... -

Yes, thank you for restating me :?

Well, supposidly they're going to make it a restraint failure... so the restraints would open up and people would be flung all over the place... and remember "House on Haunted Hill"?... the Hulk flew off the track in that movie... even though the effect of it was 5|-|!77Y... Gotta love my 1337 skills!

Where's that interview? I've never seen it, I've only seen the one with the story board director... and he said the premonition was going to be the Roller Coaster. About people wondering, why a roller coaster... As in the first final destination movies, they're playing with one of people's biggest fears. If you go to a theme park, and see someone staring up at the roller coaster, if you ask them why they're not going to ride, they'd probably tell you "I'm scared". If you ask why, many people answer "Because it doesn't seem safe". At school and just around I hear people saying "If it goes to slow through a loop, it will fall off the tracks", "What if the wheels fall off" or "What if the restraints open?". Of course, coaster enthusiasts know that the chance of the wheels falling off or the restraint opening is a billion to one (not including Intamin), but the GP doesn't understand this.

Yeah, I heard about this a few months back... still can't believe that they did all that work for one scene... that station looks good enough to be in IoA. Can't wait for this film though, I was a fan of the first two, cant' wait to see how the people die this time. I was a little confused too about the Roller Coaster preminition... I would've thought it would continue with the transportation "Theme"... Plane, Car... perhaps Train?

Hulk Hogan does go to USO, I have seen him twice... just found out he lived in Orlando as well :? Steven Tyler of Areosmith was at USO with his family, they went into that "Tell us about your time here" interview at the exit of the park... shouldn't he be at MGM riding RnRC? I've been told that several others have seen him around as well. -
Hated coasters you like.

Actually, I enjoyed the SLC and Boomerang coasters I have been on... Many people say they're rough, but I went on Hangman and Boomerang at "Wild Adventures" and they were smooth as glass. I'd have to put Hangman right up there with B:TR at SFoG in terms of intensity, but I found B:TR a bit more head-bangish (Though, I'm only counting two times I can remember where my head hit the restraint) -
Everyone knows what Orlando looks like... and so I won't bother posting pictures of it. (Even though I live in Winter Park, but this place is boring)

LoLz! Hmm, maybe next time you go you'll get a pic of me playing PSMO or some other crazy song on the DDR machine... UGH! IoA needs In The Groove or In The Groove 2! Much better music -
Man dies after 50 hours of computer games
KrakenKing replied to kat11joe's topic in Random, Random, Random
Longest gaming session I ever had was around 48 hours when "The Sims Online" first released... Now that the game has goen down the toilet, I don't play it anymore. The closest I've gotten to beating that record was 32 hours on "World of Warcraft"... I've stopped obsessive gaming though, so I spend no more than 10hrs straight playing a game... -
*Blinks* Very... interesting.. haha. Speaking of speedos, my friend has been dying to get me to wear one, even was willing to buy it (Or a man thong ) for my 18th b-day so I could just strip down randomly and show it... Eh, less than two weeks to deside, eep!

Sobe Energy Drink... they're delicious and energizing! Oh, also, this crap I get at a gas station on I-Drive in Orlando... Called "Wasps" or something... It says not to take more than 3 in a day (Yet it comes in a pack of four?) ... my friend and I each took two at once, big mistake, we were jittering for then next 4 hours. It was In The Groove on speed! We did get good scores though (In the 90%'s for mostly all of them) I have no clue what was in those pills, I'll find out next time I go.
