  1. I have been trying to find a wii. I call around to the stores everyday. The Ebgames and gamestop are getting/already have wiis. They are just holding on to them until Friday and sell them during Black Friday.
  2. Supposedly those three Burger King games can be played on the regular xbox too. I bought sneak king and pocket bike racer today. I have to go back for the last one tomorrow.
  3. I hope you all have fun on the cruise. I just went on my first cruise last month. I was on the Monarch of the sea. It was just a weekend cruise. It was a blast and because I went on to visit Fox Studios Baja in ensenada as our off shore excursion, I was able to walk on the X-men sets. Anyways have a lot of fun.
  4. I guess I have bad luck or something..... I just went to another wal mart and target and both are sold out of the wii. I even go there before opening. OH well, I guess I will wait a week or two.
  5. I just went to the super walmart in Dixon Ca. They sold out of the wii by 12:30. Supposedly they handed out tickets earlier in the day. I didn't think that they would be doing tickets. So I did not get a wii.
  6. I went to 3 different targets, 3 different walmarts and 2 best buys today. All had lines except for 2 of the targets. Most targets in my area are not allowing people to line up until Friday morning at 1 am. Tomorrow (actually later today) I am going to go check out a compusa and then my brother and I are going to see if we can get in line at one of those targets. We were 10th in line at the target that was allowing people to wait in line. But then they announced that they were only going to have 6 PS3. So we left.
  7. I graduated from California State University Sacramento or better known as Sac State with a BS in Business administration with an emphasis in management. I am currently back at school (at Sac State) to get my MBA in Human Resources. I do not remember the exact reason why I went there in the first place.... But I think it is a decent school. Speaking of school, I have to do an assignment that involves interviewing a manager. Anyone on here a manager that has dealt with an unruly employee? If so pm me, we can do the interview through email. Maybe I will post this as a new topic. Oh well.
  8. The Dreamcast was/is my favorite system. I used to play MvC2 on there all the time. It was also the first system that my friends and I learned to copy games to play (mostly the japanese games that did not make it out here). Of course I dont copy games anymore. But, Loader CDs are fun with them you can play burnt and foreign games. I have one for my gamecube too so I can play the japanese Naruto fighting games. I also remember that back in the day you could use the Dreamcast to go on the internet and it was free to do it too.
  9. Sorry cant meet then.... I will be out of town visiting relatives.
  10. I do not count Boomerang Bay as exciting. Every time I go to PGA I do not go on anything at Boomerang Bay...... I think the closest thing to exciting is that survivor ride that I have not been on yet. It was broken last time I was there and it didn’t look that great. But yeah, if you have a meet let me know and I will be there.
  11. I'd love to go but at the moment I can't. I am always looking for a reason to go to Disneyland. But right now I think I am going to Tahoe that weekend. If I get the AP for Disneyland that I told my wife that I want for Christmas. Then I will be able to go down there whenever in the future.
  12. I have seen these pictures before.... I even have some of the pictures saved on my computer. I think its sad and kinda cool to see. I wonder if the local kids go in at night or talk about the park as being haunted?
  13. Hey, I was searching around ebay for some art work to put up on my apartment and I found this. Now, I am not a huge fan of Six Flags but I thought someone might like this. I also thought it was cheap too. Hope you like it.
  14. I have driven past the safteyville. It doesnt look quite the same as this kidzonia.
  15. I was reading the message board when all of a sudden I heard "Theme Park" on the news. It was about Kidzania which is a new Theme Park in Tokyo Japan. Quote from the website listed below “The key word at Kidzania is “edutainment,” meaning an experience in which children can try their hand at working like grown-ups in various jobs in a safe, interactive and educational environment." http://www.japantoday.com/jp/feature/1150 I guess it might be fun for kids. No rides though. I think I would of liked it if I was young and maybe my school went there on a field trip.
  16. I drive buy this place all the time and yet you can not see any of these when you drive buy. All you can see is the new stores that they put in over there. I would love to go with you but I am going to be out of town. I will not be back until Monday.
  17. Either Medusa at SFMW or Top Gun at PGA. Both are great coasters. Top Gun now offers a video of your ride on Top Gun. Hopefully they will use the money to clean up the line queue which is horribly dirty.
  18. I have never been to one. However, I know some people who have participated in creating one. Usually you can see a little blurb about the local hell house in the news at some point during October.
  19. You can read my TR with some pictures here: www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=269007#269007
  20. We came back to from the car to this: We had to wait in line which was actually not too bad…..But we had to listen to this guy singing karaoke for like 30 min. We finally got into the event. On a side note this is the first theme park Halloween event I had been to. I once went to a Fright Fest at SF Marine World, however, there was no organization and people went crazy. People started jumping the front gates and they had to close the gates. In the end my group left without even getting into the park. Well anyways, It was raining and my wife and I went and bought some ponchos. When you get in there are zombie dancers in the front. And then you get to the scare zones. There are five scare zones: Dawn of the Dead, Old London, Black Death, Deadwood, Studio Center (which had the ScareActors of The Flasher and a Zombie Scarface). Also according to the map there are six shows: Slaughter World, Carnival of Carnage, The Mutaytor, Chucky’s Insult Emporium, Fear Factor Live: Dead Celebrity Edition, and Terminator 2: 3-D and there are six ttractions: Terror Tram: The Director’s Cut, Jurassic Park In the Dark, The Asylum, Universal’s House of Horrors, Revenge of the Mummy, The Ride, and Back to the Future. I thought all of the scare zones were nicely done. Here is a zombie bum Behind the sledge hammer zombie, you can see the WDED. That is the zombie Radio DJ that you get to hear around the park, however, you hear him the most on the escalators. In the first hour and a half of the event we were able to go through the scare zones, go through the asylum, see Chucky’s Insult Emporium, see a little of the Mutaytor, and Ride the Terror Tram. Here’s my Asylum Pictures Here’s the best picture that I could get of Chucky Here’s the Mutaytors The Terror Tram was my favorite part also this is where my camera started to have problems. The hosts of the tram went uncensored. It was funny and unreal to hear them using profanities. But the rest of the night turned out to be the same way. The tram takes you down to Whoville (which turns out to be insane clowns) and you get off on foot and get to walk through the Bates Motel, all the way to the War of the Worlds and then you get to go through the Mummy tunnel which sprays you with water. Here are the pics that my camera would take: After the Terror Tram we ate dinner and went and saw the Fear Factor Live Dead Celebrity Edition. It was an OK show the only funny people in it where the clowns. But as luck would have we sat down and then a group of four people sat right in front of us. It turned out to be Jahan, Elissa, Robb, and Mike. I introduced myself before they left. You guys missed the ending. But it is OK, the ending was bad anyway. After that, we went to Slaughterworld, which was just an uncensored version of waterworld. Not much was new and I was very disappointed by the show. We then decided to go down to ride JP at night. Which was the last thing we did. JP at night was good/bad. The first part of the ride was fun because there was light in all the good places to see dinosaurs. But as soon as you are taken to where the raptors/TRex is, you can not see a thing. But this was also made it for an exciting drop. You turn the corner in the dark and you know the drop is coming up but for me I did not exactly know when. So it was a little surprise. We left and went back to the hotel room. Also, here is an extra picture, my wife complains that I take too many pictures without people in it. So she made me take a picture with this woman: We slept in the next morning and drove to SFMM, which was our first time there. My wife was not feeling the best so we didn’t do too much. I got to ride colossus which was fun, goliath which was even more fun, Batman – which had the best themeing there, The Gold Rusher, and the viper which kinda hurt my chin. My wife started to feel bad so we left. Oh yeah we didn’t go on Riddler because it was a 2 hour wait, and tatsu was even longer but I have been on stealth at Great America before and I do not really care for the flying coasters much. In the end the trip was a lot of fun. Hey Robb, Elissa, Jahan, and Mike, maybe next time we are down there for something like this maybe we could actually do more than just say hi during a show. Ok its late and I finished my goal of typing up a report and I should go to sleep and just for laughs here is a funny picture that I had found in my picture files when I was posting up all these pictures:
  21. Hi everyone, This is my first trip report here and I would also like to warn everyone that I had camera problems for most of the trip so I selected the better pictures for the report. I have had a very busy week. Last weekend I went to Santa Cruz on Saturday with the wifey and relaxed but we did get to go on the Giant Dipper which is always fun. Sunday some friends got free tickets to Paramounts Great America and we went with them to the park. It was a fun little trip. I am not a big fan of GA because it is always dirty but I was looking forward to going on the new survivor ride but it was broken and closed. However, Top Gun is always fun to ride....... I did have pictures of these two small trips but my wife accidently erased them. Then this weekend, starting on Thursday, my wife and I went down to LA for the Halloween Horror Nights. We left on Thursday and we stayed at the Casa Resort Anaheim (used to be the Holiday-Inn at the park). The hotel looks like it is trying to change its image which I guess is nice. I just hope they keep the same room rates and the 24 hour pool and spa. Even though the hotel was next to Disneyland we did not go in Disneyland . We did go to Downtown Disney and ate at ESPN zone, where for the first time ever, I had a bad meal . Oh well, we did shop around where I took this: Can you guess which hat is mine? We then went back to the hotel and got ready for the next day. On Friday we woke up and decided to drive down the street to the Disney Outlet to see if anything was worth buying. All I found was a stormtrooper car window sticker that was worth buying, cost like $2. We then left to go to Universal Studios. We finally got there and parked and I got to walk through Citywalk, which was my first time doing that. Last time we went to USH we parked in the Frankenstein lot and didn't even go into Citywalk. See even Hulk hates the high movie ticket prices Since we had season passes for USH we went into the park early. (FYI if you have a season pass, the tickets for HHN are only $25) Seeing some of the horror stuff in the day light was nice. This is the Dawn of the Dead area in the day time More Dawn of the Dead I don't exactly know what this is supposed to be, but to me it looks like it is supposed to be the Hulk as a Zombie. We decided to go onto the tram ride to see if anything was changed for the HHN. The tram ride had a wait and it was a bad tram ride in the end. Because of the event you can not go by the Bates Motel, The War of the worlds set, or Whoville, and due to the filming down there you could not go through the city area. So the tram ride consisted of the western town, King Kong, jaws, earthquake and little Europe. It made my wife and I wonder why there was a wait for the tram to begin with. One of my favorite new shows I took this picture because the name plate right above their heads says R. Robinson which is my name. Also, believe it or not, we talked to the couple while standing in line and they got to the park late and paid $118 to be there for like 4 hours I couldn't believe it. When we got off of the tram, we went and saw Backdraft which I never saw before but it was boring and then we went on the mummy which had no line. So we went on twice and then went on JP. Which had pumpkins on the ride. We Went back upstairs and walked around some more and I took these: Chucky was being set up for the event ^This is all true. A random wolf We left the park to go get things from the car and come back for the event.
  22. I leave tomorrow to go down to LA and I am going to be there on Friday.
  23. So, is there going to be a TPR meet for USH halloween horror nights? I just wanted to know if it was going to be the same night I was going to be there..... we also decided that we will be going to SFMM on the 14th which will be our first time there. I am so excited!
  24. I have no clue which day would be more crowded. With my schedule right now, I am only able to make it on the 13th. So, I hope it is not that bad.
