Yeah, I'm definitely going midweek. I'm going sometime the week of August 13th, so I hope the crowds aren't too bad on a Tuesday or Wednesday during that time. What coaster should I do first?

Actually the S&S towers do use cables. There are cables on the bottom and top of the cars to pull them up and down.

Hey, it wasn't mine! I was eating my lunch and all of a sudden I hear loud cheers and people pounding the table swith their fists. I turn around and all I see is a bunch of balloons tied to a doll with boobs the size of my head being lifted to the roof. That was one of the highlights of my school year, if I do say so myself.

It probably could operate fine with one cable per car. The Vekoma Boomerangs use only one cable and it pulls up an entire train of 28 people.

I'm going with 3 other people (4 people including myself). If I buy a four person flash pass which, according to GAdv's site, will be $80. That's $20 per person, so it doesn't seem too bad.

^^I don't have a cell phone, so I couldn't take pictures. But I'm sure I could get some considering at least 100 people starting taking their cell phones out and taking pictures of it. Edit: Ah, I've found someone who had a picture!

Today was my last day of school before final exams start, so some of the graduating students brang in a blow-up doll and attached it to helium-filled balloons and let it fly to the roof in the cafeteria. The look on some of the teachers and lunch lady's faces were priceless.

How much does the flash pass cost?

My family and I are planning an August theme park trip and I have a question about SFGAdv. How are the crowds in mid August? Are the lines bearable or do I need a q-bot (or whatever those things are called)? I have to decide between either Hershey or GAdv. Considerig I really want to go to both, any info about Great Adventure's crowds in August is greatly appreciated and may help me decide between the two. Thanks

Right now I'm using Windows XP SP2 Media Center Edition. It's a good computer with some nice functions, but when this computer gets too old and crappy I'm seriously considering getting a Mac. Although switching to a Mac would give me some serious crtisism from friends and family.... I haven't used Macs recently as I only used them in elementary school. It took some time getting used to but I really liked the functionality and the programs it came with. As of right now I'm neutral about both Windows and Mac until I work with Mac some more, but with the limited time I did use them, I really liked them. So won't vote in this poll as of yet.

Some people count inversions according to the number of times the track flips, not the train. So if you use that 'method' of inversion counting, the boomerangs only have 3 inversions and the shuttle loops have 1. This is why Eejaniaka's record for 'most inversions' in the Guiness Book of World Records is very controversial, because the track doesn't invert 14 times, the seats do.

What if there is an end to the universe? What would be at the end? What if there used to be life on all other planets, but they ended up destroying themeselves with war and pollution? What if Earth will eventually became a giant ball of gas or barren wasteland like the other planets? What if there are hundreds of other planets orbiting around other stars, much like the planets in the solar sytem orbit around the sun(a star)? Why am I asking so many questions?
