Not nessasarily, My friend complained of back pains (which he has had all his life) after getting off thunder road at carowinds and the park sent him to the hospital on a stretcher just incase something was severly wrong. It was probably just a precautionary measure and the hospital had told the news that the injuries were minor.
AT carowinds for Hurler, if you must ride it sit in the first 2 rows for the smoothest ride (not entirely smooth but bareable)
And when it comes to snapping:
For the first full rotation from where you start to that same spot keep your fin facing outward (away from the center). After that point it toward the inside until you get as close as you are going to get then back outwards until you reach the apex of your swing and continue to do so. Good luck with snapping!
At Carowinds on a weekday it shouldn't be terribly crowded, but I have found personally that Hurler is best in the front or near the front, while Thunder Road forewards seems to be best near the back. The longest line will be for Borg Assimilator and I reccommend you hit it right at opening or right at closing (I have always had close to walk-ons on most of my visits right at closing.
"What is your name?"
"sir galahad from the knights of the round table (or something like that)"
"What is your quest?"
"To seek the holy grail"
"What is your favorite color?"
"red... No! no blue!, Aghhhhh!"
wow that looks awesome for what I remember. I was just there for the first time a week ago. Its too bad you cannot change great bears helix to look more realistic though.
I havent been on very many flat rides right now unfortunately, but of what I have been on I like Flyers and Inverting ships for small(er) and any drop tower for large
Hello! My name is Collin. I have been lurking around on this site for almost a year now and finally decided to post here. My home park is Carowinds, I also work at Carowinds in Merchandise but I am thinking about moving to rides soon. As of right now I have been on about 67 roller coasters but by this summer I plan to have gone on over 100 total. If anyone is visiting Carowinds please feel free to come and say hi!
