  1. YOU SO ROCK! Well, thank you!
  2. I am a loser and I'll go with you when it opens. I cannot wait to ride this. After seeing it in person in February, I got really excited about it. It looks amazing.
  3. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=593271784&ref=profile This is my profile. Add me. I approve most everyone.
  4. All time favorite show: The Twilight Zone Other favorites: Twin Peaks Frasier How I Met Your Mother Get Smart The Dick Van Dyke Show Wonderfalls Six Feet Under Whose Line Is It Anyway? (british) Monty Python's Flying Circus Kids In The Hall A Bit of Fry and Laurie The Avengers The Prisoner
  5. I fully agree with this statement. I also was lucky (read unlucky) enough to have a front row seat as well. This video was quite entertaining, but no where near "Winnie the Crap."
  6. From the conversations I've had with John I do believe that he is an engineer of the park full time. --Robb This is correct. He is my mom's cousin. Knoebels is his full time job.
  7. This is my current favorite. It cracks me up. Skeezer Salad A whore. Must be two or more to be considered a Salad. Otherwise, they are simply a Skeezer. Group girls walking down the street in a short skirt, tube top and heels, strutting her stuff. Example: "She's a Skeezer" Example: "No, its a Skeezer Salad!!!"
  8. Now that's more like it! My ears still aren't quite bleeding yet, but it's getting there. I must say I quite enjoyed that song! What does it say that I want to hear more of Dave's music? Also, I love that Judas Priest song!
  9. I love fish! That was completely amazing. And oddly entrancing too. I could totally see how that would keep a child entertained.
  10. I might have to check that out. I LOVED The Prisoner. It's definitely one of my all time favorite shows also. And if it's not good, I'll just watch the McGoohan series again. I'll have to finish Dr. Syn this weekend in tribute. Chuck, I can definitely see how the Scarecrow would be terrifying. I love the Disney Treasures line for putting these out. It's on the DVD exactly as it was broadcast with Walt's intros and everything just like on the Disney's World of Color.
  11. I was very sad to find out the other night that Patrick McGoohan died. I absolutely loved The Prisoner. And I'm in the middle of watching Dr. Syn: Alias the Scarecrow, which is pretty amazing so far. And Chuck, He just might wake up in The Village.
  12. This is the greatest trip report ever, Dave! It was an amazing trip. I didn't want to go back home when it was over. I love my photo with Ice Bat!! Looking forward to more insanity on the West Coast Trip!!
  13. Hey Roxanne! Great photos! It was great getting to see you again on the SFGAd day, even if we did get rained out. I love your TR. And can't wait to see you again next year on the West Coast tour!!
  14. Large Test 2 played perfectly on my computer. I do have lags occasionally on YouTube, etc. My internet speed seems to vary. Today's test results: Download Speed: 2971 kbps (371.4 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 315 kbps (39.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
  15. The large video looked clearer, not significantly, but I did notice a difference. The large one lagged a couple of times and the small one only once. The small one loaded much quicker on my computer.
  16. I'm sad to see this coaster going. It was my first coaster and it packs quite a punch for what is essentially a kiddie coaster. I know it surprised some people on the East Coast trip. That said, it has been at Knoebels since 1955 and was their first coaster. I don't think it's a bad move to replace it. It has been in pretty bad shape lately. As for the Golden Nugget rumor, that would be cool if Knoebels got that. It sounds like something that would be a great fit for the park.
  17. Great photos, Natalie! I love EPCOT. I too bypassed the family thing for Thanksgiving and spent the day at Islands of Adventure with some of my TPR friends. Theme parks on major holidays are the best places to be. Although, Universal was exceptionally busy this year. I love the TR so far, Natalie. Can't wait to see more.
  18. Well, it's good to know that it's not painful, at least.
  19. It's been working great for me!
  20. ^I find that difficult to believe also and absolutely terrifying. I can't wait to find out because of course I'm going to ride it. I forgot in my last post to say, "Yay for being mildly irresponsible!"
  21. Do you think we'll find any as horrible as Wild Beast? Yay! Robbie's on the trip too!!
  22. ^I am so excited too!!! I really can't wait for August. I get to go to California, Disneyland, and see a bunch of awesome people again!
  23. We were so stupid to ride Dudley that day. I believe I even screamed out after getting drenched on the first drop, "Why are we so stupid?!!!" I have to admit it was seriously fun getting soaked though and riding. The Xcelerator dryer in the bathroom worked better than the $3 dryer. It was warm in the $3 dryer though. I also hate those lap bars. They are so ridiculous and you have to contort yourself under them. I love the random weird faces me and my friend, Kathi, are making in the photos though. I absolutely had a blast though. It was a great Thanksgiving!!
  24. Awesome photos so far, Scott. Ice looks really amazing. I wish I could have been there for that, but I had a blast Thanksgiving day and today. It was great seeing everyone again and meeting Mike. I can't wait for our next trip anywhere!
