RCT3 Volcania Island
Ccron10 replied to Ccron10's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
YEAR #0 Construction Pt. 1 Guests will enter the island through this building. It also doubles as a ticket gate. There also a seperate dock for loading goods on to the island. That warehouse will store them until the go on to the store shelves. Just past the entrance building is the Guest Services/ Season Pass office. Across from it is the Volcania Island Gift Shop. The fountain in the middle is a prime meeting place for families. All of the shops in the park will always have their shelves stocked. You can see the park's volcano from anywhere on the island. Main Gate Restrooms. There will be many of these information centers throughout the park answering any questions the guests may ask. They also give out maps! This is one of many paths that lead to the Boardwalk. This stretches all along the eastern shore. One of the many food stands. Thrashers will be a very popular stand. There's also going a lot of stores too. Albert's T-Shirt Shop is one of them. When the park opens, 2 areas will be built. The Boardwalk and Pirate's Lagoon which has yet to be built. Hmm. What could they be building here? Stay Tuned and find out! -
They also had ECWW's supports laying there last year. Anything behind LR, RS, and Music Express could be where the pieces be. Someone went out to the park today and said they saw 2 cranes, a moble crane was in the northern employee lot and a larger one in pieces along with some portable lighting systems. WCO should be coming down soon.

Since I was thinking of taking a break from my Hp creation because I'm going to the park in 2 weeks. In the mean time I'm starting a new creation. It's going to be like Wilderness America in the way of being realistic, but the park will be on a island with a volcano. I don't have time to post a full update, but I will later or tomorrow, so stay tuned! Here's a teaser pic. More to come!

^ That'd be cool, but don't forget about the new employee parking lot across the street. ^^ Look, let's just drop any Nantimi conversation right here, this thread is for what's coming next year, not a website where some fanboy probably made to play with us. ^^^ I might be going in 2 or 3 more weeks and I plan on taking a lot of pictures. I'll try to see what I can find. What about a Intamin ZacSpin? In a way it is similar to Terbulance.

These guys didn't just ruin it for themselves, but depending on how many trains were running and how many guests were on the ride and waiting in line, they ruined it for everyone. Here's something new, apperantly the guy is a member over at another coaster site! Shouldn't have security caught the screwdriver if the guy was taking it into the park?

I'll try to configure a new shorter and simpler layout, but I still want to try at making it unique and areobatic. To do this I'm thinking of keeping the existing lift, but making nothing on the newer layout above 1 ft and also keeping the ride short. I don't plan on adding any loops and tall hills, just a low zero-g-roll or two and a few small over banked turns similar to the ones on Maverick, but lower.

It's official! Western Chute Out has been removed from the park's lineup of water rides. http://www.hersheypa.com/attractions/hersheypark/rides/results.php?rh=99&pa=99&rt=2 Wait a minute, it's still there! Along with the Chaos page! It's just hidden. http://www.hersheypa.com/attractions/hersheypark/rides/detail.php?id=31&Submit2.x=23&Submit2.y=8&Submit2=Search Rodeo seens to be spared for next year.

We've actually changed our mind about the guide wheels and made some small modifications to the station to do this. There's going to be a bracket attached to each wheel assembly where a 3/8" plastic wheel will be attached. There will be pins running through each of the wheels attaching to the brackets. We hope to start of donig the arms, and seats tomorrow night.
-
I was going to post this up a couple days ago, but I never got around to it. This is a view of the cars. There will be no side wheels because of space and the seats are going to hang down along the sides of the cars. That light blueish bar is the track, but it's not the actual color of the track. Speaking of seats, that what we plan on designing tonight. Stay Tuned. The front part of the car rotates from side to side.

They look good, but most of them hang on the walls instead of sit on the floor. -
Hersheypark on RCT 3
Ccron10 replied to Ccron10's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^ I've said this a few times, the version that comes with the game won't fit, it's too big. UPDATE #31 Western Chute Out Completion I worked all day adding supports and the station to the ride. The whole ride is a pool complex and they are both water slides. The only thing missing is the return lift. The new 2008 banner is also added, execpt that I couldn't find the new 2008 logo, so I used the 2007 logo instead. Coming soon... Canyon River Rapids, The Boardwalk!, and Midway America. The ending is coming.... Detail is always important. It looks so real, too bad it's being removed next year! lol -
September 4th. All the kids from Kindergarten up to 8th started today.

I like the cars, but I don't get the concept of them. You're still going to have an obstructed view in the second row depending on which car. The layout looks like it could produce some airtime, but on first sight it reminded me of Nitro a little. Looks great though.
