  6. Im friends with Mark Richardson's cousin.... Mark is the drummer from jolly good pop-rock group Feeder! And also Skunk Anansie. Also, my band is being mentored by the drummer from Embrace! Hes cool lol
  7. Well, it seems YET ANOTHER goddamn sequel to the totally-exhausted Final Destination franchise has been vomited onto cinema screens. Ew.
  8. Good lord. Nazis, eh? For shame Robb.
  9. ^ No problem, it took me forever to figure out!
  10. Make a long section of plain track. Go the Auto-Support menu. Uncheck the 'clear previous structure' box. In the same options window, de-select everything that doesn't say 'catwalks' by it, so ONLY Catwalks Left and Right are checked. Check the 'Generate Final' box and then click ok. Move the beams out of the way, and repeat as many times as you want! The rest, you can figure out
  11. ^^ They are generally for rollercoasters, not specifically to No Limits. Pumping: Where a curved piece of track (horizontal or vertical) does not have a consistent radius, making the ride seem bumpy.
  12. Just practise and experience really! You can judge track shape and banking much better with more experience.
  13. Hysteresis (brakes): How much over the speed limit the train must go before brakes are activated on a given section. Eg. If the speed limit is 10mph, and the hysteresis is 3mph, the train must be going 13mph or more to activate that brake section. Also, the train will then be slowed to 3mph below the speed limit. To have a more sensitive brake section, have the Speed Limit and Hysteresis values closer together.
  14. I'm getting my A-level results in 15 minutes!! For those of you across the pond who may not understand, this is SERIOUS-ass s**t.
  15. ^ Well it seems that people like different characteristics of different companies, so why not slam 'em all together and see what happens!
  16. Well Gravity Group, as far as i know, haven't made a coaster with a twisting first drop... But then again, if you look at a POV of Voyage their coasters hardly need it! I guess my woodies are kinda of inspired by TGG and other companies, but they always turn out kinda unique, a bit like my own take on a TGG woodie. Neh, it seems to work ok!
  17. Apologies for the double-post, but i tried to upload the video to Coastertube... the video file uploaded but the page took over an hour to refresh, and when i tried to access my account the page never loaded. Is there anyway you can help, Robb?
  18. That gave me a migraine.... Well, the vertical Gs definately stayed green.
  19. After a total of A WHOLE HOUR in the making, here is my latest twisted creation. It comines constant speed with strong laterals and simply fabulous airtime (especially at the top of the turnaround!), TGG-style! This time, I included a video for non-NL users. Wheeee! EDIT: The video doesn't quite display properly. Darn. 1992_The Spirit of Andrew.nltrack Download, comments vastly appreciated! Overview... goodness?? Airtime goodness Twisty goodness Turnaround goodness Stacked-turn goodness 1992spiritofandrew_0004.wmv POV Video!
  20. ^Oh yeah of course i realise that, i just mean that he didn't just throw a bunch of track together and called it a coaster. You know what i mean!
  21. Hmmm... i think the lifts need to be taller (or the loop smaller and more Schwarzkopf-shaped) but the ride in general is completely retarded and relatively well thought-through! ALso, support work was very good and is something a few of us can learn from. I look forward to seeing more from you!
  22. I wouldn't be so sure. That kind of attitude is just begging for a bad review! Post a few screenshots (like the rules state, which you definately seem to have read, hint hint) and maybe you will start to see people rate your ride.
  23. By the way, you don't have to zip tracks you upload here, it's much easier just to upload the track file rather than have it compressed first! Lets see what this thing can do.... Well, it is very smooth, VERY smooth. I think your overall trackwork will improve over time, as will your judgement of banking and such, but for now i would say this was a pretty good attempt at a wooden-twister. Don't forget to put a brake run at the end of the ride though! Kiddie coasters go straight into the station like your coaster does, but that's only because they are slow enough to have the brake run IN the station! I would like to see you have a go at an out-and-back coaster, something with quite a few hills and big turnarounds. Keep it up!
  24. I love green day's old songs so much, but why the hell call an album "1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours"?
