  1. Well I think harder than being into paintball is someone like me and my partner who like to watch extreme sports (skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, etc.) but both cannot stand any general sports! We also listen to extreme metal (black, death, thrash, hardcore, etc.) Try finding many of those type gays!
  2. ^^From what I heard, the trains are already on site and are back behind the amphitheatre. I have not seen them as of yet though. Was there yesterday and it is looking really awesome. All the track work is done, the tunnel was closed in, some of the theming is up and a lot of the station house is done already. It shouldn't be too much longer before they start testing.
  3. Me and 9 of my best friends will be there bright and early on Sunday morning! I hope most people ride it on Friday and Saturday giving us more time to ride on Sunday. I cannot wait...I think it is going to be the highlight of our Texas trip!
  4. ^Hmmmmm.....SF Great Adventure maybe? LOL We were there yesterday and got to see/ride the new train also.
  5. ^ Well I can tell you that Batman and Mindbender will only be running one train until mid-April so I would hit those first. And Superman takes forever to load so I would hit that early too. As far as the rest of the rides you should be ok. But like a previous poster said, get there before the park opens and be at the gate when it opens and you should have no trouble getting the credits in fairly quickly.
  6. I go to the park on a regular basis as it is close to my house. My friends and I were there for opening day. We got there at 9:30 and the lines for parking were already atrocious! It took us about 20-30 minutes just to get through the parkling lines. We knew we were in for trouble when we saw the parking lot already over half full. One of the guys had to buy a ticket and stood in a line for almost an hour. For the sake of being long winded, we were there from 10-5 and I only got to ride Goliath which was an hour wait right after the park opening. They were only running one train on Ninja, Mindbender and Batman. I heard reports of 5 hour waits for Batman. For me, it wasn't a huge deal since I live so close to the park and am a season pass holder and go every weekend but for others....well I will just say go look at the SFOG Facebook page and you will see. I have never seen an opening day like that and I have been every opening day for the past 4 years. I think where it went awry is that they advertised the hell out of it on FB and were not really prepared for the response. I went again yesterday and it was great. Low crowds, rode everything we wanted and the lines weren't that long at all. Mindbender was about 30 minutes but that was because of single train operation. Other than that it was a great day. BTW, Dare Devil Dive looks great standing against the blue sky and I also took a few pictures with the track in the parking lot. I will try to post those soon!
  7. Yeah, they have done all of this in just a week's time. I can't believe how fast it is going up.
  8. Heights and spiders are my major fears. Although riding stuff like I-305 is helping me get better with the height thing.
  9. I love horror movies but I can't say that I have seen a lot that totally disturbed me although I can't deal with rape scenes. The one in The Hills Have Eyes and especially the one in Monster(with Charlize Theron) were pretty rough. I also can handle lots of gore but the first Hostel had some scenes I could hardly watch like when the guy was burning the girls eye out with the blow torch=ROUGH! I think I can say that Hostel is the only movie that was pretty disturbing to me. Although, come to think of it, as far as scary, Vacancy and The Strangers were pretty terrifying. Anything that can happen in real life is much scarier!
  10. I will be riding it on Easter Sunday! Dear God let the park be dead!
  11. SWEET! I had already planned a texas trip that weekend with 9 of my buds and it happens to be the weekend it is opening. I am soooo excited! First time to the Texas parks and I get to ride Texas Giant on Sunday. This couldn't have worked out more perfectly!
  12. Well we live in Georgia so it isn't legal here yet but that isn't going to stop us from doing it. We feel that it is not up to the law to tell us we can't marry each other just because they don't like it. We love each other and want to spend our life together and that is what matters most!
  13. Thank you guys so much! We really appreciate it! To jynx, yes, he loved Sheikra and he was totally shocked by the engagement. He didn't suspect it at all and he busted into tears and then made me shed a few. It was amazing!
  14. I am sure that I have posted in this thread before but I am gay. My partner and I just got engaged at Busch Gardens, Tampa two weekends ago under SheiKra's first drop, after his first ride. It was an amazing day!!!
  15. I was there on Saturday of this past weekend and it was pretty busy. Had it not been for having a Quick Que we wouldn't have gotten to ride as much as we did. Earlier in the day it was decent but mid-late day it was pretty busy. Sheikra line was at least an hour, Kumba was probably about 30 minutes, Gwazi was 45 minutes, Scorpion was about 40 minutes. Sad that Montu was down but at least we got to ride Sheikra 5 times and Kumba 3. I will have to say that I was none too impressed with the MF's on Gwazi. I love GCI and MF's but I still thought that even though the ride was better, it was still pretty rough. Not what I was hoping for....
  16. OMG! Can't wait to ride this thing on our Texas trip this year...I just got giddy like a little school girl!
  17. I have ridden Medusa (West), Kraken and Dominator and out of the three, Dominator won hands down. I thought the other two were really boring. But I will ride Hydra and S:KC this year so I will have a more definitive answer after that.
  18. Dang those new trains are looking sexy as hell! They kept the look of the old trains and took it up a notch by getting Millennium Flyers. Yet another reason why BGT is my favorite park ever. Good job BGT! Can't wait to ride these puppies!
  19. Funny that we just talked about this because I had one last night. I had a dream that I rode Dare Devil Dive (even though it isnt built yet) and of course it was in POV mode. But the whole coaster was inside a building and there were a bunch of ACE'rs there and my friend and I were the only ones that got to ride it because it was media day. LOL
  20. Yes, I have coaster dreams occasionally and they are all in POV mode. I think it is from watching all of the RAW series DVD's so much.
  21. I rode Gwazi for the first time in 2007 and it was pretty rough but still rideable. I went back and rode it again in 2009 and I only rode one side because it was so unbearable. It was as bad, if not worse, than Georgia Cyclone/Hurler roughness. I have been hoping all along that they would get MF's. I heard they were retracking the whole ride and if that is true, combined with MF trains this thing could be a top 10 wood contender. I guess we will see what happens! It makes me excited to ride it again!
