  1. Goliath - Walibi World during the Fright Nights.
  2. Here is my part of the Fright Night pictures. As mentioned above I arrived at Walibi at 10 in the morning and bought some RIP passes for Benny. It was very odd that they still sold them since they were sold out on the internet. There are three Haunted Houses at the Walibi Fright Nights. 1. House of Shock. Since Dr. Shock died last year his patients are running free throught his house/hospital. IMO it didn't change that much since last year when Dr. Shock was still alive. A few opening scenes did change. They give free cake for his funeral and the first room was a condoleance room. Walibi really should change this house. Next year Eddie should rule this place. 2. Club Roxy. Club Roxy is set as an huge underground Club. The queue area is amazing. There is even a bar where you can buy beer and Jagermeister. The house itself didn't change that much but it's really good and a great room with strobo's and fences. And as Benny mentioned the outside part is very cool. 3. Eddie's Circus of horror. My personal favorite this year. Maybe because it is a whole new house but some of the scenes were really good. On to the pics. Since I arrived in the morning I've got some daytime pictures too. I'm sure about that. ^ Out of captions. Wow that's way too close. ^ ^ Some actors near the exit. Some more bar. Some more queue. Thumbs up for that awesome idea Walibi. Ahhh Beer!!! and it even got it's own bar. It got an amazing queue area. Next up Club Roxy. And she found one. She was indeed looking for a husband. ^ Some more actors at Carnival of Freaks. Harvest theming. New for this year a SLC test seat. At the queueline of Eddie's Circus they played his own short movie and some other great video's like Anita Meyers Why tell me Why and the fraggle rock. Eddie's Circus sign. 2. Awesome ride. 1. Awesome Ride Operator. Beetlejuice show. Next up two awsome pictures for obvious reasons. Even Freddie showed up. Awesome. The walk of death scare zone was new this year or I didn't saw it last year. It was a great scare zone. Welcome at Dr. Shock's funeral. Hot chick. Queue area actors at the House of Shock. Carnival of Freaks overview. And put him/her in his coffin. This man picked a random person. Carnival of Freaks scare zone. Creepy. Crap she is. Or is he/she. Maybe he is. Is he a scare actor? ^ ^ ^ I got some weird onride pics. We did some rides too. A set at the Harvest scarezone. Some random theming. Eddie's Circus Entrance. At Eddie's circus they sold some merchandise in queue area. Here was Eddie a lot better. Eddie's Try or Die show. i didn't saw it but I heard it was crap.
  3. Don't give me too much credits. Great pictures. I will post mine in this same thread this evening. ----Hans
  4. 1. all three 2. IE 6 3. I had to wait till 70% was downloaded then they played with no buffering. But when I try to play them immediately it started buffering every 5 or 10 seconds. 4. Great just great. -----Hans
  5. Let's take a closer look at that first element. It's such a cool banked turn.
  6. The first element is completed and they are almost finished with construction of the loop. That first element looks so weird!!
  7. Tomorrow I will be rocking out in Amsterdam with Volbeat For anyone who don't them -> Official website
  8. Yesterday it rained big time. 100 mm during the day. Next saturday will be nice and sunny at 20º Celsius. So that will be fine for the Walibi World Fright Nights.
  9. ^ I thought you were serious too. Maybe I can combine all your tips and make it a mini trip.
  10. ^ Yeah thank you for the tip. But hey that would be a waste when I'm planning the scandinavian trip next year.
  11. Hi everyone, I need some information. Each year we're planning a trip to Disneyland Resort Paris during the winter period. But this year we we're thinking to go to a different park but are there any european parks open at the end of january/beginning of february? I don't mean the smaller parks but a park that is worth visiting for 3 or 4 days. All of your suggestions are welcome. ---Hans
  12. BGE was my favorite park on our USA trip back in may. Cool report thanks for sharing.
  13. That exit only works when it's pitch black outside. Last year I saved it for last and it was awesome but when you enter Club Roxy straigt at 6 pm then that whole experience will be lost. ----Hans
  14. Wow That really looks awesome. I'm so glad that we have such a good Halloween event in Holland. I'm planning to go on October 11th. The only thing that can stop me is some really bad weather. ----Hans
  15. This will be my 3rd vistit in a row now and it's getting better every year. The biggest fear will be the weather though.
  16. ^ me too Are you listening to Kinkfm too.
  17. ^ Yeah that indoor section got me totaly by surprise too. It really was awesome.
  18. What's wrong with a beer stand every 100 feet.... maybe you will ran out of beer or something. Frank come to europe you can drink here when you're 16. ---Hans
  19. Empty in speak of crowds or empty in speak of rides. Cause it was damn crowded that day....
  20. ^ Yes it is a short ride but is longer than just lift-drop-station. Actually it's lift-drop/helix-small hill-last turn-station. ----hans
  21. ^ My fault posted the same picture. There is the last turn.
  22. Hi everyone, I visited Heide Park Soltau in Germany last sunday and it was awesome, busy but awesome. I really didn't know what to expect from this park. The only thing I did know that there was some Intamin wood that needed to be ridden. There were parts of the park that were themed very well and some other parts that didn't had too much love. After all I liked Heide Park very much. The (main)coasters: Colossos broke down early in the morning and after it opened up again it was only operating one train. Later in the afternoon they put up the second train again. Nevertheless the ride was great. Not as awesome as El Toro but it had plenty of air. The only thing that it made less enjoyable was the roughness through the turns. Desert Race was operating one train the whole day. So that line was about an hour. The ride itself did disappoint a little. It was some good fun and there was some air but I found it too short or at least too short to make it a number 10. I do like the Intamin Mega or Mega lites better. That launch was pretty awesome though. So enough blah blah on to the pics. Desert race How can I post a Photo TR without a Rapids ride.... Thanks for reading and see ya next time around. Last turn. The blue train was too shy to come out of the garage. Desert Race station. Wow through the station pic. Leave you out with some more Desert Race pictures. Why do all the germans have beer bellies? Another small weenie guy. For all you monorail fanboys. Last turn into the station. First drop. Kiddie credit time. Lifthill shot. We got lucky with the weather. Obvious station pic. Yep I count powered coaster. Easy decision. Last Colossos pic. The worst part of the ride is probably the helix. I don't believe that! Yep she is huge. Back to some more Colossos pics. I never thought a SLC could look so damn sexy. Actually this part of the ride was... well smooth for a SLC. Dark clouds are gathering. Couldn't get it on camera. Those rides are so damn fast. Ah another Vekoma top model. Double loop, double corckscrew and a helix. But this one has a much smoother ride and I love the old Arrow trains. Cause it has the same elements. Noted. The dutch GP will call this a Python clone. Up to Vekoma land. Small sausage. Big sausage. Mr. ALi-B N Gator wants to be in this great report too. There was a nice little beergarten. OMG they are growing grass on a roof. It got a great indoor part. But hey that's just my opinion. The best Bob in the world IMO. Yeah thats much better. Look how train behaves through the helix. This picture is better with a train in it. (credit 180). The Mack Bob was great. Just like the station building. See. It look liked they got it synchronised. The best part of the ride. You didn't get too wet from the splash but on your way back to the station you get soaked from the splash of the boat coming down. And a owl up front. The ride itself rocked. It had a monkey on the back. The left guy reminded me of another crazy german. Queue line for Wildwasserbahn II (nominated for the most original ride name ever) And the gyro drop tower Scream. Well I forget to take a picture of the ride itself. And some crazy germans striking their national colors. There are some other rides too. Like an observation tower. As I mentioned that launch was pretty awesome. Right next door was Desert race. This was not so awesome. See happy faces. Back to the happy thoughts again. After it opened up it ran awesome. The next thing they did was running it with emptt trains. That train got evacuated later on. This was the first thing we saw that morning. Safety first. So we had to check the height guide. On arrival. We had to drive for four hours so we had to leave home at 6 am.
  23. It's so confusing is it Mack or Intamin.... They started construction of the Top Hat.
  24. That park have almost the same rides as Ponypark Slagharen in the Netherlands. Very cool Schwarzkopf rides.
