Adrenaline_Rush replied to Adrenaline_Rush's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I agree to the if they werent safe thing, Im sure there perfectly safe the riders just need to be healthy. Via the warning signs before the ride. So I am going to skip Montu, because I have that feeling throughout the WHOLE ride, except when negative G's are pulled! -
Blood Rush...
Adrenaline_Rush replied to Adrenaline_Rush's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
ok thanks -
I didnt know which topic to put this in so sorry if I have misplaced this. When I ride rides with your feet below you hanging (Montu, Nemisis, etc.) I have this wierd feeling whenever Positive G's are pulled, it feels like all the blood is being rushed to my feet, or as if my feet are going to be pulled right out of my shoes, is this a bad thing, or is it just a regular feeling that comes with the ride. Please anyone with an answer, tell me before Saturday (when I ride Montu) Thanks, Caleb

I saw it the first day it came out, at the first showing at 12:01. 2nd worst of them all. Here's why. They extend every scene into crap thats useless, they leave out all the good parts in the books, the whole movie leads up to this extremely short (yet cool) fight & chase scene, they could have extended it much longer, the whole concept is pretty dull if you've never read the books, I give it 2/5 stars. I want a refund! And the lady didnt even give me back my movie stub to prove I went to see it...

Post your recipes for some good old home cookin' Share tips for cooking, ask questions, anything to do with food. My Recipe - Orange Potatoes (nothing to do with sweet potatoes) This is something my mom made for me when I was just a toddler. And she still makes it for me today, we call it Orange Potatoes (no association with sweet potatoes.) Ingredients: 1/2 Stick Butter, 1 Pouch Of Sazon Goya - Con Azafran Seasoning, Pre - Cut Potatoes Utensils: Fry Pan, Spatula Cooking Steps: 1. Turn stove on to medium heat 2. Add half stick of butter (wait for it to melt before moving on) 3. Add Sazon Goya seasoning to butter 4. Add Potatoes 5. Move the potatoes around to spread the seasoning 6. After 3 - 4 minutes flip the potatoes 6. Move the potatoes around to spread the seasoning 7. Let cook for 3 minutes while moving them around 8. Plate the potatoes 9. Enjoy My Tip - Grilling When grilling to add some extra pizzazz to your dish, throw some herbs into the fire, this will create a nice smokey flavor. My Question - Cracking Eggs I heard that the better way to crack an egg is on a flat surface, is this true? And do you know why?

It looks like those 2 hills after the station are a little to steep and high, might I suggest stretching them out a little bit more...Other than that, I see no flaws. -

----Blizzard Beach---- ~`~`~`~FL~`~`~` To start the day off, my family woke up around 7:30 A.M. Showered, got dressed, and hopped in the car by 8:15. We got on to 27, exited on to 192, drove down aways, and took the exit ramp straight into Disney, followed the signs and arrived by 8:45. While waiting to get in I was offered the oppurtunity to draw with sidewalk chalk, on the Blizzard Beach grounds by an employee. After doing this we went inside, got situated with the lockers, found the designated area to meet the "parental unit" and like a horse out of the gates we were off! First off - Teamboat Springs, my sister and I waited 5 minutes in line to ride. We had to join another party to ride since you need a minimum of 4 people to ride. Positives - The ride fills up with water, and is a nice amount of wetness, the ride being so long makes it more enjoyable. The dips when going backwards give some nice "floater air" on a water ride! Negatives - The ending has this nice drop then a turn to slow you down and the whimpiest drop into water after that, if they reversed this to make it a small dip turn then huge drop, that would make it more exciting, also the water isnt deep enough when you get out of the raft, which somehow makes it harder to get out. Second - Runoff Rapids single rider (enclosed tube.) we waited a good 10 minutes to get on, minus the time it took us to get up the staircases. We rode single rider for the enclosed tube. Positives - You cant see where you are going, the turns slosh the water around and you get soaked, some unexpected dips gave off some nice "airtime" yes "airtime!" Negatives - The stairs are a killer pain to walk up, even if your a fit person, its tiring, there is so much water in the tunnel that its like drowning you in a tube until the end. Third - Downhill Double Dipper we waited around 30 minutes, for one of the most underestimated rides in the world. Positives - Extremely fast paced, nice "floater air," the waterfall hits you by suprise, the splashdown threw me off the tube! Negatives - This ride has no negatives Awesome Add Ons - This ride has this floor in front of you that raises to stop you from going, and it releases on both sides at the same time for an even race, it also times you to tell you who won! Fourth - Snow Stormers we waited 20 minutes to ride, for an amazing mat ride. Positives - Fast, sharp turns, nice dips, awesome splashdown! Negatives - Some dips throw you to the side then you land on your arm and it hurts, I almost lost my mat. Fifth - Slush Gusher I waited 30 minutes for a fast, freaky ride. Positives - Amazing sensation of freefalling down the last hill, over the dips you get this little pop of "airtime," The splashdown soaked me! Negatives - Too short of a ride, it hurts your back just a little bit. Sixth - Summit Plummit I waited 35 minutes to ride this extremely fast water ride. Positives - The amazing freefalling sensation Negatives - Hurts your back alot, way to short of a ride, the ride operator didnt even care or instruct 1st timers on what to do, Biggest wedgie ever! Seventh - Teamboat Springs (again) I waited 5 minutes to ride Teamboat Springs, I also joined a group without my sister whom I met on the chairlift. Positives - The ride gets faster during the day Negatives - The ending... ----Favorite Ride---- Downhill Double Dipper ----Least Favorite Ride---- Summit Plummit ----Most Acceptable Amount of Wetness---- Slush Gusher ----Least Acceptable Amount of Wetness---- Teamboat Springs Overall I found my day enjoyable, I went home soaked, and I approve this waterpark an acceptable amount of wetness!

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
Adrenaline_Rush replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Space Mountain MK FL. around 8:00 P.M Start of Summer...I CRAVE A ROLLERCOASTER!!!! And tommorow Im going to Blizzard Beach, not really rollercoasters but It'll do.... -
I'd like the house too. I mean you are constantly scaring people. And they GIVE you places to hide. Outdoors you have to look for your prey, and then sneak up on them, and if you do it wrong you will get caught. And I just like the atmosphere of being inside better than the outside, its creepier but its a CONTROLLED scare, its not random. And indoors they have more stuff to do like you can use the theming i.e bang on a barrel, hide in stairs etc. etc. I cant wait to turn 18 and audition for HHN 22 LOL.

Goodbye Wand & Arm
Adrenaline_Rush replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hey to refurbish s[paceship earth, like to add new track or whatever, wouldnt they need to take apart the EPCOT ball to get inside. See thats what I think is dumb about having a WHOLE ride in a building is if you ever want to change some track you have to dismantle the building, put in the track, then put the building together. But seriously I hope they do Spaceship Earth the justice it deserves. I bet there going to work on Project Tommorow. Its the new exit for Spaceship Earth, its really cool actually, its all about what people are like and what the future should be, and from what Ive seen in these games they have in their I think its spot on. And as for the wand and arm, good riddens. I dont know why I am saying that, because I perticularly dont care, but the ball looks WAY better without it, or so Ive seen from past images of the old ball and no wand. -
Goodbye Wand & Arm
Adrenaline_Rush replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I dont really care about the wand, though the hat can go, I am so excited about the renovation of Spaceship Earth! This is such a great ride, and if they adjusted the rough track and brakes, and updated the animatronics/electrical components, I think the ride would be great. Though they also need to fix the angle of the hills, because going up in the beginning all steep, was painful for my neck, going down steep, was painful for my neck and head. They need a higher head rest on those cars, because I'm 13 and my head goes above that headrest. And what about the people who are really tall like 6 foot, that headrest is down at there chest. Its crazy how uncomfortable it is. They need to add padding inside the cars too. Now if only we could renovate Space Mountain. -
