I'm still disgusted with myself that I have been to the Carnival twice in the same year (January then December), though it was totally worth it for the fun house!

^I had this problem as well. Updated everything, nothing. Put up with the issues until the update that fixed the problem was released and that solved it. Ever since then it has done the "not responding" thing once, which to me means the problem is lurking in the background somewhere?!

The geek in me hates that I missed it.

We did not get lost, TP was nice enough to show me around London and the o2 was somewhere I had never been before. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it! At least we knew what day the gig was! (Hi Anth! )

The only other place I know where there is a miniture Eiffel Tower is at the Hotel Casino Paris in Las Vegas. Thats my guess!

YAY! Awesome start Cameron! I remember this day as probably the hottest day and thought I was actually melting while queuing for one of the water rides... I still miss this trip! It was really was fantastic. Looking forward to the rest!

Oh no! This has been a bad year for attractions like this.

It's a sad loss but I think everyone knew the day was coming. I used to go a couple of times a year as a kid but didn't visit again until a couple of years ago. Although I do have a soft spot for the park, I have to echo what other have said. It was never busy and it wasn't in the best location. Two negatives doesn't always make a positive. Though with the amount of land there is, there is a ton of potential there if the right owners were to buy it. Hopefully the Schwarzkopf will find a new home close by!

I found this at one University I applied to and it majorly put me off. For example, the PhD student who was supervising the open day I went to put me down because I didn't go to a private High School! The whole day was pretty much like this, the fake posh accents and constant talk "I'm the smartest person in my School" got old very quickly.

I'm already impressed by this park. The X-Car especially is looking pretty sweet. Thanks for keeping us updated Holger!

First of all, LOVING the TR! You took a lot of great pictures! Second of all, I apologize for using your shoulder as a pillow! I did not realise this and hope my huge head didn't crush you're shoulder! Oh, and what is "pseudo arguing"? And if it was with Karl I'm sure he was just being a little bitch! Looking forward to the Phantasialand update!

Erik I have pictures to proof it!!! I do NOT remember this, therefore it NEVER happened!!! Anyway, this is probably my favourite TPR trip day ever. Everyday is awesome, but this was truly outstanding (the night at Gruna Lund being a very close 2nd). As much as I like theme parks, the social aspects of these trips is what makes them truly unique. The beer tent was an amazing experience and I was so glad it was with so many great people. After many, many rides on Olympia Looping and a morning at Europa Park ( ) topping the day off with the fair was the cherry on the cake! Some of us even stayed up all night as we didn't want the day to end! (SteveC & the Fudges are too blame for that!) It's a day I will never forget.

Just FYI, you missed Wales! Easily done since it's not a "real" country anyway! That must be some sort of record for someone of her age!
