Just because their clone coasters doesn't mean they'll be fixed at the same time. They could just be seeing how everything is going with what they fixed and how long it would last. ( don't know what I'm going on about)

That's good news. The area around Ottawa needs some atrractions, besides the museums and parliament hill. Something even better would be if the area got an amusement park.

The only rollercoasters I've been stuck on were at Laronde: Vampire 45mins, the two first cars of the train stopped after the station and the ride op couldn't get the restraints to open. Then on the Boomerang. The cable or something snapped, the train was halfway to the top then rolled back to the station. Not very exciting.

^ July 29 you say was packed. How many of the other coasters ran 2 trains besides Goliath? I've never seen it happen. After 5 trips so far this year and 6 last year never seen it happen. Goliath's a great addition to the park.

Canada needs more parks and bigger coasters. And more people.

I know this has nothing to deal with SOB but are the paramount parks keeping their paramount name? Because on the CF website it used to say just like Kings Island and Kings Dominion now it has the paramount name. Sorry if this was already in a thread. Something new should pop up at kings island and use SOB for a campfire.

Their ride dispatches take forever. The rides break down way to much, but that happens with many six flags parks. Some good rides. Some lame ones. Laronde isn't a horrible park though.

Wow. Sounds like you had a pretty crappy time, I was there this month and the same thing happend. Le cobra closed all day, super manage closed all day, was on boomerang when the cable snapped, on the splash had to evacuate because the motor for the lift died. On le vampire the train went 2 cars past the station so they couldnt let me out... That was a horible trip the only thing that ran all day was goliath and le monstre i guess they don't take as much care of the other rides now..

if the new types of trains are smoother vekoma should replace all the old ones with the new ones. The boomerang at SFDL on some seat the restraints are loose too maybe thats just me but it scared the hell out of me.

I go to laronde as much as i can.... anyone who has been there have you seen any coasters besides goliath run 2 trains?? I've never seen 2 trains run on any coaster at laronde. even if its packed and ive seen PCW run 2 trains on most the coasters and there was hardly anyone there. Also for laronde some of the ride op's get really annoyed if you ask them if they will run two trains most of the time they say it hasn't been inspected or it's broken...

Only voted ice because when i went fire was closed i liked the ice one alot so maybe when i go next year ill try to get on fire. out of topic but same thing happend on gwazi only the tiger side was open and the lion side was closed all day oh well

yea i havent read all the pages yet but on youtube i search cedar point and someone had something about new cedar point 2007project and it was a bunch of red intamin track doubt that it would top out dragster and dont think they need another impulse or hmm ...Still i havent read all the pages frig theres 78 im not gonna read all that right now so if someone mentioned this dont spazz out at me! Heres the site where i saw it... lol i like the ideas up top to many ideas but really how many types of intamins are out there ive been to CP 2 years ago and going in august so maybe ill take photos if anything is happening.

I know how you feel the same thing always happens to me, but its worse when your actually stuck on the ride like at SFDL and at laronde both six flags parks.. hmm i see a pattern.. yea well ferris wheel stopped for about 1 hour at darien lake and at laronde the vampire ( batman clone) the front 2 cars of the train passed the station and it took them 45 mins to bring out a box to step on and open the restraints manually.. and they had to test it about 3 times after i got off to make sure it wont happen again. but still why do most parks wait till later in the evening to put on a second train on the coasters!?!
